But the more you play it and mess around, the more you discover little strategies to make each choke point easier, or skip them entirely. Makes for a really unique experience beating the level which I actually really enjoyed
coming from a players perspective, avernus is actually pretty fun when youre able to play it and the "fixed hitboxes" aside from like 3 are not really noticable in the level because u rarely die to them silent clubstep has very bad chokepoints such as 15 25 65 72 and horrible balancing like the predrop being almost all of the difficulty in the level aside from 65 and 72
I believe the main reason people voted for the nightmare, theory of Skrillex, B, Nine circles and so on are just bc they are popular and so people already know they exist and don't put thought into the survey.

Sidestep is not a bad level, but the fact that it's the very first level of a gauntlet that the game highly encourages you to play, and it's one of the hardest easy demons makes it incredibly frustrating. Still a skill issue (I still haven't beaten it either)
I bet B as my first medium demon in ~2.5k att, overall I has an amazing time with it. It has gameplay that flows, good music sync, such fun deco, and a banger song. I can't comprehend how one could say this level isn't a masterpiece.
The issue is people call levels ”bad” just because they dont have a good experience with them. There are amazing levels that ive had atrocius experiences with like bloodbath and heart attack. People just need to understand that your experience doesnt correlate with the quality of the level objectively. A common level that falls victim to this is sidestep and sure I didnt enjoy my time with it back when I beat it but I never considered it a bad level by any means

5:24 Also that video doesn’t show it but there’s now a bug there where if you just hit the pad you die to the ceiling so you have to move to the ceiling then land on the jump pad making it really annoying
As a guy with Dance Massacre as a hardest, sidestep and B are just skill issues from these guys, I used to hate sidestep when I first tried it, then dropped it, came to it after getting better and it was so much fun.
I feel next time you make one of these community vote videos you should ask what the persons hardest is. I genuinely feel majority of the votes were “I’m bad at the game so imma hate on this level”. If the hardest is a hard demon for example and they’re saying some insane demon that’s really popular is the worst then it shouldn’t be added to the total number

Insanity is MUCH worse and more difficult, so why is it not placed?) B (I CANNOT COMMENT ON THIS) Fairydust Jawbreaker Nine Circles (Really fun Nine Circles levels! I didn't beat Headrush, Classical and Sweet Dreams, but I practised them and they are WAY worse. If the levels are placed on the list because of skill issue, why not Sharp Minor and Psychosis?) Theory of Skrillex and Project J should probably not be on the list as well, but I didn't beat them and I am not sure. The worst Extreme Demon is probably Checked Steam by Gruzzy (everybody gives it 0/10 or 1/10 enjoyment) The worst Insane and Extreme demons list are very reasonable.

This is probably the worst demon bossfight I've every played 1.Silhouette- the predrop makes you fall asleep and the drop is really unbalanced. The click pattern are also very awkward and the dual has barely visible structures. I haven't played many insane demons so for a one that's the worst I'll just pick poltergeist since its extremely unbalanced and I died twice to the last jump The only extreme that I completed is cataclysm so I can't speak of those

The first half of Sidestep is pretty akward with the main problem being the really stupid orb spams at 24% and 42%, after that it gets significantly better and is actually pretty fun
As a player who’s beaten many easy to insane demons I’ve beaten much worse levels. Levels like sidestep, hell, fairydust, nine circles, jawbreaker, theory of skrillex are just plain skill issue. I will admit B kind of irritated me a little bit maybe because I got unlucky with it. Can’t let troll is surprisingly fun when you get consistent. As for ice cream and xyz step infinity it’s 100% deserved, I’ve beaten the latter and I’d say it’s much enjoyable than doing a single practice run on ice cream. Love baba is understandable it’s boring and has an inconsistent transition at the drop. Invisible deadlocked is fair. ICDX is another skill issue it’s really fun ngl. As for extremes I’m not the right person to judge those gameplays as they are not in my skill range.

