This will be ideal for someone like myself. I prefer Seeflex armour to D3O but Seeflex doesn't fit my Richa jacket. I can now take the armour out of the Richa and just wear this as a base layer. Bravo Rev'it! Bravo!
I just picked mi e up from FCMoto and saved a lot of $$. I use it and the Knox MK3 jacket as my armor protection for the road and off-road. The Revit is beautifully made and I love the kidney belt that holds it close to your body, Everything is great!
I can get this Proteus jacket for under $200. Now the question for me is it it better than, the same as the KNOX MK3 Jacket which I have. That jacket is an excellent piece of equipment. I'd have to try it on and really inspect it but I can tel by visual inspection on my computer, I love it
Owned this for 2 years riding BDRs and quite like it. However, the zipper is very frail and started to fail after 1 season. I called Revit to see if I could purchase just the shirt without Armor... they never replied to emails or phones calls. I'll probably have a new zipper installed on my own, but it would have been nice to at least have the courtesy of a reply from Revit.
That is unfortunate and should not happen. So far I haven't had this problem, but if it happens I'll probably replace it myself with a stronger zipper. Thanks for the reply and drive safe 👍
Well, the Knox is approx 50 more expensive, but its inserts are level 2 all around, while been lighter, slimmer. The Knox mesh is AA rated for sliding as well. This mesh will fall apart if stressed, I guess.
Its not good at abrasion resistance its only an armored undershirt, It's class CU rated which means it hasn't been tested to offer minimum abrasion resistance, if you want abrasion resistance too look at the Rev'it Nucleus, its pricer but a direct competitor to the Knox Urbane lines.
Hello! How did u manage to take the protectors out? I have the same armour, but I m afraid not to break them apart when I try to take them out (I want to wash it)

I’ve got the revit nucleus it’s aa rated . I’m pretty happy with it , I just layer up or down accordingly
This looks a great bit of kit!
Good competitor to the Knox mesh shirt

Which model are you talking about on Knox?
@@NemoR44 For example the Urban Pro Mk3 armored shirt/jacket is a good one. It's AA and level 2 with their D3O like high-tech pads.
You guys should check out the base layers from Pando Moto. AAA + level 2 protectors.
So I wonder how much of a slide it can withstand before that mesh gives out and starts shedding the armour?
Yes. That's the main concern. Knox is more expensive, but I went with them and the quality is amazing.
This thing is single use. Better to have shredded mesh and wrecked armor than exposed bones.

Better one layer than no layer 👊👊
😁
Thanks! I noticed you bought a medium size, how tall and what is your weight? Thanks!
Hi, about 1m80 and 73kg.
@@FlamesAdventureS thank you! Same as me but Revit advices a Large for our size, may I ask if you have tried it out and was a loose fit?
I remember the L was a bit to loose, the M fits me best. I suggest you try them both to feel the difference, just for sure....

Hello, you can squeeze the protectors to make the smaller so you can take them out.
Заеб! Нормальный обзор!
