Absolutely! I've been a fan of theirs since 2018 and enjoy just about everything that they've put out. Their single barrels are great too. We had a cask strength rye pick that tasted like peanut M&Ms and it blew us away.

We're glad to hear that someone agrees with the more niche parts of our palate. The Wilderness Trail single barrel ryes that we've had are insane. There was an older pick we got from Binny's that tasted like peanut M&Ms, and we can't stop thinking about it.
I picked up a bottle of Cream of Kentucky this week. I got it from my secret spot.

I need to go to Uptown for that Michters and a few Sagamore. I love their maple cask finish. I’m slowly sipping on that.
Never tried Sagamore maple! Didn't even know it exists. How's it taste?
@@BondingOverBourbon You taste the maple as soon as it hits your palate but it isn’t over powering, then finishes with a rye spice. It’s really good.
It was a limited release. Did a little research and they only sold in Massachusetts and here(Illinois). It was a very small batch that was bottled apparently. I grabbed it because it was the last one at Binnys. A couple days prior the row was full.

Good monthly assortment. What days do you recommend visiting a Binny's?
Thanks for watching, and great question! If you're looking for end of bin sales, it usually starts on Mondays. New/allocated items are typically put out strategically Friday-Sunday. We visit our local store every Saturday and have had a lot of success with finding rare and hard to find bottles. It might be different from store to store, but this is the trend that we've noticed. I hope this information is helpful, and happy hunting!
Do you mind elaborating on the Binnys event? I didn’t know they did events. How did you hear about it?
Sure! The World of Whiskies event was a ticketed tasting at the Lincoln Park Binny's for $75 a person. Basically, it was broken down by individual distributors, and each was given a table to highlight their products. You could go up to any/every table and ask to try their products, and most poured quite generously. There was a 3 hour limit to the event with free food available, and access to about 500 different spirits to try.
We go to Binny's every weekend just to see what's available and to say hi to our people, so they filled us in about the event. Binny's does a surprising amount of events in just about every market their in, so check this out for more info!

@@BondingOverBourbon Thank you! I live in Evergreen park, 5 minutes from our local Binnys and I visit pretty often. I’ll have to ask if there are any upcoming events. I saw they did a wine tasting recently, but I’m not big on wine.
Sometimes they have stuff in the works that don't make it onto the calendar until the events are closer. Checking the calendar on a regular basis might be a good idea as well.
We're also not huge on wine, but there's a few things that could sway us 🤫
