how do you mag thrust perfectly laterally or backwards? even with max rank multidirectional equipped, my thrust always goes forwards. What's the m/kb input I need to do?
(long explanation) it isn't possible to mag thrust backwards, but you can get decent side to side movements by combining your strafe, steering, and forward speeds, and you want to make sure you have rival chassis. multi directional does not strafe the tank perfectly to the left, or to the right, but also incorporates forwards movement. go in VR training, equip rival with multi directional and hold d + shift (or whatever your strafe right + boost keybinds are) and look at the angle at which the multi directional will push you, you can see it is not perfectly to one side or the other, but also pushes you forwards. To get it to move perfectly laterally, you have to steer the tank to one side or the other so that it cancels out that forwards movement. To do that, you need to point the front of the tank maybe about 40 degrees away from the area that you want to be moving laterally over, then boost while strafing towards it, and while your momentum is carrying you to the side over that area, you point the front of the tank back forwards at your desired target. (sorry this is a lot of text its kinda hard to exlpain)
lol 0:13 the drop beat perfectly lol
Which server do you play on? Looking to gun for an aggressive driver 😅

@@MagRapid i really appreciate it. Do you turn the tank further away from or further towards the direction you want to boost strafe in?
@@RahulDevanarayanan no problem. i turn it further towards
