Launching The Legal Empowerment Fund

Two-thirds of the world's population are unable to meaningfully access justice. When their rights are denied, that means they have nowhere to turn for help.
So we've partnered with our funders and allies the Mott Foundation, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, Namati, the IDRC, and Pathfinders to launch the Legal Empowerment Fund (LEF). The LEF will support grassroots justice defenders working to ensure their communities know their rights and can access justice.
