    Hi, can I ask your advice on a plumbing problem? I work in a school where there are sinks in every classroom, and in one of the classrooms (just the one) the hot tap isn't getting hot. Any idea what the problem is? thanks (the caretaker seems to think it is something to do with a valve being faulty)

    Hello James is there any chance you could do a video on fitting a toilet and built in sink unit, I've got a downstairs bathroom at my house and I'm thinking about replacing the original toilet and removing the sink too which is in the opposite corner of a very small room. I'm thinking about replacing them with one of the sink/toilet units.
    What's your opinion on them I'm not sure about the fact that to get to the sink you have to reach over the toilet pan
    Thanks
    And as ever hold tight

    How did you vent to allow atmospheric pressure into the system? & can you do a video of a typical waste system in U.K.?I'm from the U.S. we have a lot of differences in waste systems.

    • @plumberparts
      @plumberparts  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jason, we'll try to. What are your standard pipe sizes over there? PP!

    • @jasontheplumber3684
      @jasontheplumber3684 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1-1/2" 2",3" & 4" pipe sizes for waste piping depending on the fixture unit calculation all inches here, we don't use metric in construction here very often at all, I've heard some of my friends in special circumstances however I have never used metric.

    Hello mate,
    Top Vid. Very informative, many thanks for posting!
    I'm going to give this a go, but just wanted to know what that electric saw thing you used to square off the slots for the pipes is called, and what you used to so easily cut the waste pipe. Sorry if these are lame questions, but I'm a novice who'd really appreciate the advice and the transcript doesnt seem to cover those bits.
    Many thanks in advance!
