Ah, thank you for such a swift reply. My question concerns transferring AIS Targets from the Raymarine MFD to the iPad. Is this possible? If AIS works very well on the MFD and the MFD is Wifi capable, then is AIS information merely transferred to the iPad? We wondered if you had any experience looking at this. Many thanks.
Short answer no, the data is not synced like that this is only for transferring routes and waypoints. To do what you would like you would need something like Yachts Devices NMEA 2000 to wifi gateway and a Raymarine SNg to NMEA 2000 spur cable
