    Australia is so proud of Mary. Beautiful, respected, educated, terrific mother & wife, & most of all, one day she will be the Queen of Denmark, country that still can’t believe that their beloved Frederick did his best coming to Australia for the Olympics in 2000 where he met Mary. God bless them & help them in their one day awesome task of running their Country. And.. extra note: the fur that Queen Margrette wears nowadays perhaps was confectioned many years ago, as I believe this type of hunting is not allowed in Denmark anymore, so think instead of the juicy steaks, shoes & leather paraphernalia that that you use everyday.

    • @krisushi1
      @krisushi1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So, instead of using the skins that come from endless animals around the world that are used for food, you'd rather they just rot away and be wasted! Do not presume to tell me just what I should eat as I'm quite happy eating meat whether white or red. If animals are going to be killed, not only for food but when culling becomes necessary, it is despicable to waste that animal when it's skin can be used for quality clothing, shoes, handbags or other accessories. Who made you responsible for what is done with any animals that are killed for many different reasons? How irresponsible to kill an animal for food but leave every other item that can be used from this animal to rot away! In my State of Victoria in Australia it is legal to kill foxes as they are a pest, as are rabbits. What is wrong with using the pelts of foxes that are killing other animals and cattle in a most violent manner? Never preach to others when you can't even get your facts correct. How is it a crime to use rabbit fur on a trim or fox fur when they are a pest which will be killed anyway. There is a big difference between what Mary is stating compared to your tirade accusing anyone who eats meat or wears leather as being evil. Research first before making accusations you obviously know nothing about.

    Mary has still kept our hometown accent [Hobart Tasmania], when she speaks English. She has never had a broad Australian accent but a distinct regional accent which is much softer than mainland Australian regional accents .

    • @krisushi1
      @krisushi1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Just to clarify, I was born and raised in Melbourne. I moved to Regional Victoria when 27yrs. I have never had a broad accent and many think that I have a New Zealand/UK accent. It's not necessarily about where you live but how you were taught to speak and pronunciate. I haven't heard Mary speak English for some time now and was pleasantly surprised to hear her Australian accent still coming through. If only the media focused on the great things that she is doing and not on that trash couple who have dumped all those despicable lies on the British Throne. How blessed Denmark is for accepting such an incredible woman of integrity into their fold.

      @@krisushi1 I very much like Mary Elizabeth Donaldson. She is a precious addition to the royal family of Denmark. She is fluent in Danish, and can interact with the Danish people. She is in a close relationship with the Queen of Denmark. By adapting to the country of Denmark, Mary Elizabeth Donaldson shows an evidence of her intelligence. I liked her from the day of her wedding. She was so full of confidence. She was no stranger to the royal family

    Mary has immersed herself in her new life and very much in the things she believes in. This video shows how she is very aware of the impact of Covid19 on the fashion industry, which provides women in Bangladesh (and other countries) with a way to support their families. I am impressed that Mary has given her priviledge and intellect to support such causes.

  • @krisushi1
    @krisushi1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +20

    Mary has brought up a great point. When we shop for fashion goods, we should be looking at how the item is made, where it is made and under what conditions, equality in pay, sustainability, ethics, re-usable items that can be altered or the fabrics initially used to make them which can be re-made into something else. In this day of waste and over spending, we need to look at other ways to view what fashion is. Some think it's about buying the most expensive brands whereas others, like myself, see that it's about so much more. I take so much pride and satisfaction in making my own clothing or designing and creating the most amazing knitwear designs. I'm not in the financial position to pay anywhere close to full priced items that are designed in Australia yet made in China with shocking lack of quality. Yet I do own a massive wardrobe of clothing, even one of a kind, especially a great range of leather designs plus beautifully made imported shoes etc. It's just a matter of being responsible and researching what each brand does and where the items are made, as well as comparing prices. Fashion is so much more than just buying from the most expensive of brands who are only in the game for profit. It's class, style, plenty of thought put in to making you look your best. Fashion is what you make it and how you wear it to make you feel your very best!

On top of that she is aware of the challenges and benefits that the workers who 80% are women, are facing and gaining respectively. I hope by directing the spotlight to those amazing workers, the related companies can take steps to improve the salary and working condition in the factories too. Love you Queen Mary ❤

At one point , supporting myself through Academic's was trained in New York via Revelon Cosmetics , as make up Artist, manager as skin consultant. Ended up working East and West. Believe these Industries can do so much for Women. Did for me. Now, return fully to Art, and environment issues. Princess Mary developed the theme of the challenges facing the Fashion Industry, given the need to ensure the sustainability of the Earth, the need to protect the environment and preserve the natural resources that are scarce. Prince Mary spoke of the need to create value and do business in a different way, and with a lot of sense of reality Princess Mary said that changes will not happen overnight, be will be achieved in the long term, but that is urgent to start this process, with the advantage that , nowadays many consumers themselves are also demanding it . An intelligent and lucid intervention by Princess Mary, done in a slow, calm and enlightening way , as is Princess Mary’ characteristic way of doing it. Congratulations Princess Mary for the intelligent and realistic way you think and expose the diverse themes that are proposed to you.

I was surprised that Mary and Frederick were not invited to the wedding of William and Kate despite Queen Margrethe II attending alone. I don't know if both couples interact but they very much used to last century when the Danes and British would often holiday together. It would appear that these two families would get one well and I can only hope they do. There is a slight age difference between then but not that much. The British Royal Family don't seem to have much to do with European Royalty, in the public arena anyway. I'd like to see them interact.

    Fantastic leadership. Very proud her Australian/Scottish roots and she is still pretty level headed. Hope that she can put her role to good use. Maybe bouncing off Princess of Wales Early Years and Mental Health strategies. Queen Mary could use her Tasmanian roots to look at "slow days, digital detox and nature play" for young people and adults. Nordic cultures have Hykke welcoming home (especially in winter months) to counter Seasonal Affective Disorders (SAD) and in general slow time movement (books, nature, wanderlust). We can only hope she can be this use her time in Australia and her parents experience of Scotland and the World as embracing the globe in all it's potential. She has our curiosity and hopefully like William and Katherine they will do amazing things with it for her children's generations to whom we owe all our thoughts. Well done Queen Mary.

She is mother to two princes and two princesses, one of whom will be a future monarch of Denmark. Much of her work is for the betterment of women and children. Have you got a problem with that!?
