No noticable differences on everyday usage
In my day to day life, battery life FAR exceeds the importance of superior chip performance. I have a 13 pro max and it still runs great with any app I may want to use. I value the battery life much more.
I own the s23 Ultra which has an amazing battery for android phone, the iPhone 13 pro max was the last iPhone I owned and I have to say it was the best battery life I ever have for a cellphone without extended case 😀 it really exceed my expectations

iPhone's upgrades are pretty much gimmicks and makes for great sales pitches, but serves no actual real world benefit.
@@markus9641 I’d say they’re worth it if you’re upgrading from a 4+ year old device, because even if the overall experience hasn’t changed much, there are definitely small improvements that have been added over the years that make it worthwhile (ex. OLED screen, resolution, pro motion, battery size, and camera tech).
@@koheiwa I’ve had the 13 Pro Max since launch and it’s currently at 86% battery health. I’ll probably consider upgrading by the time it either reaches 60% battery health or the phone is accidentally broken beyond repair.

people like me switching from samsung s21+ to 14 pro max is huge change but I dont think its better to switch from 14 pro max to 15 pro max. Yeah titanium, a17 etc etc everybody knows its basically the same phone (almost)
For me the biggest change is new gpu with ray tracing. rest of all contents are almost the same like previous ones

In my opinion, yes it’s not a huge upgrade other than USB-C which should have been done years ago, but whatever. And Wi-Fi 6e. Now that isn’t going to effect most people. But personally that is huge to me. I just built a new house and am putting together a 6ghz Linksys mesh system with AT&T fiber 2.5 gb/s. So yes, most users won’t see much of a difference from the 14 pro max. That is for sure. If you are at a 12 or 13 I definitely believe the upgrade is worth it. Just my thoughts.

I thought the 15 pro max would overheat and wouldn’t have as great of battery life as my 13 pro max…but it has exceeded my expectations. Better battery life, lighter, way better camera, and noticeably lighter. The screen is what most surprised me, it is way more vivid and saturated like Samsungs, which I prefer.

I would think it would be as there is no change in the screen structure or any of that, i'm not a hundred percent sure how the bezels or ear piece microphone on the top that would line up though.

This is exactly the video I wanted to see. Just real world usage of the phone. In comparison if you have a 12 or later, I just don't think for most users they'll see the difference. Perfect.

probably true but I wouldn't mind sacrificing some durability for lighter weight since the 14 pro can get uncomfortable to hold for long periods. I end up slapping a case and screen protector on my phone right away anyways albeit super thin lightweight cases. Still keeping my 14 pro tho
Try to workout more so you won't feel the weight it has😅. It's just a few grams difference but why do some people complain about the weight of the 14PM especially for some men that I can hold it one hand easily. BTW i have normal sized hands(5'7 in height only).

Had I an iPhone 11 or older i would definetely consider upgrading. But I just got the iPhone 14 Pro Max, I don't really see any major upgrades or differences on perfomance or the phone itself enough to go and switch. I'm keeping the 14 pro max.

I saw a render on another speed test and the result showed the 15 Pro Max 3X faster than the S23U. It used the new encoder/decoder. I assume the iMovie app has not been updated yet as Apple has a lot of things on at the moment so is not at the top of its list.
Yes, I agree; performance, there is no reason to upgrade for that, though not that many people will be upgrading from the 14PM. The average according to Apple is now four years, so people coming from the iPhone 11 on average. I have the 11 Pro Max and I suspect a speed test would show a much larger difference in performance. Other advantages would be: SOT, cameras, display quality, extra RAM, design, modem, BT, wifi 6E, screen brightness, 120Hz, UWB2, USBC, USB3, neural engine, etc...

instead of making that much powerfull proc , apple should really upgrade their cooling, yeah snap gen 2 on paper is weaker but in practice keep up cause of better cooling and not throttling

In my day to day life of using my iPhone i am on it all day sending messages, playing casino games, sending emails etc. When home I have TH-cam running continuously, even when I’m asleep it’s still running videos and on charge… that’s literally every day.. so I put my phone though a lot of stress
I figured since it's made out of titanium that it might have a heating problem especially when it updates software

12:03 3D mark fps graph shows that 15 pro is throttling way before 14 pro. Check the 30 seconds mark where 14 pro had better performance for a while. I bet if you remove the first 20 seconds from the average they will be more or less identical in terms of performance.
One of these days must do an original 2007 iPhone vs current iPhone 15 Pro (or if want to keep it fair😉, a ‘vanilla’ 15).
I have just upgraded from XS Max to 14 Pro Max and mannn , it feels like a huge upgrade . The 120Hz screen , the cameras , the snappiness omg i just loveee it!
My 15 pro max has been amazing and I'm coming from a 13 pro. They fixed the over processing issues with the camera ..it's more softer almost like Samsung. The device is much lighter and easier to hold and the titanium blue color is beautiful . The standby time is amazing. I charged it to 97 percent and woke up with it still at 97 percent. I have had no issues with it heating up. The action button is useful as well. It may look like the same phone but it is not

The bezel only appears bigger, because the color of the phone is dark on the older phone on the newer phone. It has a lighter frame, and appears thinner because of your white background. They are the exact same specifications.
The thinner bezels are much prettier.
