Loved the projects. Will be makking as couple of them for myself and daughter. A terrific collab line up. Enjoyed them all. Two are my favorite crafters and now I have added You and Linda. I am excited to see more of what you two have to offer. So much talent.
Everything is absolutely gorgeos! I just got back from a walk in the woods and I picked up some really pretty moss. I'm going to see if I can preserve it for craft use later. I'm not sure if it will work for the Christmas tree you just made, but I'll give it a try. I love your sugar mold! I have a rustic block of wood that I snuck inside from hubby's junk pile behind the shop.😂 I bet it would work for a similar idea because it has a little bulk to it. Funny story! Last week I had my husband remove a tire from an old lawn mower rim before he hauled it to the scrap yard. I wanted the rim to use as a riser. He said he had a steel brush and he was going to remove the rust to make it nice and shiny for me. I shouted for him to stop in the nick of time. I told him I loved the rust and that's why I wanted it. He gave me the "eye roll" before handing it over to me. 😂
I too do a mix. Most of my tree ornaments are old, but I try to make a few new ones each year. Looking back I can see the crafts that I was doing that year, cross stitch, decoupage, etc. Btw, I'm a first time viewer and I LOVE your channel and I immediately subscribed! Thank you for the great content and easy instructions! You're a great teacher! Hugs and Blessings from Texas ❤💜❤💜❤💜
Beautiful! They all turned out great, but I think the candy canes are my favorite! I actually have that same red and white striped fabric in my stash! I think I might add a sugar mold to my Christmas list this year! 😜
I love to make my own decors and gifts , however the last 20yeRs I have not been able to continue because I am on a ssi income and no longer able to get items to use, I do look for garage sales and used items, so I love you use of simple items. I lov watching you, but I must confess I wish I could be doing it again. Keep crafting ?
Look into craft sessions at your local library. They might only ask a small donation to cover costs and you won’t be stuck with extra supplies you don’t need
GREAT PROJECTS!!!! IT may be worth trying wrapping the candy canes with the tinsel left on? You would get more dimension out of them ...just a thought. I would def let the sugar mold out all winter. I like the extra 2 trees!!!
Absolutely adorable projects! I loooove the rustic farmhouse of each one! With each video, you up your game! Yep! Love your style sweet friend! Much hugs! Can’t wait for part 2!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Hey Emily, they all turned out great. I love the Christmas tree, I did one a few years ago with a green wreath form from DT and used there brand to put around it, it smelled so good! I really want to get the Christmas one from Hobby Lobby! So I plan on doing it for sure now!❤❤❤
This is what I found about the use or purpose for sugar molds: These molds are used in Mexico to make cones of sugar called piloncillo. Liquid is poured into the cone shaped holes, and when hardened, is sold in the markets to be chipped off and used as needed in cooking.

If you turn the candy cane form upside down, you could use it for witch legs, gnome legs, Santa legs, etc. I love how it was upgraded.
