@@Nightwishh1 if you have an i5 3rd gen then there is no need to upgrade to i7 3rd gen in gaming there is very little performance gain not worth upgrading for!!!!!

In short, its a solid no on those questions. The PSU, motherboard and even the cooler are all specifically made for this. You can however upgrade the CPU, RAM, and GPU. But yeah, you are limited to that 240w power supply. Get an Optiplex (full size) if you want upgradeability

you cant, the case is BTX form factor and there are no conventional BTX cases out there

Hello, I have Hp desktop compak pro 6300 SFF 3.4 ghz , 16 gb RAM,core i5, psu 240 w.I bought video card gygabite gtx 1050ti low profile.I installed it, and in the first time when I turn on it works very well.I installed the drivers for video card and tested it playing Forza Horizon 4.But after reset the computer, the windows don’t boot anymore.Then I remove the video card and the pc works again. Is necessary do an upgrade of BIOS, etc?

the RX 570 is very large and will not fit in the case, and it requires a power connector from a large watt power supply, so I don't think you can put one in this system

Look at the aero itx models, the size can fit case. Also Gt1030 models mostly fit in this case.

graphics cards have their own kind of ram, GDDR6 or GDDR5 from what I remember. A system like this that I have has ddr3 ram, and you and me we have the same system, so you're going to have to look for some ddr3 ram

Mxkdi thanks for advice. I was looking for GT 1030 but in my country it costs minimum ~90-100 bucks (new). So I actually bought used Asus GTX 750ti without 6pin power connector. It was cheaper than even used GT 1030 in my country. Works Ok.

Did you get this sorted out? I seem to have the same rig, and want to install a 1050 Ti. But I've read online to check that my BIOS is not Legacy. Unfortunately, it is. I am wary of buying a GPU and have it not work because of the Legacy BIOS. Any insight would be appreciated.

This pc supports only couple of cpus which you can see in the site of the manufacturer (HP; support.hp.com/hr-en/document/c03382665), as for the gtx 1060 and 1050, only the short versions because it will hit the cpu cooler (you can try and change the cooler if you really want but it's gonna be a headache) and the PSU doesn't have 6 or 8 pin connector so only gpus without 6 pin connector (you can change the psu with 24 to 6 pin connector, but again it's gonna be a headache)

the standard length of gpu is 6.9inch, so i guess that 0.3 inches won't make the difference?
