I love these types of guest, especially if he isnt a BIG name like Briere in the org, hearing more of the finer details about what the organizatiom does as far as development is amazing. I think this might be one kf my favorite interviews you guys have done

Very interesting interview. You guys covered many subjects. As you know, when talking about jobs in the hockey world, if you are likeable and have something to offer an organization, this case the Flyers organization, you will get an opportunity to continue with the organization, once your playing days are over. I thought it was funny when Riles got a phone call from Danny, was preparing to unlock his briefcase and Hommer asked him a couple of questions and gave him an opportunity, never digging out his detailed notes, while being very nervous. It is great that he has been able to move in different directions with the team.

luca sbisa works for the sharks organization in player development. he still lives in nashville with his family, but he flies around the country to watch each defenseman in the sharks system and goes over tape with them. lots of sharks D prospects use him as a resource and speak really highly of him.

With Luchanko and Michkov, the Flyers need a top 6 power forward type pretty badly.. I'd say our PP malaise the past couple of years is partially due to that as well.

I agree but on a much simpler level, I think our PP has just been too... safe for lack of a better word, you had noone taking risky shots, pushing to get into tough positions... we make a perimeter and pass for 1 minute take a shot, it gets cleared, and maybe take one more shot on the rush

Talking about club hockey in America shows some insight into why College players are the way they are now.
