Nice video, I agree with most of what you say. But me "convincing the people in megacollabs that I should upload" is completely wrong. I'm the one who hosted Digital Descent, HyperSonic and SubSonic. That's why I uploaded them. I didn't have to convince anybody in them or the verifier (Combined) that I should upload. They all agreed that I should upload from the start. As to what you do as a host: decide song, get all the creators, make time slots, decide theme and make sure it all goes around. Pretty much like a director for a movie. As to Artificial Ascent and Phantoms Manor, I uploaded those because the original host, AncientAnubis quit before they were finished, and he didn't want to upload them. He recently uploaded Event Horizon, which I participated in, and obviously he got to upload since he hosted it. I also hosted UltraSonic back in the day, which ZenthicAlpha uploaded. More recently I hosted Yatagarasu which TrusTa got to upload since he put so much work into verifying. As to collabs I uploaded, I didn't have to convince anyone like you claim in this video. I do like some CP though, but when other people deserve to upload a collab more and actually want to do so, they get it. An example is Combined, who didn't want to upload AA, DD, Hyper- or SubSonic. Other than that, really cool video with nice commentary :)
Based on the levels of mine that you judged, I actually don’t blame you here. I can agree that Chambers has way more attention than it needs; somehow the levels into which I put the least effort receive the most reward. If I happen to make another simple, less-attentive-to-detail level in the future, I’ll try to keep them a bit less usual. ;)

Additionally there are some other people who tell me I should've put in people that are pre 1.9, like cody and dorabae. In response to this, I should've made this more clear but for this list I tried to make it so people that were relevant anywhere from 1.9 to now could be on this list. 2. Ok, sorry Ferdefunky for putting you on here. Yes, I was aware of your new levels but I didn't really notice the effort in them. I was kind of brainwashed by riverciver's famous creators rant where he said all of ferde's levels are generic trash. Also I tried to put people's most well known level for gameplay, not best. It's nothing personal, I'm not trying to make them look bad. After all it's just background gameplay people shouldn't get triggered by it. And this also applies to the other people in this list. Again with ferde, I shouldn't have put him on here. I would replace him with schady because I totally forgot about him when writing the script. 3. A lot of people wondered why I put people like viprin and adiale in the list since they are already hated by the community. When I say "overrated" I tried to make it based off of how many features they have along with how relevant they are in the community, not the community's opinion of that person altogether. Hopefully this clears things up.

Everyone says lemons isn't generic and has a fixed style. I have one thing to say to this; Well yes, but actually no. Lemons uses his own style very rarely and most his levels *ARE* just plain and generic. Unlike other generic creators, lemons Gameplay is below average and generally not fun. His most recent level, locomotion, is the most effortless thing I've ever seen; the decoration consists of nothing but bricks, the colours dont even work well. Its like he abused the sweetdude effect (which he probably didn't intend to). Really, I think Lemons is a similar story to Sirhadoken, he can make good levels, but instead makes generic trash.
I'm not gonna lie I used to be friends with sweetdude, I guess we are but he doesn't talk anymore, he mainly plays this dragon and dungeon games on steam but thats not the point, he has been gone for 3 months now because he has been doing studies, geometry dash wasn't a big aspect in his life, I used to talk to him for a year and a half so for a while and he would bring up topics very weirdly like he would get into topics very quick transitions, nvm thats not the point, sweetdude was just a kid back when he was playing geometry dash, we all were at some stage, his main popular levels like s.a 1 and 2 were very low class detailed but that was 1.9 and 2.0 back then, after all he was just a kid. now the rainbow and low detail and effort I guess u could say was pretty garbage to say the least, overall I don't think he is a bad creator just a bad creator who got too much attention and became an easy target. it was a nice video and I really did enjoy it.
I'm pretty sure he makes half of his levels as a joke anyways, I mean he is perfectly capable of making really good levels as we've seen with the Syobon Action series, he just doesn't want to.

