After flying UH-60's in the Army and now I'm flying medevac for my local hospital (OSF) I finally bought a drone (Potensic D85) thinking shoot I can fly real aircraft I can fly a drone........well after getting it stuck in a tree, stuck on top of my house and hitting my brand new Dodge Demon (that hurt lol) I found this video and have to say a huge THANK YOU!!!! There is a huge difference between real helicopters and drones but I already knew that. Thank you for this video, so now my 11 year old daughter and I can have fun following your videos
Thanks for your excellent video, after a car but me 9hrs ago leaving me disabled,(twisted mix spine, neck, pelvis, arms in steel frames, chunk of leg missing, skull dented, bruised & slight damaged brain, learning to try walking but now mobility scooter, blackouts, now worsening short term memory loss, hands open of there own accord,2 strokes since, heart & carotid artery surgery with heart implant device, nurses twice daily & tons of meds, insomnia & chronic pain 24/7 !!) Apart from that I'm fine, but up until your video,I'd smashed/crashed 2 other drones as my now lack of concentration & coordination & extremely fast forgetfulness, but now it's a much easier hobby to do now due to your particular instructions,my new drone is STILL in one piece,so thanks to you for all the help on your A - Z Video. All the best,Phil
Since I purchased my first drone this weekend, I have been scouring You Tube for tips. This is one of the best tutorials I've seen. Real helpful. Many thanks
Thanks for this.. At 62 yrs old I am just discovering the delights and frustrations of "drone" flying. It is far harder than I first thought :) Best wishes from Ireland.
A great beginners video for basic drone piloting. I commend you for your dedication to this sport and for helping beginners, like me, be a little less apprehensive about drones....thank's again!
Great video for a true beginner. So many of the videos I've watched go through everything so fast that it is almost impossible to learn anything. Thank you too for the info about battery safety. I purchased a lipo safe bag (from Amazon) and a couple of small pouches to store my batteries in.
T.Y. i am a old droner, but becouse work i dont hawe a lot of time to drive my drones and these tutorial is really help me to learn how to cirkle.I will practice these metode with my GPS off and on my cheaper drones like Syma that dont hawe GPS at all. T.Y. broo and greatinigs from Europe 🤘
And a HUGE thank you, sir! I have just discovered the joy of flying drones, but I had no real idea what I was supposed to be doing. This video was a huge help. Thank you very much. I subbed!
@@dronecamps Also, you had me so worried about burning my house down that I stored my charged batteries in the washing machine last night. You were serious right?
Was given a drone for Christmas Hubsan H501S and the more I TH-camd drones afterwards, I came to the conclusion I need to buy the Mavic Pro or the Mavic 2 Pro instead. However, after watching your video I’m beginning to think of keeping the Hubsan just to learn the basics before flying an expensive drone. Thanks for the video, it was helpful.
Justin - I"ve watched a TON of Vids about all aspects of these fun little machines -- and guess what, thanks to this video now I know what those two little sticks are for. I was wondering, and THANKS Have a drone on the way.

Loved the vid. Haven't flown yet but will maybe tomorrow. Have been getting to know the app and what the buttons do. I believe i can do what you did in the video. Thanks, it really built my confidence....
That is quite a different re-orientation technique (it works though) from that I learned and use. If gently pushing the pitch forward makes the quad move to the right I apply right yaw until it doesn't move right any more then pushing the pitch forward brings in back nose in. Applying left yaw in the same circumstances and then pitching back brings it back tail in. I've just been out and tried both systems and I don't think either is better than the other so thanks I've learned something new :)
thank you for this info I just got a drone today .and I learned a lot from watching this and I will be watching over and over a few time till I got it down pack.happy holidays
Waiting on my DJI Mavic Air, in the mean time I've been practicing with my Syma 107 here in the house with my cats chasing it. I am an ex RC plane pilot, cant wait for the new toy!
Very good and informative instruction. I like your style and how straight to the point you are. Do you teach how to do videos with theses? Love to learn

It's a beautiful video, but I really could not understand from it precisely HOW to use the controls to hold a hover. Every time mine takes off, it zooms as far away from me as it can, until it crashes into something. Like a two year old in a supermarket. Is it my Syma, or is it me? Please show us sometime what you do with your controls to achieve the hover.
It would be niceif you showed how to trim out this drone so it doesn't drift backward. I have the larger one you talked about at the beginning of your video, and I'm trying to trim it to keep the hover without drifting back towards me. Thanks for the tutorial. Nice job
I found that my brain can handle normal hover and nose in hover really well fairly quickly However, my biggest issue is when I'm at a side view orientation. That is when my mind loses track of what's going on and I panic.
I need an advice Justine....Im a bored 66 year old needs a good not so cheap drone for practice only, whats your best choice for me? I need a response now a days....
on my world tech mini elite Orion when I pres return it beeps and wont shut off yet I still have some control, and the easy mode makes it like headless and beeps yet another push can turn it off on the-same button ,why isn't the return button shutting off when pushed twice
perfect video, your video helped me so much, I hope I can learn how to turn now, but when I try my throttle stick always goes up because i into have altitude hold
I'm new to drone flying. Mine has gone missing a few times already, I've managed to retrieve it though. I got the revell demon for £60 from Argos and the instruction manual makes little to no sense, if anyone makes a video on how to use it, I'd be eternally grateful
got myself a runner 250 quad and its props are going the wrong way, have tried all the obvious and the props only config the right way, taken a good look at various setting and have no ideas left, Any ideas guys
Ok i got a new drone for cristmas i thought hey cool ive watched tutorials for beginners ⬇$40 and so i charged the batter for an hour due to all rc's have being precharged any ways i followed the steps up to the updowd for it to register the drone to the controller as soon as it lifted from the floor no controls so i took it outside did the same thing it went straight for the tree and it took m to use my fishing pole and sinker to retrieve it came down broke a leg off and a prop gaurd and help or advise would be very very helpful im about to throw it away and move onto the next hobbie im a beginner never flew one before
Great video. Thank you for all the tips. I'm just getting into the RC drone hobby and can't wait to try it when I get my own drone. Do you have a link for this drone you fly in the video? Subscribed! Thank you!
