    When I was in my late teens/very early 20s, my boyfriend at the time taught me how to play chess. It was something I never ever thought I would or could learn to play. I never beat him, lol, but just seeing that I had the ability to learn such a complicated game really did give me more confidence for other things in my life. So I think this is a great thing you and mental athlete are doing for the community
    P.s "Super poppin" is super cute 😂💖 it gave me a cheesy smile lol

    I just have gotten back into chess after years, and I'm so glad I did. Without chess as a kid, I'm not sure what other outlet I would of had.

    I have tried to play chess, but I did very poorly because I have so much trouble focusing.

      I know how to play the game, but it's too much mental work and takes too long, or I take too long to decide my moves. I guess I'm not a mental athlete, hah. Really cool and exciting thing that they're doing!
