At any rate I don't see how this could go in Kaiser's favor. Unless it would be done during WWII, Hitler would be prefferable to Wilhelm in the eyes of foreign countries. It would be a bloody civil war, with involvment from other countries (they need Germany to pay their debt) eventually tipping the war into Hitler's favor.