Here's some of my thoughts about the top 10: SirHadoken - some of his levels were actually quite good and I wouldn't say he puts no effort to his level, however I wish he would put a bit more to them. Some of his levels get too high ratings but overall they aren't that bad IMO. Still not amazing either. Ferdefunky - yeah, I saw that you noticed he improved in 2.1 and I agree. Also, about Traction, I might be different but I actually enjoyed the level. Even though it was simplistic, the gameplay was probably one of the most enjoyable from the demon gauntlet. Torch121 - I agree with this one and I think he isn't overrated because he actually got a lot of backlash for literally copying effects from other people. He said he will improve but I don't know about his recent levels, didn't check them. GD Jose - I actually like his style. It's simple but that glittery/flashy feel is quite unique. However I agree that he uses these effects way too often. I wish he could try other styles too as he would have an opportunity to become a good creator. Berkoo - I think he had some "non-generic" levels with a bit of art but not sure about that. I think he was okay, not amazing though. He was shining when GDW came out, now I don't see much from him. Danolex - yeah, his levels were pretty repetitive back in 2.0 and early 2.1 but I noticed he is now trying to mess with more styles or art. He's slowly improving. Ferris - welp, he was pretty popular in 1.9 but I agree, nothing amazing. Viprin - if I remember correctly, Viprin kinda burnt out with making solo levels. IIRC his only solo 2.1 level was Iridescent. He mainly now focuses on megacollabs or on promoting some good levels. He's not the best creator but IMO he puts effort with finding levels that are really interesting and still unrated. Sweetdude - I actually liked Syobon Action a lot. The gameplay was focusing on memory but every time I died at a trap, I literally just laughed. His other levels weren't that great but SA was indeed really fun (the sequel still decent but a bit less fun). Adiale - here I kinda disagree with the fact he's "overrated" because he used to get a lot of hate for getting "easy rated levels". The thing is that most of the time he wasn't really expecting his levels to get rated that high. I don't think it's his fault that his style is pretty simplistic, it's more like RobTop overrating them, especially when GDW came out. His levels are decent but IMO half of these should be just rated, not featured to make it more fair. Now he kinda quit the game because he got sick of it. Here are some of my opinions about them. I respect your opinions though and I agree with some. :P
Also, There’s no way GD Jose is amazing, his gear levels take somewhat quite a lot of effort, and come on, even those his 2017 levels, apart from the gameplay, they look amazing
Bro all of his levels are the same. They have that dumb dark glow effect everywhere and use too many dark colors. Also, they're mainly just moving object spam
Hes a good creator, but he just doesnt change anything between his levels. On their own, his levels are really nice and they use dark colours really well.
Clash Maniacs he says opticalfox. Not optical. Optical is a good creator. Opticalfox is apparently a different name ferris02 went by. And Ferris02 is a shit creator.
But the reason sooo many people like Adieles levels, including me, is that they have great gameplay with simplistic design. His levels may not be the most decorated but are very fun to play and that's the most important thing in a level. I mean, he didn't get sooo many creator points for no reason, clearly players love his style. It's really annoying when people compere simplicity with lazy design, for me he is an awesome creator because (like for many people) he actully inspired me to make levels.
Disagree with Ferdefunky, you focused too much on his old level, Traction. Have you seen his newer works? Also, I agree with Viprin, but he's a much better creator than most people, so I disagree partially.
ZelLink should be somewhere on this list, since he’s at 6th place on the creator leaderboard with 139 cp even though his levels are consistently terrible.
Cool vid, the only ones I disagree with are SirHadoken and Ferdefunky tbh because theyre actually both super unique, and ferdes levels have incredible detail now. But overall I really enjoyed your video! Next you should make a video of the top ten most underrated creators, it might be a bit of a challenge to find the lesser known good creators tho :)

Great commentary, however, I believe that these creators are people who enjoy what they build, and I personally think that as long as creators have fun building, every level can be a masterpiece :)
The design is atrocious, but the gameplay in his levels and even his layouts is fun and sometimes really chill. I don't think he deserves so much hate.
Just saying, I really like Danolex and Adiale and most of their levels have great gameplay and good enough design. Please PLEASE make an underrated creators list.
This is like you pledged into the inner sections of my mind and made them into a video, although, Danolex seems to show much more effort in his levels now, so I would say it is needed to replace him with Tama_N or something along those lines
Sometimes, you don't need to put too much effort to make a level look good. If you can control a nice atmosphere in your levels, you don't need crazy block designs and backgrounds. Danolex, GD Jose and SirHadoken are really good at that.

