I am guessing by your mention of digestive biscuits that you're in England.
I would use Jammie Dodgers berry blast or whatever the traditional berry flavor is.
Or, though I personally think the image on the Happy Faces cookies looks like a possessed piglet, I think taste-wise they would be great.
iirc, they have a jam layer _plus_ a custard filling which is sorta what's inside an Oreo (it's basically just sweetened shortening with a very faint vanilla flavor).