The reason for B being on this list has to be the end cube. The last inputs are completely timing based, and if you mess up, it’s frustrating. But the level is so consistent and chill that you can get back there. Did B for my second Medium in 200 attemps and found it to be really fun. I think it might just be a skill issue.
I think B is so hated because of how unbalanced it is. When I was grinding the level I was consistently passing the first half, but then died a lot either on the ball part or the 2nd "bossfight". Also the green orbs at the end are kinda janky
As someone who genuinely hate Jawbreaker, here's my answer : - The predrop is super easy, and it's not hard getting far each attempt... To the point you feel like you're making 0 progress - The first half of the wave is really annoying, spam in a few places, but overall is the best part of the level - The second half of the wave, however, is a crime by itself. Buggy af (bad gravity portal alignments), stupid spams again, awkward clicks... It's the definition of bad gp for me
@@ZthunderGD I've beaten Jawbreaker as my second Hard Demon and I LOVE this level so here is my explaination to why this is the BEST NC level : - The Predrop is actually the main reason why this level is goated, not too long, not too hard and fun to learn and play. There's no chokepoints in the predrop either, that's litteraly the definition of a perferct predrop. If you're dying right at the start of the wave it's really a gigantic skill issue... - The first half of the wave is very consistent, has no chokepoints and the "spammy" parts are litteraly 2-3 clicks wtf bro the average cps is 7 💀💀💀 - I mean this is the only place in which there are true chokepoints for beginners like 69% (Tight wave then akward portal placements), 82% (Micro click) Alright I get it... but the "spams" are still 2-3 clicks lmao
Jawbreaker being on here is a crime. I used to hate NC but it has grown on me a bit since I beat it. Still I never thought it was the worst hard demon. I've never beaten fairydust but it doesn't feel that bad tbh. The only issue I have with it is its lack of originality (it literally just feels like buffed NC).

I genuinly just find HeLL to be insufferable to play, the gameplay is extremely annoying and just straight up badly made I am far from a bad player btw, my hardest may be a Medium Demon but I have 85% on Jawbreaker and Super Mario Wave in 3 runs (46%, 40-76 and 75-100)
WHY IS B ON HERE, THATS MY FIRST MEDIUM DEMON, AND I LOVE IT. there are some parts that are a nightmare like the 60% ball, the last wave, the 47% robot, BUT BESIDES THAT, WHOEVER PUT B ON THERE IS A NERD WHO HAS A SKILL ISSUE LOOL
If you were to do more videos like this in the future, I would try asking more experts in the field because this isn’t the worst levels it’s just a laundry list of some popular levels. There are some truly awful levels in this game that people just don’t know because they are not popular. Ask the demongrinders they will give you better and more interesting answers
I've died to 87% on Nine Circles twice now and I was upset about it but it's still one of my favorite levels in the entire game, so I don't understand why so many people hate it.
I think the reason fairydust is on here is because of the duals, especially the first one because most of the time it'a not gonna be symmetrical because you barely get enough time for the waves totouch the floor/ceiling in order to become symmetrical, which makes it a very annoying chokepoint.
Crazy how people hate Avernus for nothing. In reality there is not much fixed hitbox and believe it or not but it is the 2nd most appreciated level of the entire top 10 according to the players who have completed it below tidal wave so people who say it’s bad are just sheep.
You should check out the GDDL and make another video about this topic and see the differences. You can see the worst of each type by the ratings since every person on there who beats it has to submit a rating and then you can sort by worst average score
I beat Jawbreaker today and absolutely loved it. You’re absolutely right, the wave is so much fun and the music sync with the gravity portals is so satisfying. Genuinely loved it as a level, no clue how people can hate it.
the reason is, not many people is a demon hunter or demon grinder,, so yeah ,they prob vote something that they know, instead of what they actually play it
I did The Lightning Road as my 1st demon and I really enjoyed it. My only problem with it is the spikes Timeless chose had glow on the bottom which doesn't look very good, and the orb spam at the end because... well, the creator maybe could've just done maybe 4 orbs to the end of the level, but the ending is fine as is.

3.Crazy-the spider spam just ruined my experience. The ending is also a big choke
2.Nowise- the gaunlet level that I can actually call bad. This is probably the worst demon bossfight I've every played
1.Silhouette- the predrop makes you fall asleep and the drop is really unbalanced. The click pattern are also very awkward and the dual has barely visible structures.
I haven't played many insane demons so for a one that's the worst I'll just pick poltergeist since its extremely unbalanced and I died twice to the last jump
The only extreme that I completed is cataclysm so I can't speak of those

The first half of Sidestep is pretty akward with the main problem being the really stupid orb spams at 24% and 42%, after that it gets significantly better and is actually pretty fun
As a player who’s beaten many easy to insane demons I’ve beaten much worse levels. Levels like sidestep, hell, fairydust, nine circles, jawbreaker, theory of skrillex are just plain skill issue. I will admit B kind of irritated me a little bit maybe because I got unlucky with it. Can’t let troll is surprisingly fun when you get consistent. As for ice cream and xyz step infinity it’s 100% deserved, I’ve beaten the latter and I’d say it’s much enjoyable than doing a single practice run on ice cream. Love baba is understandable it’s boring and has an inconsistent transition at the drop. Invisible deadlocked is fair. ICDX is another skill issue it’s really fun ngl. As for extremes I’m not the right person to judge those gameplays as they are not in my skill range.