So this is really just my opinion but I don’t really think Adiale is technically considered as overrated because his levels are put in the gauntlets and they’re mostly really easy so it would be a target for inexperienced players that basically downloads and likes even mediocre stuff solely for the reason that they haven’t seen levels that are actually good because the good ones are usually harder. So basically he’s getting attention because his levels are RobTop’s generic and newbie-friendly. So technically he/she isn’t overrated because players who actually know enough about this game would know it’s not something to be loved.

Adiale discovered the simple style which was the generic style of mid-late 2.0. Those who copied his styles deserves to be disliked but not the discoverer himself. Also his levels have really smooth moving objects, which affected a tons of people.

Like seriously, why does the gameplay spike up in difficulty insanely harshly. Future funk II starts off as a 6 star, and the last part could be in an extreme demon. Yes, the level is an insane demon, but it is also 3.5 minutes. The average difficulty for a level of that length and rate should be about easy demon, not a freaking extreme, or 6 star.
Every creator here has actually changed a lot (except for Sweetdude and Ferris02). And tbh, Funkeh isn’t a bad level. It has pretty good deco and the moving objects are amazing
You're targeting people's levels from 2.0. This is 2.1; everyone has evolved from that 2.0 style. You're information about SirHadoken is very incorrect. Watch his streams and see how many hours - months he takes to make his levels.
Time doesnt mean effort. Take believer, for example. The effects are all EXTREMELY basic, to the point where I wouldn't even call them effects, and there is no proper block design that would've taken any effort to make. The stuff in the background (e.g. the clock thingies) are really simple and are copy+pasted a ton. There is really nothing redeeming about his levels, other than the fact that they look decent.
TruKave Co. Believer is a mashup of two levels from 1.9, of course it's not going to be crazy amazing (because it's outdated) like some of his newer 2.1 levels. I understand where you're coming from on that one, but SirHadoken did put effort into it. It took him hours of deleting and renewing parts of the level because he was didn't know if it was good enough. I also believe it's not one of his better levels, but this video mostly rants about how "little effort" these creators put into their levels. That's just how I see it :p
Gotta notice that legit everyone on this list is selected for “bad decoration” if you don’t believe me go back and look, he calls out every person for their decoration and says it sucks- Here’s a tip, a game or level doesn’t need good looks, it needs good gameplay. If your game or level looks amazing but plays terribly then what’s the point? Where as if it looks crap but plays well, it’ll get remembered cause it was fun, playable- I personally like lower decorated GD levels cause it’s less to look at and the gameplay is able to be directly focused on as opposed to being hidden behind hundreds of moving objects, flashing lights, rotating objects, etc.
I actually love the level ''promises'' it is relaxing... And as you say not much deceration, i actually love that. Just having a good view, and also chill music. :)

I don't understand the hate on low effort levels, even if a level has only minimal decorations and gameplay it doesn't mean the level isn't worth a feature. I do see your point though, the levels aren't that impressive but the salt in the video is pretty apparent (or maybe it's just wording). Hopefully, 2.2 comes soon.

GD Jose - I actually like his style. It's simple but that glittery/flashy feel is quite unique. However I agree that he uses these effects way too often. I wish he could try other styles too as he would have an opportunity to become a good creator.
Berkoo - I think he had some "non-generic" levels with a bit of art but not sure about that. I think he was okay, not amazing though. He was shining when GDW came out, now I don't see much from him.
Danolex - yeah, his levels were pretty repetitive back in 2.0 and early 2.1 but I noticed he is now trying to mess with more styles or art. He's slowly improving.
Ferris - welp, he was pretty popular in 1.9 but I agree, nothing amazing.
Viprin - if I remember correctly, Viprin kinda burnt out with making solo levels. IIRC his only solo 2.1 level was Iridescent. He mainly now focuses on megacollabs or on promoting some good levels. He's not the best creator but IMO he puts effort with finding levels that are really interesting and still unrated.
Sweetdude - I actually liked Syobon Action a lot. The gameplay was focusing on memory but every time I died at a trap, I literally just laughed. His other levels weren't that great but SA was indeed really fun (the sequel still decent but a bit less fun).
Adiale - here I kinda disagree with the fact he's "overrated" because he used to get a lot of hate for getting "easy rated levels". The thing is that most of the time he wasn't really expecting his levels to get rated that high. I don't think it's his fault that his style is pretty simplistic, it's more like RobTop overrating them, especially when GDW came out. His levels are decent but IMO half of these should be just rated, not featured to make it more fair. Now he kinda quit the game because he got sick of it.

