    These rainbow cloud bath bombs were so fun to make, and I felt they definitely needed to be included with the Taylor Swift soaps. So as a bonus for all T-Swizzle fans that order soaps for the rest of the month, they will also get a cloud bomb or two!
    Watch the video for a rainbow color block recipe to use in bath bomb embeds!
    Full Taylor Swift soap sets are available on the website!

    Soap & Clay is a family owned business operating in Washington State, but started out online thanks to Mrs. Soap & Clay's kickass brother and his amazing web design skills. The business was started as a tribute to Mrs. Soap & Clay's grandmother, the OG maker in the family that cultivated everyone's love for the DIY life. The studio/retail shop opened in 2017 on 6th Ave in Tacoma, and immediately began teaching soap, bath bomb, lotion, and scrub classes to the makers and maker enthusiasts of the PNW. In 2019, the pottery studio opened as well, making the soap shop a busy place full of artistic energy every minute of the day.
    Mrs. Soap & Clay has been featured on Business Spotlight, New Day Northwest, and was awarded a coveted place on the South Sound's 40 under 40 list in 2019, an award given to the most influential business people under the age of 40 each year. She cried when she walked up to the podium to accept the award. A lot.
    Drawing from her chemistry background and her maker spirit, Mrs. Soap & Clay infuses her favorite things into her soapy designs and creates products that are fun to see, use, and learn to make. Stick around for this ride - she'll take you on a great one.

    I’m working on them now. Very excited. Thank you. Must have gotten too much water in my rainbow layers. It raised like bread. It was funny. Next time no spritz of water in those for me.

    Am I the only one that is here for your intros? I will leave the soap making to you. It is cool getting to see your thought process and technique. But mostly, I am here for your intros.

    I binge watch your videos every day while doing all of the soapy things and when my 16 year old son decides to come out of his room and hears your stories etc he laughs and says your cool. He also thinks it awesome that you are a gamer bc his mama is not lol.

    I just did the embeds and substituted half a teaspoon of glycerin with poly 80 plus with hazel for the water. It activated really badly =(

    Can't wait to try this embed! One question...you mentioned corn starch in your bath bombs. I've heard corn starch isn't good for your drains as it doesn't break down, what are your thoughts on this?

    Don’t know how I haven’t come across this video before! Great stuff! If you don’t mind sharing, for that gorgeous purple black, what is the ratio of dyes? I always seem to get stuck with a lavender color that turns pastel blue until it dries back lavender. Many thanks for this vid!

  • @CowlesRyan
    @CowlesRyan 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Are you using lake dyes for the colorants, specifically the green and blue?

    So did you add more cornstarch to the cloud part and use 1:1?

    How long did you allow the color block to dry before you unmolded it cut ??

    • @MrsSoapAndClay
      @MrsSoapAndClay  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi! The video covers the time I let them dry - 30ish minutes? For sure less than an hour. If they get too hard you can’t cut them. :)

      For the full cloud portion, we let them dry overnight. :)

      I have found that waiting 24 hours to unmold from a silicon mold is best. :)
