What a wonderful episode again! Thank you for taking me along on your walks. As one who has mobility difficulties tgese walks bring me tremendous joy and memories of my backpacking and camping days. I always enjoy watching you “make” no matter what it is, but the making of the storage drawer brought extra joy and satisfaction. You must be thrilled with the results. Until the next time. Salam wa sa’aadah
Your podcasts are always so lovely. What beautiful scenery you have and of course Jack is perfect. Thanks for showing us all your projects, as always very inspiring. A change of pace every now and then is like a breath of fresh air. :) Take care
You weren't kidding that your socks matched the blue bells in the woods. So pretty. I would never have thought to see you in a dinosaur t-shirt! How fun. Love the idea of painting a dream. You have such a command of the paint and brushes. It's nice to watch. And I appreciate how satisfying it must be to put the paints away in their proper place. Thanks for sharing. Your videos are always a pleasure to watch.
Thank you for your lovely video. So inspirational and calming. Perfect to watch while I am doing paper piecing hexies preparation for quilting.Blessings from Manitoba, Canada.
Great to see you again. Loved all you presented. Thrilled with your successful results with your sewing. I remember your previous challenges making pants! Your updated studio looks wonderful! I'm sure you are enjoying it. Take care!
Dear Katie, thank you for bringing so much joy. watching you work on the whale comic brought an atmosphere of magic just like Dartmoor does. your bluebell socks and your pants are beautiful. your storage box inspired me to start making one myself. and thank you for sharing your thoughts. Stay safe. Till next time
Those woods must be for the fairies and elves, they are stunningly beautiful! Again, you created so many wonderful things, - I really like the storage box!
Your dinosaur tee shirt and shorts are brilliant. I loved the lining in the pockets of the shorts that tied in with the top. Your comic strip looked so lovely too.
Another beautiful podcast! Your dinosaur shirt put a big smile on my face, and I love the story of how your skirt became the perfect shorts. Also love your whale tale! You bring such joy. Thank you! 🐋 🦖🧶🪡 🎨
That was lovely Katie. Both soothing and relaxing to the mind, eyes, ears and soul. Those bluebells are truly magical. The package is on it's way, just a bit delayed in sending it to you. Hope you get a chuckle out of it.
Your box making is absolutely brilliant, such a useful skill. Bought your sheep tapes and am using them in my knitting journal for my photos, thank you. I live in the Lancashire moors beautiful but barren so enjoy your woods.😄😄
Yay! I’ve been missing you! I hope that you are doing well❤️🙏 I love your new setup; it looks like it will work well for you. The T-shirt and shorts are genius!
What a lovely new work space you are creating. The art work on the backside of the table, great idea. Can’t wait till you finish the whale comic. Jack seemed much calmer sitting in your lap today. So enjoyed the bluebells on the moor. Makes me want to knit something in that color.
@@KatieGreenBean i love the idea of special touches like that in garments; a private way of carrying a caring message on one’s person- with you wherever you are- a secret strength somehow?! 🌱
Loved the quiet little moments between you and Jack when you stop and give him a treat before you head off again into the beautiful woods. I have my own 'Jack' - a Jack Russell cross terrier we rescued as a puppy. He's about Jack's size but white and tan with a white, very fluffy coat. So I understand
I have two of your sheep pillows on my love seat and they always make me smile. I thought to myself that it would be lovely to see a new vlog of you and Jack. I came downstairs for my lunch and there was your Volg! I felt very connected to you both even 5hough I’m far away in Ontario, Canada.
I enjoyed your podcast while knitting the porcelain shawl ,brioche, on ravelry. I love your podcast it's so unique You, silent, with loving details. f.ex. the camera follows you the hole time except at the end ......🌳💚🌳 love from germany
I really like your "Trans rights are Human rights" drawing in the Backround/ under your desk. I'm part of the LGBTQ* myself and are happy for every kind of representation in any kind of media. And i also think, that the Knitting- and over all the Handcrafts-Comunity here on youtube is very kind and LGBTQ friendly, and i say this as a gay and knitting man. I'm very haply that i found your lovely podcast. Thank you for half an hour of relaxing and knitting. In these harsh and chaotic times, it felt like a gift. Long story short: Thank you :) (Sorry for any mistakes I've made, english is not my first language)
Oh Jack! He kissed you back, Katie!! ❤️❤️❤️ Loved the episode and always devour the comic process. My friend and I realised we shared something we do and tgat is, we see situations of all kinds in animation or comic form and keep saying we need to get our ideas out of the storyboard process and properly designed and painted and then formatted. I did a short basic animation course and it was so much fun!!!! Love you guys and hugs to you. Lu
I looked for the signification of dreaming about whale ; I found that the general meaning of big animals from deep in the ocean is referring to great ( deep) life accomplishment . More specific “seeing a whale “ means : unnecessary worries about an accomplishment. As for “ swimming with a whale “ means: help coming from a higher positioned person .... All of this is good I think 🤔! But only you what you are feeling about this dream..Thank you for sharing your “art” with us . It is fascinating to see how these steps of creating .... 🤩 wow 🙏🍀🐶💕🌈Has Jack lost a few pounds? he seems a bit smaller ...to me . May be a lot of swimming for him too? hug 🤗 for Jack
Oh, wow, I love all these possible meanings! I don't think Jack has lost weight....people are often surprised how small he is, I think they forget when they don't see him for a while, because he's such a big personality. But he definitely is his usual self and he does not enjoy swimming :)
What are the five Rohrer Klingner Antiktusche coloured inks that you are using in this film? I love the moodiness of them and can't quite locate those bottles or see those names? Love Love your creative mind!
Thanks Sandra. I was using Paynesgrau, Shiefergrau, Lotusgrun, Ceresschwarz and Umbra gebrannt (plus a bit of Apricot and Krapprot to mix my skin tone), and for the inks I use ProArte prolene plus (synthetic bristle) brushes, various sizes. I hope that helps :)
I used greyboard, which most art suppliers sell in some form. I prefer it to be 3mm - thick enough but not too thick to cut! This particular batch came from London Graphic Centre (mail order)
Thank you so much. Eventually, I think I'll include it in my next Bean Sprouts collection of mini comics, once I've made enough to produce another little booklet :)
Hi Soozie, yes Jack has a very strong chase instinct so it's safest to keep him on the lead. But also, the National Park actually asks for all dogs to be kept on leads this time of year during lambing and bird nesting season.

Oh, yes Jack always kisses back!! I hope you find a way to work on some of your stories, it's so fascinating to hear that your brain works like that.
Your swimming with whales comic reminds me of the childrens’ book ‘Dear Greenpeace’ by Simon James 😁
Lots of people recommended this book after seeing my comic - I'll have to check it out!
you are so at one with nature, thats why you unintentionally knitted a seasonal pair of sox lovely human
Magical whales :) 🥰

.....yes he was on a short leach....she said a time ago he needs to be on the leach.