But the reason sooo many people like Adieles levels, including me, is that they have great gameplay with simplistic design. His levels may not be the most decorated but are very fun to play and that's the most important thing in a level. I mean, he didn't get sooo many creator points for no reason, clearly players love his style. It's really annoying when people compere simplicity with lazy design, for me he is an awesome creator because (like for many people) he actully inspired me to make levels.

Cool vid, the only ones I disagree with are SirHadoken and Ferdefunky tbh because theyre actually both super unique, and ferdes levels have incredible detail now. But overall I really enjoyed your video! Next you should make a video of the top ten most underrated creators, it might be a bit of a challenge to find the lesser known good creators tho :)

Sometimes, you don't need to put too much effort to make a level look good. If you can control a nice atmosphere in your levels, you don't need crazy block designs and backgrounds. Danolex, GD Jose and SirHadoken are really good at that.

So this is really just my opinion but I don’t really think Adiale is technically considered as overrated because his levels are put in the gauntlets and they’re mostly really easy so it would be a target for inexperienced players that basically downloads and likes even mediocre stuff solely for the reason that they haven’t seen levels that are actually good because the good ones are usually harder. So basically he’s getting attention because his levels are RobTop’s generic and newbie-friendly. So technically he/she isn’t overrated because players who actually know enough about this game would know it’s not something to be loved.

Adiale discovered the simple style which was the generic style of mid-late 2.0. Those who copied his styles deserves to be disliked but not the discoverer himself. Also his levels have really smooth moving objects, which affected a tons of people.

Tbh I think JonathanGD is pretty overrated. Aside from future funk ii and butiti 3, his levels aren’t very good in my opinion.
Like seriously, why does the gameplay spike up in difficulty insanely harshly. Future funk II starts off as a 6 star, and the last part could be in an extreme demon. Yes, the level is an insane demon, but it is also 3.5 minutes. The average difficulty for a level of that length and rate should be about easy demon, not a freaking extreme, or 6 star.
I actually don't agree with Danolex, because his recent levels are made with quite a lot of effort! But I agree that Drippy Dub was a overrated level!
If everyone says no to Viprin's collab and they collab to Serpongw, that can put down Viprin from 1st place to 2nd.
Every creator here has actually changed a lot (except for Sweetdude and Ferris02). And tbh, Funkeh isn’t a bad level. It has pretty good deco and the moving objects are amazing
You're targeting people's levels from 2.0. This is 2.1; everyone has evolved from that 2.0 style. You're information about SirHadoken is very incorrect. Watch his streams and see how many hours - months he takes to make his levels.

Time doesnt mean effort. Take believer, for example. The effects are all EXTREMELY basic, to the point where I wouldn't even call them effects, and there is no proper block design that would've taken any effort to make. The stuff in the background (e.g. the clock thingies) are really simple and are copy+pasted a ton. There is really nothing redeeming about his levels, other than the fact that they look decent.
TruKave Co. Believer is a mashup of two levels from 1.9, of course it's not going to be crazy amazing (because it's outdated) like some of his newer 2.1 levels. I understand where you're coming from on that one, but SirHadoken did put effort into it. It took him hours of deleting and renewing parts of the level because he was didn't know if it was good enough. I also believe it's not one of his better levels, but this video mostly rants about how "little effort" these creators put into their levels. That's just how I see it :p

Gotta notice that legit everyone on this list is selected for “bad decoration” if you don’t believe me go back and look, he calls out every person for their decoration and says it sucks-
Here’s a tip, a game or level doesn’t need good looks, it needs good gameplay. If your game or level looks amazing but plays terribly then what’s the point? Where as if it looks crap but plays well, it’ll get remembered cause it was fun, playable- I personally like lower decorated GD levels cause it’s less to look at and the gameplay is able to be directly focused on as opposed to being hidden behind hundreds of moving objects, flashing lights, rotating objects, etc.

I don't understand the hate on low effort levels, even if a level has only minimal decorations and gameplay it doesn't mean the level isn't worth a feature.
I do see your point though, the levels aren't that impressive but the salt in the video is pretty apparent (or maybe it's just wording).
Hopefully, 2.2 comes soon.
