Many apologies I mispronounced Hratli because I got so focused on practicing (I really did) the non English breathy soft Hr sound, I guess my brain didnt even bother to remember the rest of his name. Thanks for pulling me up on it, will correct for the rest of the series.

dont worry cuz Hratli's is so unspellable blizzard themselves(YES, the blizzard that made the game) mispronounced his name and because of that quote on quote "set him a MagicLevel of 1 for everything because Blizzard too cannot spell his name (the column header has a typo in it)

I never really paid much attention to NPC chatter back when I played this game, but looking back, there really are a lot of hidden gems in the dialogue.
I lost my D2 disc back in the day and haven't felt like re-buying the game, but this channel is definitely the next best thing when it comes to this sort of nostalgia. Keep it up :)

Trivia: Iron Wolves, mercenary from Act 3 resembles a sorcerer (wearing heavy/plated armor) from Diablo 1.
Natalya is the assassin in Act 3 and it (assassin without a cloak) can be playable in D2 lord of destruction. Natalya the assassin appears as NPC before the release of LOD during D2 pre-expansion days.
in the old version of the game(1.00-1.06) when the guards used to have "somewhat randomized" eqiupment like helms on a1 and a2 mercs, and shields+helms on a1 mercs, the act 3 goons even used the ankh shield sprites from diablo 1.

Neither did I! Crazy that lost quests have intro dialogue - early return dialogue - and completion. Multi phase quests have even more!
Please do more of the Kurast part, its my favorite Zone in D2 but I was too young to understand what was going on! This is great stuff!

Alkor's voice reminds me a lot of that Indie sounding doctor/guru guy from courage the cowardly dog. I still play diablo 2 but never have I actually bothered to listen to NPC dialogues in the middle of any mission. It was always loot loot loot!

You should add an extra hour to the video in Act 3 walking around the jungle. That's how long it usually takes to find the Flayer Jungle. Some people never find it.

Even though I've played through this game God knows how many times, I really get hyped for each and every episode you put out. You deserve far more than the subscriber count you have. For if anyone want to see the INGAME story for Diablo, your channel is the way to go.

I never noticed that the Dark Wanderer was staring towards the City before starting walking away. I played that game often but found him already walking away or just dissapearing even i knew he was there, so him looking at the City makes it little bit scary and creepy.

Dear Game Lore Dash... Do not acquire the Act 5 Mercenary! During my days playing as a Barbarian in Diablo 2, I have tried the Act 5 Barbarians. These Act 3 mercenaries have a much better chance of survivability and are more proficient at dealing with Baal's minions.
Unfortunately, I lost at least 3 of the Act 5 mercenaries before returning to Ashera to hire. And her mercenary lasted much longer with one of three elements.
Sometimes I'll slog through A3 for old time's sake. Seems to take only a few mins for me to remember why I would usually skip to trav
IT hasn't occured me till now that those markings are voodoo veves or at least very similar to them.

The city never stood a chance. I really think the Horadrim and Tyrael underestimated the corruptive power of the Prime Evils and their reach. They meant well but it wasnt enough...
True but it's rad that the Horadrim originally captured Mephisto in a showdown out in the open. Would have been s sight to behold
@@DarkLOREDash True. The nephalim were strong together no doubt, but its sad that the once beautiful city of Kurast has been utterly destroyed. The cost of defeating a Prime Evil is higher than just the lifes of those who fought them. I hope that the future generations will have learned from the mistakes that the old Horadrim have made. I fear what Lillith will bring... I hope her father and uncles dont show up as well but if they do, what titanic fight this will be between the fully empowered nephalim, the Three, now once united, now separate and the ancestorial mother of humanity. Hell, no pun intended, I think maybe even the Three will be divided due to the acts of the youngest... maybe the inner animosity between the Three can be exploited? I mean Mephisto and Baal probably dont appreciate what Diablo did to them...

I've been playing D2 for years and for me Act 3 is the most annoying level filled with the most annoying monsters in the game. I usually just get the Khalim's relics, clap Mephisto's ass and get the hell out of there lol.