Nine circles on this list is unbelievable
The reason for B being on this list has to be the end cube. The last inputs are completely timing based, and if you mess up, it’s frustrating. But the level is so consistent and chill that you can get back there. Did B for my second Medium in 200 attemps and found it to be really fun. I think it might just be a skill issue.

I think B is so hated because of how unbalanced it is. When I was grinding the level I was consistently passing the first half, but then died a lot either on the ball part or the 2nd "bossfight". Also the green orbs at the end are kinda janky

As someone who genuinely hate Jawbreaker, here's my answer :
- The predrop is super easy, and it's not hard getting far each attempt... To the point you feel like you're making 0 progress
- The first half of the wave is really annoying, spam in a few places, but overall is the best part of the level
- The second half of the wave, however, is a crime by itself. Buggy af (bad gravity portal alignments), stupid spams again, awkward clicks... It's the definition of bad gp for me

@@ZthunderGD I've beaten Jawbreaker as my second Hard Demon and I LOVE this level so here is my explaination to why this is the BEST NC level :
- The Predrop is actually the main reason why this level is goated, not too long, not too hard and fun to learn and play. There's no chokepoints in the predrop either, that's litteraly the definition of a perferct predrop. If you're dying right at the start of the wave it's really a gigantic skill issue...
- The first half of the wave is very consistent, has no chokepoints and the "spammy" parts are litteraly 2-3 clicks wtf bro the average cps is 7 💀💀💀
- I mean this is the only place in which there are true chokepoints for beginners like 69% (Tight wave then akward portal placements), 82% (Micro click) Alright I get it... but the "spams" are still 2-3 clicks lmao
Jawbreaker being on here is a crime.
I used to hate NC but it has grown on me a bit since I beat it. Still I never thought it was the worst hard demon.
I've never beaten fairydust but it doesn't feel that bad tbh. The only issue I have with it is its lack of originality (it literally just feels like buffed NC).
The entire original nine circles trilogy all being among the worst hard demons is disastrous

the rage for B comes from the fact that its recommended so much as an easy medium demon but its so hard for some people
I especially remember having a hard time with B but a much easier time with Bismarck, I think it just depends on what you're good at.

I am far from a bad player btw, my hardest may be a Medium Demon but I have 85% on Jawbreaker and Super Mario Wave in 3 runs (46%, 40-76 and 75-100)

If you were to do more videos like this in the future, I would try asking more experts in the field because this isn’t the worst levels it’s just a laundry list of some popular levels. There are some truly awful levels in this game that people just don’t know because they are not popular. Ask the demongrinders they will give you better and more interesting answers
I've died to 87% on Nine Circles twice now and I was upset about it but it's still one of my favorite levels in the entire game, so I don't understand why so many people hate it.

I think the reason fairydust is on here is because of the duals, especially the first one because most of the time it'a not gonna be symmetrical because you barely get enough time for the waves totouch the floor/ceiling in order to become symmetrical, which makes it a very annoying chokepoint.
Crazy how people hate Avernus for nothing. In reality there is not much fixed hitbox and believe it or not but it is the 2nd most appreciated level of the entire top 10 according to the players who have completed it below tidal wave so people who say it’s bad are just sheep.
The Nightmare in my opinion is definitely not a skill issue for me.

You should check out the GDDL and make another video about this topic and see the differences. You can see the worst of each type by the ratings since every person on there who beats it has to submit a rating and then you can sort by worst average score
I beat Jawbreaker today and absolutely loved it. You’re absolutely right, the wave is so much fun and the music sync with the gravity portals is so satisfying. Genuinely loved it as a level, no clue how people can hate it.

I did The Lightning Road as my 1st demon and I really enjoyed it. My only problem with it is the spikes Timeless chose had glow on the bottom which doesn't look very good, and the orb spam at the end because... well, the creator maybe could've just done maybe 4 orbs to the end of the level, but the ending is fine as is.
