Would it be a good idea to use a toolbelt in the beginning if you get started as a hvac maintenance technician then upgrade to the toolbackpack when you have more tools to carry or have both ?
I started out with a husky tool bag that was about 10$ and just threw all my hand me down tools in it, I did you a tool belt for a little when I did new construction and installs, worked well for that! I’d say whatever your comfortable with will be a great option, they make a lot of really good bags in different sizes to meet what you need
I’m the opposite I can’t even pull out of my driveway unless the van is organized. I went through a phase of just throwing everything in and slam the door like a teenagers room.
@koolin'withKrauss, Hey man, great tour, if you don't mind, at the very beginning, you showed a tool I was not familiar with, like in the first drawer or second, if you can figure out which one I am talking about, can you tell me what it is and what it does? Thanks.
Was it the AC easy tee adapters? It always you to hook up a hose fitting and flush the line without it backing it up or creating a mess, also a 1/4” adapter. Allows for a good seal for drain lines. Hope that was it 👍🏻
Let me know how it goes the first time you use all your tools. 😅 Kidding, nice video man. If you had to pick 1 bag, which one you taking? I've got the big veto, the big milwaukee, and I hate em both. Tech MCT looks like a batter choice
Daaaang 😂 I do keep em clean that’s for sure. But the MCT blackout was my go to for past couple years. And was probably my top bag. I just rotated that to the MB5B, I have the backpack straps off right now. So many great options hard to pick.
What up Krauss!! Nice van tour wish I had one of those. You work for yourself? I thought I worked for a company? Just curious, if so how is it owning your own business? Peace ✌️
Nice set up, I don’t think I’ve seen my van that clean. After a busy week it looks like I was in a roll over accident 😂. 💪 stay Kool 💪 saw Curtis gave you shout out yesterday, Nice!
I’ve been there!! But getting better at just keeping it nice … to an extent 😂 appreciate ya my guy 🫡 right?! Lol I was like this is a shot in the dark … bam, ptcr
Can't wait to get my own to deck it out like that. I started a few years ago doing strictly install. Anyone knows, especially being the helper it's hard to keep your stuff clean and presentable. Lol Trying to slide my way over and do service now. We shall see! Sweet set up
Appreciate it!! Ru the helper currently or the lead?! When I was doing installs I had a dodge pro master and it was close to set up like this but I kept that thing clean and Pristine, as well as my tools man 😂 I was a tool douche then (still am but it’s just me lol)
@@KoolinwithKrauss Now I'm the lead installer. Been doing it for a little over then half the year. Not sure how you guys did your swap outs but when we do them typically we take out just about all the return plentum, refit a new trunk, return box for the furnace or AH then just about always redo the supply side as well. Probably overkill with how I've heard other techs talk about with other companies they worked for but it looks really good when it's all done and customers 95% of the time are really satisfied
@@hunters0922oh hell ya 💪🏻 that’s the way to do it!! As long as their being charged accordingly. Back when I did installs it was in Maryland so a lot of metal and was always new supply plenum and return drop, but with metal crush it right up! Keep grinding bro 🔥
Dude just found your TH-cam channel while laid up in bed with Covid. That shit is no joke man. I dodged Covid for 3 years and it caught up to me. Worked in 200+ homes with customers sick with Covid running No heat calls in winter and cooling calls during summer months. I did wear a N95 mask that must work. I stopped wearing one a year ago and bam it got me. Just wanted to say im digging your vids dude. I use to have super long hair and played in several heavy metal bands at nights and weekends. I just lost my best friend and side kick in business last year. He was my little brother and only sibling and he and i worked together for 37 years installing HVAC systems. I have been working alone now for past year and without my little brother who was 6' 4" tall im f...g lost man. Gonna most most likely just start subbing out all my HVAC installs and stick with sales and service. Started my own 2 man HVAC shop 37 years ago with my brother while we both played in heavy metal bands at nights and weekends. Gonna lay here in bed sick as a dog and binge on your vids man lol. My brother and i started a band called MYSTIC-FORCE in 1983 and up until my brothers passing he still had the band going. Keep Rocking Dude Peace \,,/\,,/
Man!! Blessings dude, hope peace can find you through such a tough time!! I’ve had covid twice (tested for anyways) first time knocked me down for 2 weeks lost 20 lbs, was no joke I started to clean my hands after using gas pump and all 😂 that’s badass dude with the band, I could only imagine the stories yall had on some shows and all. Dude 37 years 🫡 hats off to you man, knowing 1-2 man op is sustainable that’s epic!! We would do some installs here, I’m basically a 1.5 man op at this time and was subbing out most the installs but take them on now for the most part! If you can vm find a really reliable team I think it could be very beneficial for you 👍🏻 I appreciate you subscribing and commenting dude!! Hope for a speedy recovery 🙏🏻
@@c_young-hvac4586 bro yes!!! When I worked with my dad he had a Silverado with the reading bed was sweet! A neighbor of mine has a gmc double cap with the reading and ridgid box in the back , clean Af boiii. But u should definitely do it 💯
Unreal van man. Very organized. Must make things much more efficient. Well done.
Anthony 🫡 much appreciated!! It really does help tho!
nicely organized. keep acetylene bottles vertical, after a little while you will get liquid instead of gas out of them or a bottle failure
Appreciate that, great ip thanks for that!
Very good video, organize and complete stock in your truck
Much appreciated 🙏
Sweet set up!
Much appreciated 🫡
It's so nice to pull up to a job knowing that you have virtually everything covered in the van ... Nice set-up Jake ... Thx

Nice! I just got me a nv200 for my small engine repair.
The nv200 is solid!! I had one for about 6 months.
@@KoolinwithKrauss Did you add plywood to your floor to screw the packout base?
Very well organized

Do you carry replacement equipment in this van as well for install jobs or do you use a different vehicle?
All on this one!
Way to organized I could never work in that environment..I would lose my mind lol😂

Krauss. How did you secure Packout to the floor?
Used 2” 5/16 self tapers!!
You should show you roof set up
Ohhh that’s right!! Totally missed it! I’ll try to up date it! Thanks
Where did you get the racking? Was it part of the van or something you added? I like the setup.
