    Good video but if you keep your foot on the biting point on the clutch while you get started moving you’ll burn up your clutch really fast you can give it gas while letting out sort of rapidly match it basically

      It won't burn out the clutch, however it will wear out the throw out bearing and the engagement point will be at the top all the time. Meaning when you accelerate there won't be an engagement anymore and the clutch will be sluggish from a standstill point from then on.

    When he says if you have driven a manual dirtbike quad or motorcycle, he said it makes it easier it does, but thay are nothing alike the concept is the same, but don't treat it the same

    When coming to a stop; is the correct way to clutch in first, then brake (as in the video) or brake first, then clutch in?
    Just bought an 05 G35 new to manual but I’m having fun with it!

      Doesn’t really matter just don’t stop in gear while not on the clutch

      In my mustang the car doesn’t like it when your at say 3,000 rpm and you cut the power. The rpm’s will drop below idle. So I slow down in gear until it reaches about 1000-1500 rpm then put it in neutral

      I use my brakes (depending on situation, I may downshift all gears or only some) and clutch in when it gets down to about 1k rpms and put it into neutral if it’s dead stop or 2-3 if its moving again as I get there.

      There’s usually two ways to brake on a manual car. Either when the car is in gear (which you slowly brake then clutch in to avoid stalling) or u shift it down to neutral and slow down. The whole point is to give your clutch as much longevity as possible. Peace and cheers 👌

      Easy just go on marketplace then go to transmission type and select manual

    Does your foot have to be on the brake as well as the clutch when you’re first moving it ?

    • @JtKellerman
      @JtKellerman  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No to start moving hold down the clutch, put it in gear and slowly let go of the clutch until you hit the point where you feel the car wanting to moving on it’s own, hold it there while you give it a little bit of gas and once you’re moving, you can fully let out on the clutch. Hope that helps

      @@JtKellerman Okay, and every time I stop at like a stop sign or a red light, I can just put my foot on the brake like normal, or I have to push both the clutch and brake pedal?

    • @JtKellerman
      @JtKellerman  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You would want to clutch and brake if you’re in gear. You could put it in neutral and use your brake like normal

    what’s the breaking point agian?

    • @JtKellerman
      @JtKellerman  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The breaking point is when you’re slowly letting go of the clutch, the point where the car wants to move without you giving it gas
