When explaining SPIKES I gave a *really* brief overview and left out some important bits in K you want to also - tell the patient the bad news - give the information in small chunks - use simple language You don't need to know excessive detail about SPIKES at your stage! This is the guideline that doctors will use so dont worry if you miss a few parts, it's great just to have a general idea 💗
I have an interview this week and I'm feeling super nervous about it because I feel like I'm not saying enough. So I was following along with your answers which are all amazing btw, and I usually end up saying some bits of the things you say, but not in enough detail :(
@@jocelynhunt9482 Hey Jocelyn 💕 good luck for your interview later this week! It’s great to hear you’re on the right track, if you feel like you’re not saying enough try not to worry! They usually ask follow up questions which will give you an opportunity to elaborate more xx
I found this SO helpful. I’ve got an interview on Thursday so this was a really nice opportunity to practice ! Thank you , you’re really doing gods work helping us all out 💜
Great video, thank you! For Q2, I would also ask the 14-yr old what her reasons are for requesting birth control, since BC pills have applications beyond only contraceptives. I would try to address and explore those concerns first. If it seems she does want to use it as contraceptives, I would then discuss that situation as you wonderfully did!
My Newcastle interview was in 2019 (in person and MMI) and I left feeling really happy with how it went! I know this year its slightly different with it being panel and virtual though :( The interviewers were really friendly at mine and there weren't any trick questions. It went a million times better than my Sunderland one, I left it thinking I'd flopped lol How did yours go? X
Hey Christina, I was checking the entry requirements for Newcastle university medicine course and they don’t require science related A levels for 2020 onwards. Can you please explain more or get information from a teacher as it’s not very clear on the website; what sorts of A levels you’d need beside the science related subjects. Thank you for all your videos and efforts🤍!
Hey, I've had a look at the website and it says: "Achieve AAA excluding: - General Studies - Use of Mathematics - World Development - Communication and Culture - Critical Thinking" To me this means you could study literally any subject (excluding the ones above) and be eligible to apply!
@@ChristinaAaliyah oh okay makes so much sense thank you so much for the video and the help! Good luck on your course, wishing you all the success! (Please wish me to be accepted into it in 2023)🥺🤞🏾!!x
