Ah yes, I love it when I carry the team getting 10 kills and 8 assists with only 1 death on shuriken then some random skateboard with 0 deaths and 11 assists gets mvp instead :))

I feel dumb playing skateboard, most of the time i end up getting stuck somewhere and losing speed or exiting the skateboard completely ;-;
1. turn off mouse accleration (this is the most important)
2. turn up your sensitivity to as high as you can handle comfortably. you should slowly increase the sensitivity overtime as you get used to higher and higher.
I did those a long time ago and that's how my onboard skate gameplay became insane like this. you'd be impressed for how high I set it to.

On a scale to 1-10, how broken do you think skate is across the lifespan of phighting? the lowest being "perfectly balanced" to the top explaining how he shattering space and time across all of phighting.
(looking at how powerful skate should be on paper vs. his actual game preformance)

as of right now I'd probably say a 3? skate isn't really overpowered, he just has an incredibly high skill ceiling. He's annoying to fight against but I don't really know how the devs could fix that without skate becoming less fun to play with.

how do you get back on the skateboard without your E ability ready
if you get a kill while onboard, it allows you to deboard and onboard immediately without getting another kill (E is supposed to recharge when you get a kill)

sorry, trimping is technically a bug so i'm not teaching anyone how to do it. Don't want to risk it being patched. I don't trust the dev not to patch trimping, even though that tech adds to the skill ceiling of skate and isn't gamebreaking at all. For example harmless and fun bugs have been patched in the past so that's why I don't trust the dev.
Feel free to experiment with what you see in the video though.

@@peavuh lets see... there's a lot of fun ones that you can't do anymore.
1. Damaging people in the lobby, it was done by leaving the game while a projectile was out. you could kill people with sub ult, sword ult, things like that. It was really fun to troll with and mess around with in the lobby. With subspaces ult, people would stay trapped in the air until they reset. Had some good memories with that one. One time I had a bunch of ulting biografts in there holding m1, called them my "pet pitbulls". whole server went crazy about it where some of them were telling me to "let the dogs free", how I'm "abusing my pets" and a lot of funny things like that. Unforgettable experience. Can't do that anymore. That was when before I started my channel so I don't have any footage. (maybe I have screenshots?)
2. Sticking the sword from sword's ult into things (they wouldn't despawn). You could do this by going to the character select right before sword's ult was going to explode. Had a good memory with this one, when me and my friend were sticking a ton of swords into the catshot at slingshot cafe. Occasionally people would walk in and comment with things like "what are you doing to that catshot" and some of the people visiting would even join in in sticking swords into it. I have a screenshot saved of me doing that. Can't do that anymore.
3. Spawning floating platforms with Slingshot. You could spawn a floating platform with slingshot by resetting while hovering, then you would change character and float in the air. It would break some character's animations. Don't have any particular good memories with that one but it was fun to see people's reactions. Can't do that anymore.
4. Stacking Skateboard Tricks. If you had a macro to spam spacebar at a ledge, you could trick massive amounts all at once, they would stack up and give you INSANE HEIGHT AND SPEED. I was flying around the lobby with this bug at unfathomable speeds and even used this to get to the top of the tower in the lobby. It was my favorite one. This wasn't useful in an actual game because the speed and height you gained from this was too much and you'd get stuck in ceilings and things like that. And the rare time you did hit someone it'd only do like 30 damage since damage didn't heavily scale with speed. It was only useful to fly at high speeds in the lobby. Can't do that anymore.
5. You used to be able to jump off the edge of the map with Katana and grapple someone for a fun void kill. Now you get marked as taking damage from that person. It was annoying to be void killed with this so I understand why'd it get patched, but it wasn't practical because attacking normally with Katana got you more kills anyway. I understand why this would get patched so I don't care as much with this.
So yeah maybe you can tell i'm just a littttle bit still pissed with these harmless fun bugs getting taken away. It'd make sense for these to be patched if these were found during development since these were bugs, but why patch this AFTER lots of people found it and were having fun with it? The way I see it, if the developer finds any bugs, it'll be patched out without thinking about the conquences at all or how it potentially improves the game.
Remember trimping in TF2? That started out originally as a bug, but players liked it so much that the developers decided to keep it in instead of fixing it as a bug. It gave complexity and more creative stratigies for the game, and overall made it more fun. Wouldn't be TF2 without trimping.
So these are all my thoughts of the situation and how I feel about skateboard and why I really don't want any of the tech to be patched.
@@lavakitty89 dang i didnt even know any of these but i hope that if more fun non-gamebreaking bugs are found they arent patched (could be made so they only work in crossroads bc thats the area of silliness)
