This is a great guide and, after trying some of my own experimental stuff this league, i am going to give this a shot. I've wanted to give Trickster a shot ever since Bane was released, and I'm definitely going to start this build right now. Thank you so much for the nice guide!!

If you ever get a chance to go over old builds would love to see the soulwrest summoner updated as minions saw some great changes in 3.8 and there is some different gems that can make the build stronger now. its a great build and even starter freindly for all platforms
I went cold dot as starter. By my recent experience, there is a budget way to get good wands. The divination card The Archmage's Right Hand give you a nice base to craft. Just regal and craft chaos damage multiplier as you unveil. The only brick is projectile speed and another dot multi taking place. Sure, it's tedious to find 7 cards to buy, but at 1 chaos each they make a really budget option.
Soulrend Trickster is the best starter build i've ever played. Boss fights may be hard, but map clearing is so smooth and enjoyable! Thanks for video! PS: got that black dragon pet yesterday from box )))
I think the big advantage of an Occultist would be that she has built-in Wither if you choose the right Ascendency nodes. That would allow us to use e.g. an Essence Drain instead of the Spell Totems for more Boss damage.

Question, does this build work with CI? Playing this build in HCSSF so the low life is pretty hard to get working on that league lol but what would you recommend for HCSSF ?
Ive got a bane occultist, and do way more dmg than this. Conquerors except drox 45 sec level 82/83. Sirus awakened 6 on 1,5 mn... Metamorphs t16 under 30 seg... so like i said way more dmg.
I like EE's very sober presentation of his material. No need for over-the-top descriptions / interjections ('ee..zz!', etc.) which are usually NOT SO when actually pursued! LOL.
Do the global abilities of equipment add to each other if there are duplicates? Example being dual wielding Daggers for Crit Chance or a pair of Swords for Crit Power
Quick question. Did you say 5 ex? How did you get 5 ex so quickly into the league? Is there a super good way to far that I don't know about, or did you just get a lucky drop?
how do you have so much ES? i have 1700 and 2,2k Life.. i hardly can even do tier 4 maps.. how do you farm enough currency to upgrade to farm higher tier maps? Also my higher tier maps wont drop.. i got one tier 7, played it and didnt drop a single map :/
This guide doesn't explain much. Like as in the purpose of low life. You have to do all these workarounds anyway. So what is the benefit in regards to overall damage output? Rather than trying to invest into all these tons of workarounds for survivability, just invest into some normal hp sustain. And have more available to improve other aspects of combat. I also don't get the Wicked Ward. It says energy regeneration. So I'm guessing that's recharge? Which seems to be more important for less offensive tanky style builds. Due to expectation to take multiple hits within the first four seconds. Therefore, you're at least still able to continue recharging half the energy rather than none at all due to interruption. Whereas a more elusive style build who is decreasing likelihood of taking a single hit within those first four seconds benefits more from double the recharge.
But.... Where is the thicc? :( I will still be succing with this though. Edit - I just read the other comments and saw that quite a lot of people are asking for the thicc Jugg. The last thing we want to do is pile up the pressure and push you into doing something that you are not interested in at the moment. Take your time man. We love you :)

I made 2 ex off selecting the right meta body parts, randomly saw 2 white parts with "drops a breachstone", so I'd focus on the league mechanic

Keep playing. Thats the fun part. Do cheap maps, open your chest and keep playing. Exalts drops are everywhere.

New to POE. How was he proccing his potions in this video? They don't seem manual the way it looks. Is that a mod?
I just leave my left hand on my flask keys and use my mouse/side buttons for everything else.

Spiritual Aid applys minion damage to us and minion damage is just global damage increase, so it works on all our sources of damage

Either by Weave the Arcane or just swapping in a Enduring Mana Pot.

7k ES is NOT large ES pool. Not by last league standards, and especially not by this league's standards with all the metamorphs and new end game.
