    "So many people have incredibly unhealthy habits today because they never realized that they developed short-term valuation strategies to protect themselves from judgment that hit them in their youth. So, today, they keep making short-term decisions for themselves and they don’t know why.”
    “So often, our old judgments slow down our speed today.”
    "If we don’t learn to let go or forgive - ourselves or other people from past circumstances - then we’re not free today. And if we don’t feel free today […] we don’t make long-term decisions.”
    “If you haven’t ever done the work to forgive the people in your life that need to be forgiven - not because they need to be forgiven, but because you deserve freedom - do the work."
    ___
    Thank you for these huge AHA-moments, Brendon! They really hit home!

    Best way to stop being judgemental is to go through your own SHIZ. After going through 2 divorces, the death of a child, bankruptcy, being raped and healing from codependency I received a huge amount of judgement. Had to get to a point where I have to be my own judge and disconnect from the judgement of others. When I focus on loving others and loving myself, judgement disappears. Judgement is toxic, on both sides. Thanks Brendon.

    The type of self-care, mentor-ship, self-reflection and healing that most people need, is not something that comes overnight. With so many distractions and habits (blinders) that people have...man, I don’t think most people realize that this work takes time, coaches, therapists etc. When I think of the attention and support team it takes to affect real change, it makes me feel a deep compassion for all those people in our society that won’t have the kind of dedicated time or attention to their self-development necessary for a self-actualized life. I think this should be part of our education and health system but with qualified teachers, coaches and mental health providers that are radically accessible to all regardless of socioeconomic identity. We all deserve it. But yes, I love the episode and you’re right. Its also necessary to clear the past in order for there to be space for clarity to unfold.

    • @automationmasteryforcoache6368
      @automationmasteryforcoache6368 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So right on this. It all varies. Sometimes change happens in a moment. Sometimes a series of moments. People like ourselves need to just be part of the solution for those closest to us and that will help make a difference.

    • @lukaskkramer
      @lukaskkramer 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@automationmasteryforcoache6368 You're right, we all can be role models for the people closest to us to create ripple effects outward!

    • @lukaskkramer
      @lukaskkramer 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      OMG, things would have been SO different if personal development were actually a part of the education system - even just a small one. But I believe, in order to really start this process of change, we need to begin by being better friends, partners, co-workers, parents, leaders, to the people closest to us. We need to inspire a new sense of responsibility and agency!

    Greetings from Chicago, youre right about this!!! Ty!!!😍❤🥳🥳 I AM GUILTY!!! OUUUUUCH AND AAAAAMEN!!! I really needed to hear this and i need to release correctly and healthy!! God bless you 🙏 ❤. Its just that judgement on facts that these were real life situations happening in real time,that its hard not to call it what it was or is,and when the offender doesn't correctly acknowledge offensiveness it makes it harder to forgive and forget. Im learning though,because its true that it is all about being free indeed!!

Lots of times I think I have forgiven and then realize that I still think about, tell about, complain about, feel hurt about what I thought I'd forgiven; so I guess I haven't actually done it yet.

    Rational judgement is different from irrational judgement. In flying poor judgement can crash you in mili seconds...when in love, poor judgement of personality can take you to slow death over a period of time...its not about forgiving...its about healing..how fast,how much and how many times you can heal yourself and get up.High performers heal themselves fast.There are irrational thumb warriors but also there are also rational thumb warriors,they have reasons and evidences for getting angry, else there would not have been a court and a judge sitting on human planet.If in a flight a pilot has to put the landing gear down at a specific approach path...there is no question of not lowering it down at that point...it is life of many people depending on that lever...similarly if a webpage has to work at a particular time,it has to work ...there is no question of a technical surprise...it may be someone's life's biggest decision connected to that webpage or video content on that day. Unfortunate is not a word from professionals..there is a system,standing operating procedures and implementation instructions and methodologies,the checklists,the emergency procedures in the hands of the pilot...still if things crash because of human error and unprofessional approach...it is criminal and forgiveness is not the answer...because he failed in a rational judgement. Irrational judgements can be forgiven...the way I keep forgiving the cat down the road...regards.
