You are amazing Mikey, and very helpful too, you gave me so much structure to work with which was very good for me and I'm just amazed by how deeply you've reflected, thank you for sharing. P.S.: I took notes :P
Your video is absolutely brilliant, so glad I came across it and grateful to you for sharing such deeply insightful and practical framework. However, I've something I'd like to get some assistance on if you could... I had difficulty remembering a bad memory, you were seeming to hint thinking about things in life that create a sense of unease but more importantly a feeling of regret of sorts... well... I wasn't able to feel anything even with intention and I've suffered quite a bit in my life causing me great reflections, but those moments don't evoke anything, I just view them simply as events that happened rather than something I caused or was responsible for, I feel next to nothing, in fact the unimportant details from which I learnt nothing slowly fade my memories are quick to disappear and are ever increasingly blurry. I was able to feel something when asked to remember and visualize some good memory in my life, I was able to feel frissons or those goosebumps or chills that you get when you deeply connect and resonate with something and I couldn't help but smile. But then again, it was an attitude of viewing it as an pleasurable event, a positive experience, not concerned with any sense of responsibility. It was more of a feeling than a memory. This wasn't the case when remembering even any traumatizing or negative events/experiences I've lived in my life, there were no feelings, it's almost as if I've complete reconciliation and apathy towards them and the details and memories are also very vague. So... since these questions provide a map or direction for the intuition, I'm in bit of a puzzle. How can I use intuition without being sure if it's a full-body yes or a full-body no? I just threw my thoughts out, maybe you could throw some at me, any good or even bad ideas or anything you have to say will help. Or maybe I missed something if so repeating it out to me would be much appreciated. [ I'll edit this comment of mine if I figure something out or when someone or you has brought a closure to this. ] EDIT: I figured it out, turns out I just had a different way of feeling in my body and am quite calm, for me it's sensing if it energizes me (feeling of motivation) or drains me (feeling of awfulness).
Hey, I'm glad the video helped and itb gave you a framework to rely on. As to what you said, I feel like if you try to think about something traumartizing or a very negative event, that feeling of "not feeling anything" or "numbness" might be because it is something your psyche has worked very hard to neutralize and bury deep. That's why during the exercise I said, I don't recommend trying to think about something very horrible or traumatic in your lfie, because the reaction you get from thinking about that might be misleading. I think when doing this it's more about picturing the kind of memory or moment in time where you felt like something wasn't a good use of your time or you just felt uncomfortable, like when you had to go or be somewhere but felt annoyed cause it wasn't a good use of your time, or when you had to take a test in school that you did not feel sufficiently prepared for, etc. What you feel in your body then, is a better indicator. I hope that helps. But nonetheless, glad you found something that works with the "does this energize me or drain me" question!
This is huge, always write down ideas, intuitions, inspirations, reflections, etc. There’s so much joy that comes from looking back months or years later and realizing how much you’ve grown since
Great presentation. There are just to many macho, screaming skull wha...wha..wha....over the top....just force everything as well as yourself...Gung ho,know it all idiots out there posing as life coachers....There is nothing like a calm analytical path combined with sound reflexion...👍🏆
It’s true, the hustle culture and “macho business gurus” (lol) often forget the value that our intuition can bring to decisions, specially when you’ve done the work to heal and have peace of mind. Thanks for the support brother💪🏽❤️
This is great content. Glad I discovered you early

“Simple things are not easy.”
I often ask myself how would I feel tomorrow or even later if I did "XYZ" or didn't do "XYZ" today.
You get it. This is an awesome question to ask!

Appreciate it bro 🫶🏼 Might be a move thanks for the idea!
Write your intuitions down if it’s not time sensitive
