I love the fact that the SNES and Genesis are getting new games. some of them really amazing. someone should re release these consoles with some technical updates (simple things to improve the performance).
The game is cute, but it's not my thing. As the Mega Drive today is a console aimed at a mature audience with memories of the 90s, I find this type of release somewhat foolhardy, at least for physical media production.
Seems okay, but not really my cup of tea. Seems also kinda like it would've been a 6/10 or so game back in the game. Definitely 'not' comparable to a legendary game like RKA or even the sequels.
Looks good it’s a easy pick up and play game style which I can enjoy with my wife also my god daughter has level 1 mildly autism and she enjoys playing this style of game
A perfect dose of cuteness for megadrive collectors. It’s like a simplified version of Magic Pockets… but tea & biscuits instead of toffee, chocolate and candy 🍭 🍫 🍬 Thanks for sharing!
@@therealbad-TCL sadly I refuse to pay 20euros delivery for a £40 game no matter how good it is that's just ridiculous, I got my astro city mini delivered from Japan for about $5 and there only over the English channel clearly making a side line on delivery's come to think of it I paid £8 for astebros and same for demons of asteborg delivery and there from the same country so go figure!
Looks like a fun game Mike thanks for showcasing it. Visuals gave me Zool or James Pond 2 vibes. Too bad they didn't have vocals for the theme song. I'll definitely be looking into it though!
There are plenty of other channels out there for you to enjoy. I do my reviews objectively, not based on what I would like. Also with my dev background I review all elements based on their merits.
I think this is one of the most Mega Drive'ish games I've seen from an indie dev hahaha I can also envision a Master System version of it. It seems easily portable to that system.
Well, what's more English than a flying panda bear??? A flying panda that like tea and biscuits, that's what!... Except that I noticed he'd rather burn his toast than enjoy it with beans😮💨 *tsk-tsk* How disappointing.
Stop it Mike, my wallet can only take so much abuse.
😂
You had us at Panda...but then you REALLY had me at the mention of biscuits. Yes please.
Love the extra bits like the pin and stickers (magnets!).
We need to send you a supply of English biscuits/cookies.
@@RetroGamerBoy I believe you already have our address. 😁
It reminds me of Super Alfred Chicken on the SNES because of the colors and cuteness. I used to love Super Alfred Chicken when I was a kid.
Oh ya I remember that game.
I'll have to think about it. I think the game looks much better on a CRT.
Most games look better on CRT
Seizures
And diabetes
So most of the new releases for sega are tengen level dreck or something you'd get for free somewhere and never plays.
A community and support for it can only grow and thrive if people are willing to stick with it.

This is the new Neptune on the way.

I've been playing with my young son. But yes the game skews younger.

Take a biscuit with it, tea is always nicer that way
It's a solid fun game but not one of the big AAA games. There will be people out there that will love playing this.
Looks good it’s a easy pick up and play game style which I can enjoy with my wife also my god daughter has level 1 mildly autism and she enjoys playing this style of game
That's awesome 👍

I like that comparison.
Yeah not really my thing, I'll wait for Earthion:)
Fair enough, it's great to see so many different games being made.
Thanks for the review! And yes of course we're both British!😂
Congratulations on the game. My son and daughter are addicted to it.
@@RetroGamerBoy oh that's nice, thanks 😃
Hello, the kickstarter of "the cursed legacy" genesis is here, let's go !
Yes it is.

It's a fun little title.
Looks very good Mike. I personally never heard of the game before, but I have to admit it looks fun to play. 8^)
Anthony..
It's a fun little game for sure Anthony.
This game is shit, why do u like ALL new games on sega? We need truly recommendations

Those aren't pandas you are rescuing. They are badgers. Check the end of level stats when you get to the exit.
Well there you go.😁👍
Wonder if they were inspired by the old fox biscuit advert with the gangster panda?
Oh ya, I remember those.
Reminds me a little of Fantasy Zone, like in the bosses. Love the animation and coloring.
Ohh that's a good comparison.
Flicky but with pandas. Nice
That's a great comparison.
@@RetroGamerBoy Thanks💯
Party Rings 😎
🤔😱
Great game, but only 3 musics? Why?
It's a smaller game made by 2 people. I guess they did not have the time.
Getting a CodeMaster/James Pond 3 vibe. I like it 😊
New Zealand Story
@@helmutstransky3761yeah, definitely 👍
As someone pointed out in the comments here, it has a New Zealand Story vibe about it, And I do love myself a bit of NZS!
Definitely feeling James pond from the art style.
Yup it's definitely in the same vein as those games.
Cup of tea? Damn, straight.
😂
Hope to see a sequel on Dreamcast some day!
I'm sure there will be.
That intro is seizure inducing.
At least you'll know if you need to seek medical help.😂
Meh, this would have been one of those $20-30 games back in the day.
There's something for everyone.
That panda looks awfully artificial
Embrace the future or risk being left behind.
That biscuit my friend is a 'Party Ring'.
Or Iced Ring
@@ObsessiveGeek I thought that was what you got if you had sat down for too long on a cold day!
@@ennahh76 in that case “party ring” takes on a whole new meaning
Yup, that's them.
👍

Yes that would be great.
This one looks fun, A good game for us old-timers to get our kids into The mega drive 😂
👍
Truthfully......this game sucks👎🏾 bro and I am a die hard Genesis fan
@@RetroManiac7777 have you played it?
It's probably more that it's not a game for you. My kids have been loving it.

A missed opportunity there😁
