Driving the Savannah Way - Burketown to Hells Gate

We start off at Burketown showing you guys around the key attractions, then we hit the Savannah Way a famous Australian touring route heading west ending up at Hells Gate a remote iconic outback Australian roadhouse where we roll out our swag and call it camp for the night.

Great episode I drank in the old Burke town pub over 30 years ago Bit of a shock not seeing any more .the town looks really nice now

@4solitude355 yer hook a boat up for next time the last time I went threw to Borroloola the road was realy bad with corrugations not far after hells gate beautiful country there

Just wondering how long ago this was, we are heading that way soon and wondered how the roads are

We were there on the 17th of June 2023. The roads in my opinion were pretty good. Water crossings were all quite low. Just remember to let your tires down on the dirt. You are going to love it!! Have a blast 👍
