- these were my best matches from my 3-4 days of grinding (which was on average 4 hours in each of those days). i wouldve been able to capture more footage had it not been for 2 tests and a long presentation that were in the same week as this phestival :']
ill also try to show more Slingshot MVPs in future P! gameplay videos, even if my performance isnt that good and my progress with him is incredibly slow.

also please teach me ur ways w playing scythe (aka i want you to tutor me in playing scythe [or maybe just getting better in general is what i need, including my attention])
sadly i dont think im able to tutor anyone due to several factors (free time, timezone differences, scheduling, actually tutoring). the rest of my reply is just blabber and probably not helpful so take all of it with a bucket of salt
as for playing scythe, im still experimenting with her and how effective or ineffective certain strategies and playstyles are, so i currently dont have any good advice revolving playing as her yet. i think finding a balance between targetting the marked enemy and targetting a non-marked enemy is a good start, along with learning ammo management. you can also try out her versatility with the abilities that give her more mobility (eg. M1 (in a way), Q, E and F on her scythe mode).
how much damage can you take from specific phighters before you need to act more defensively or retreat? which matchups are favorable or disadvantageous to you? is your marked enemy worth fighting melee range or better chipping damage from a distance? are you low on ammo or near the max amount? how will you manage that to avoid potential waste of them? what will you do if your marked enemy isnt in your field of view? how much ammo do you really need to use with your various abilities in different scenarios? what will you do if youre low or empty on ammunition, which limits you to mostly her scythe? what ways can you utilise her abilities? is the way youre playing as her an effective use of her kit, or do you have to play as her differently? what works with your playstyle when playing as scythe and what doesnt? why is that the case? these are a few things i think of when using scythe, but a bunch of these questions/reflections can also be implemented for other phighters.
for getting better in general, the simplest answer is to play the game. not to the point where your mind is a husk and youre not having fun, but just playing, trying different things out (such as using a phighter youre not good at), giving yourself room to fail, reflecting on your performance in matches at times, and so on. the most important thing is to have fun while playing. forcing yourself to play a game with the sole intent to become skilled at it and nothing else wont get you far, based on personal experience.
with attention, theres a lot of factors as to what can help or impede it. it could be general game sense and what type of phighter youre using, but it could also be the environment around you, your current mental state and much more. what might help is figuring out what makes you focus better or worse when playing. do you have a general understanding of what happens during matches, or is everything a chaotic mess to you? are you experienced in knowing which enemy to target and when? is the phighter youre using one youre familiar with or one that feels foreign? are environmental factors (noise, lights, whats around you) bothering you? are you in a mood or mental state thats affecting your overall performance when playing?
