I quit GD unfortunatly like 2-3 years ago (after beating every demons and levels with three coins and decode if i remember correctly, wich wasnt really bad I think at that time) and your video helped me to kinda get everything back (not necessarly the need to play but like memories and stuff) and be aware of much more things I didn't know earlier, surely one of the best GD channel out there !

Some 2.1 levels: *Ocular Miracle* - This level did so much - started the new wave of object-heavy, XXL megacollabs, helped boost the popularity of NONG music, especially Camellia, basically started the speedcore genre of gameplay - of modern 2.1 levels, this would be #1 on my list by far The Eschaton - Showed how immensely detailed boss stages - and levels, generally - can be, started a new genre of modern-tech styled levels (Boss 3 Electro also fits under this description, but The Eschaton took this to a whole new level) Aleph 0 - Showed how impactful good effects can be on a level, boosted the popularity of effect based layouts, widened the range of NONG music being used (Again, Dropdead could also kinda fit under this description, but Aleph 0 really defined this genre of layouts/levels) Belloq - Quickly became a cornerstone of well-synced levels and introduced the idea that layouts with fast click rates but very good sync can still be fun (I mean, when the GD community searches frantically for other songs that sync up to one of the parts of your level, you know it syncs well)

The Equalizer effect in Funnygame Holiday is actually just 1 color channel, as that's all they had back then. But what they COULD do is stack color blocks with blending to make it look like the structure is pulsing from a certain point.
(7:36) In 1.7, there was only ONE color channel. This made the level even more groundbreaking for its time. Three more color channels were added in 1.9, and 995 more color channels were added in 2.0.
Without these, GD levels would've been crappy! But we have them, fortunely, and our boi GD Flaaroni covers thems down. Amazing job. time sure flies! :)
Funnygame Holiday actually uses only ONE color channel, the others are set to a certain color but never used in the level, like no block has color 2,3 or 4, you can check it out yourself.

It was just a really hard wave level that started a trend. Same with cataclysm and bloodbath. They were only revered because of difficulty. I can agree with most of the list, but a slight name change would make the video even better.

- Color 1 (custom color)
