Has there been any mention of what Osiris is going to do? Vance has headed into the Infinite Forest. Is Osiris going to also fight on Mercury like Sloan is on Titan?
The Warlock and Hunter looked up at the colossal shadow of the Pyramid from the now near empty room that would soon be devoid of the blind fanatic. The Hunter collected what little of Vance's work she was allowed to take, as the Warlock instructed, then she left as he requested. As he had one last thing to do. He was soon standing before the soon to be closed gate of the Infinite Forest. Stepping inside the Forest the Warlock extended is Light, Arc Souls appearing beside him and rotating around him like a star. He reached out his hand into the flows of radiolarian that extended all around him and as the sparks shot through his body he sent in his own Arc to respond in kind. The Arc Souls flew into the radiolarian and quickly scattered throughout the Forest's framework. While not quite what Osiris could do with Solar Light, his usage of Arc Light accomplished the same effect. He viewed throughout the Forest for several minutes, seeing all things the thinking engine could predict. His Arc Souls took a copied form of himself and ran through the infinite worlds of the Vex, fighting and dying at the hands of the machines in his search for answers to his many questions. He saw friends die a thousand times, allies turn into foes and foes into allies, the Darkness envelop all reality and the Light purge the universe of all opposition. So many different possibilities and he saw the steps to each, and yet the Vex could not answer his question for they could not understand Dark or Light in their truest forms. But he did see one option, there was one who had seen the Darkness on the edge of the universe and then came to Sol. If the Warlock reached out to him...A dangerous proposition. He saw the glowing Solar form of Osiris' projection shake hands with the sparking form of his own Arc Soul, and then he saw a blind man standing before the Forest. He took his hands away from the radiolarian, the sparks having scorched his body but his Arc had protected him from any other side effects. He left his Arc Souls to their missions, though he did not know if he would be able to contact them in the Forest, perhaps they would protect the fanatic when he begins his journey. He stepped out of the machine and stood before Vance, only a few words passed between them. Words of warning and gratitude before they parted ways. The Warlock could feel the echoes of his Arc Souls but could not see through them, he felt when one died or when they went too deep into the Vex's world. He left the dead world of Mercury one last time, but not before setting a battalion of vex ablaze as a goodbye to the Light-forsaken world.
Cool video! But I expected some more information about Vance. Wasn't he up to something? There was something sinister with those lighthouses and Trials of Osiris if I remember correctly. Something odd happened as well in the final lore we receive about Vance in the extraction missions. Is that for the next vid you mentioned?
Does one think the unique biosphere on mercury regulated the heat on the planet? Being bright and reflecting light back can reduce heat, the pink and yellow make sense. That and could plants eat heat instead of light or act as coolers? Perhaps a light dimming atmosphere?
Said it before. We went back in time and gave Saint-14 a 1000 light/power weapon. Max light/power at the end of D1 was 400. What was the cap in Saint-14's time? 75? Happy hunting! Murder-tastic!
-319 F (cold) 797 F (hot). Now a more important question. Is the only way into the infinite forest on mercury? Could it be possible to access from another location. Hypothetically Mars?
Awesome vid! Love all the lore! I actually had a question about the Chronicler title that I hope you can help me with. I know it is going away in Beyond Light but if the only lore book I need is "Truth to Power" do you know if it is still obtainable since Dreaming City isnt leaving?

In your sign-off, the word "per" in per audacia should sound more like the word pear rather than what I hear as purr from you.
Being in Arizona, I concur with that assessment of our summers lol
I still think the grave was The Speaker. He always gave off a sinister vibe. I think he's still alive and he's part of the darkness
Byf, your videos are so good i got an add that said "meet jesus" right over your name
This is a sign
Probably a recommendation vid to Myelin Games Fire side reading - He does look like Aussie Jesus lol
Byf your scripts are so elite it’s almost funny
I’m not trying to start any drama but Destiny is a game made by Americans. It makes sense that people would be asking for the imperial metrics. There’s no need to be rude
I'm sad that I can't do the quests to rescue Saint-14. Oh well, that'll learn me.
Hey uncool, Arizona isn’t that hot!....
....😏who am I kidding. Hell is cooler than here😅
Damn byf! 1:41 you didn’t have to do us like that 😂
Main thing I'm wondering about regarding the Darkness' arrival is "WHERE is Osiris? Is he coming out of the forest?"
The infinite forest be like: "42"
Has there been any mention of what Osiris is going to do? Vance has headed into the Infinite Forest. Is Osiris going to also fight on Mercury like Sloan is on Titan?
Every time I hear his intro music I get goose bumps like as if you. heard the avengers theme
I can't help but think the ships will start playing "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" by The Darkness and kill us with "GUITAR!"
As a resident of Arizona I can attest to the validity of the statement at the beginning...it's stupidly hot here
The Warlock and Hunter looked up at the colossal shadow of the Pyramid from the now near empty room that would soon be devoid of the blind fanatic.
The Corridors of Time was such a cool community event. Shame it's reward was only early access to Bastion.

I don't know who pissed in Byf's lore coffee the morning he made this video but there you go.
Okay, so the lighthouse was cool and all, but if I never have to enter the infinite forest again, it would be to soon.
You should foreshadow on what would happen with xivu arath
damn, small rock of hell is the 2nd most important vex instillation ever
Here before bungie uses the infinite forest as a game engine
Cool video! But I expected some more information about Vance. Wasn't he up to something? There was something sinister with those lighthouses and Trials of Osiris if I remember correctly. Something odd happened as well in the final lore we receive about Vance in the extraction missions. Is that for the next vid you mentioned?
And no one uses the perfect paradox to this day! The end.
Does one think the unique biosphere on mercury regulated the heat on the planet? Being bright and reflecting light back can reduce heat, the pink and yellow make sense. That and could plants eat heat instead of light or act as coolers? Perhaps a light dimming atmosphere?
Hey so if brother Vance sealed the infinite forrest , where is Osiris is he still in there or did he go somewhere else ?
1:33
As an Arizonan, that sounds about right
Said it before. We went back in time and gave Saint-14 a 1000 light/power weapon. Max light/power at the end of D1 was 400. What was the cap in Saint-14's time? 75? Happy hunting! Murder-tastic!
How do you get those BG videos'? do you have bungos video making tool?
He's manipulating the camera by equipping a sword and pressing his back against terrain (plus turning off the HUD in options of course)
Bungie made it clear the title is full stop leaving, even if the lore you're missing is rooted in areas that's not going into the DCV.
Yeah, basically if you didn't have it when they announced it became impossible to get in time. Sucks, but I'm in the same boat as I have everything except the Wishender bow one, but that takes 33 weeks to get them all. :(
Fav planet time!
For all us American scrubs, -195C=-319F and 425C=797F
In case anyone is wondering, Pluto doesn’t dominate its orbital path.
You didn’t talk about Vance closing the infinite forist
When ur on a destination does an ultra wide actually show u more stuff and “up” ur FoV? Just wondering because a friend told me it just stretches the FoV not giving u more but it doesn’t seem that way from byfs footage or am I just being tricked?
I took the Fahrenheit comment a little too personally lol
