I was in the aquarium business for over 20 years. I got out of it about 10-12 years ago. I had a small retail shop and eventually went to a small warehouse doing only custom installations, repairs and monthly maintenance. Also in South Florida. Man...the aquarium business has changed.

I have zero idea about corals or anything about Aquariums but i love their beauty (corals), the colors, forms and how they glow. The corals on their websites are gorgeous some even have small preview videos in a flow.

@@cendika-2290 someone in their ownership has an engineering mindset. Maybe this is a bit of an arrogant comment or comes off as such. But when you have that type of mindset you instantly recognize others who have it. It’s like “ah, I would’ve done it the same way. Good work.”
I find it interesting a lot of businesses aren’t in the business they appear to be, McDonalds for example is much more in the franchising business then the food industry.
There's many methods of madness to their success apparently.

Leave them alone to run their, lives, businesses and careers - if we all continue to live as isolated prisoners our whole economies and countries are going to collapse. This whole virus thing is being overblown and weaponised against us by state, media and corporations who want us all fearful, obedient and under surveillance at all times. Nature provided us with immune systems that by current figures seem to show that practically anyone who gets this virus is fine, so fine that half the time they don't even have a symntom!

This will be the future of coral existence, maybe 15 years left before most reefs are bleached out. The great thing here is that the toughest strains are hardy for the customer, the required skill level is less than 10 years ago :). When u see ripping tanks from the early 2000s , those guys were masters! Now with the right equipment and monitors , you can achieve similar with less skill, however it’s still hard to do which makes the challenge fun :)

I live in Australia and I must say, America has way better fish stores and coral varieties.
that is really sad considering almost all corals and fish come from Australia and Indonesia
@@rogeliozunigachavez161 I think majority of the coral variants come from Indonesia. I'm a huge zoanthid enthusiast and I collect alot of different zoanthids. But there are sooo many more zoanthid variants in America compared to Australia its insane.

@@rogeliozunigachavez161 no freaking way. Its US for everything. We cant import anything because of strict quarantine. You guys have HUGE population (customer base) and fuk all legalities. Ego - you get everything. With only 25mil people here the market size for coral tanks is tiny. Thus equipment is VERY expensive, further reducing size of market.

@@LudwigVaanArthans thats not correct - it affects much more than just covid. if the hospital has a lot of beds used up by covid, where are the appendicitis patients going to go? where are the heart attack patients staying the night at? and besides - its not a 99.9% survival rate. people in 1918 had better sense than you. try to look at it from people that have been taking care of covid patients from the beginning - so sick of people saying its not a big deal and then now begging for help on treatment because they can't breathe or they are 4 weeks post-infection complaining that they cant get through half a day at work before they have to go home because they are exhausted. im tired of listening to our healthcare providers crying because 20-25% of their entire census in a nursing home has died in just a week's time. its because of attitudes like yours that we are still in this mess.

You should really come check out the shop I work at. It’s a salt and freshwater fish only store. Freshwater side is all about aqua scaping and the salt is all about our corals. I work at aqautics by nature in mandeville Louisiana. Thought you may be interested. We are fairly new. Only been open for a year and a half but business is booming and we are teaching everyone that walks in our passion for the fish industry
