I love Arjun. I have never seen or read an interview that he didn't thank the fans first and foremost.
Love how Arjun in real life has some of the softness and vulnerability of Quintin and Jason in real life has some of the confidence and strength of Penny 40. Thought it was awesome how much they like and respect each other in real life and that they are much more well rounded than their characters. Which is a very good thing. It’s what allows them to be able to play the parts as well as they do.
I love going back and watching old interviews of them trying to not give away too much about future seasons. Now knowing what we know.
Does anyone else just like to watch S1E7 and S1E10 over and over?
Also, my favorite line of the entire series is when the Penny in Quinton's dream says

@@mcjug1350 I think that characters that get to be posed or similar (Eliot / Julia / Alice to a degree) or have some other reason to change completely (penny 40) have something of an advantage there. You can only show your range if the script lets you, you know?

Joshua Roger I think Julia has the best storyline. The actress does a great job portraying a difficult character.
BlueInferno15 Seriously. Though all of them have gone through a lot and have great storylines, Julia's gone through the most development, and that whole journey was really intriguing
I'd definitely say Alice has had the most (and coincidentally also the best) development. Stellas blank resting bitch face has annoyed me pretty much since day 1.. :o she's faced a looot of rejection yeah, but.. havent they all... she's always the one who took it hardest.
THERAMMSTEINFAN490 Oh true, Alice. Though I guess I didn't consider it really being Alice since most of the season as a Niffin she was no longer Alice. But now that they've brought her back and she's herself plus she rmbrs her life as a Niffin that is a big character progression (that was literally the last episode so def slipped my mind) lol These two take the cake on big character development

I love them and this show so damn much.
My story with the book is that it was sitting on the top of a box for months in my favourite 2nd hand book store and when I went to buy 3 of the 5 books for "The Song of Ice and Fire" series and they cost 12 euros I picked up "The Magicians" in order to reach the 15 euros in total. The crazy thing is that I first read all 3 books (which took quite some time) and then picked up the magicians and finished it in less than a week. This is a great story of discovering a new world in the weirdest places
I have the ebook, good to know it moves fast given my short attention span...
Big fan of Arjun Gupta! Brings a very fun quality to the character of Penny!

The books are among my favorite/top 20. I was hesitant to watch the series, but have loved it! Disappointed that it ends at Season 5. I hope someone will take on some of the characters and develop shows for them.

Julia is definitely my favorite character. I mean, sure, she's really imperfect but she is trying and I like that. I can't stand Alice. Nothing against her actress. She seems a darling, the character is just so annoying to me.

She is the worst actress I have ever watched. She has only one facial expression, which is just a blank stare. I think it is from to many botox injections. Her cracked voice reminds me of the many bar flys I've picked up through the years. She is just terrible.
