There is a mistake in the PoB Notes Section. Essence Drain is noted as Quest Reward for Act1 - Mercy Mission. But it's actually Reward for Act 1 - The Siren's Cadence and must be bought from the vendor after completing the quest. Just wanted to drop that here, in case any new players are wondering, why they can't get Essence Drain, yet :)
Alright. I've got a bone to pick with this build. I just now completed this build until its uber lab ascendacy for a practice run for SSF HC League start in 3.10. And honestly, I have no idea how this is a viable HC build. It's "tanky" on the surface, and gets way more "viable" after you get your fourth ascendancy point. However, before then it's just a walking twig ready to get one shot. This is with 4k life, 2.5k ES, capped res, and all points except uber lab. Not to mention, going for your uber lab ascendancy is a nightmare because this build basically gets ONE shot by any traps. This is ridiculous. ALSO, I normally play SC so for this build I specifically went for the survival nodes first. I even have all the shield nodes, and the end game unique weapon and shield that is listed in POB. IDK man.. Evasion chars just seem so unreliable. I WANT this build to work for me in my 3.10 HC journey, I just dont think it will EDIT: And before you ask, YES i have a Jade flask.
Mine, by far actually. Ghazzy's guide is more of a beginner introduction to ED, but a very good guide if you're unsure about what you are doing. Ziz's guide is... Pretty much the same. Follow one of them if you are beginning, otherwise go on the forums and grab an endgame setup from a guide made by someone who spent hundreds of hours making it work in the very endgame, you'll get much better results. There's a couple good ones, you choose ^^

Not because I only want a build that can deal with any delve, but rather because for most of the players ED+contagion can't do ANY delving. 1+2 is way too clunky for darkness mechanics. Unless you want to only run with your cart or pre-flare every room you step in

It's pretty much the same but much better for ssf players. I guess you saw it, I can only recommend it. As to delve, any Ed setup will go to 400 easily really. I'm 650 with no trouble whatsoever, but I have better (trade league enabled) gear. I just killed a 626 Aul, it was really easy tbh. When I say Ed doesn't do the deepest bosses, I really mean the 1k+ ones ^^ I hope you find something that suits your needs, have fun in metamorph!

Sorry, I'm new to this, but when I import using the pastebin link the build seems a bit funky. My import is showing a Shadow trickster instead of a duelist and the passive tree doesn't look like yours at all. I'm sure it's user error but I can't seem to figure it out.

@@GymShu69 if its ssl error simply remove the "s" in "https" in the pastebin link and it will work, as a temporary fix. A permanent fix would be to let "LSASS.EXE" through your firewall, as this is whats causing the error in the first place.
I'm lvl 77 using this build, but in live Ziz change the tree fo ES nodes, when can i do this? How much ES without ES nodes i need have to change life for ES on tree?

Path of building... there lies PoE's problem. 3rd party apps for building out a character cause the game and ggg can't communicate shit to the player. IE what the fuck killed me? Will reinstall on Xbox when they add a feature to see wtf killed your character.. least of be able to figure out what defence stat wasn't stacked far enough.? Convoluted game. Later nerds... oh and tencent forced PoE 2 on the devs... thank fortnite 🤦♂️🤦♂️
I reached 3 and a halfmill DPS on ed + blight last 2 leagues and I could keep investing if I needed. Don't know what u are talking about . Also the CI variant with block can facetank shaper slams with ease so..

The reason you go ED in the first place is speed, so trickster is natural. Cast speed also matters a lot because u are double casting every pack
what gems do you run in the Magna Eclipsis shield?
I rolled mine all blue and run the auras with enlighten
Switch enlighten with lvl 4 Empower and go ham when you got the currency.
i have cerberus limb and magna eclpsis shield. Should i use them together even tho i dont benefit from the life leech?

I played ED/Contagion like two leagues ago & could dumpster Uber Elder. Not sure how this is going to be any different.
