I'm always glad to watch your reviews. Not only are they crispy 4K, but thorough and unbiased. The latter being really important to me. Sometimes I use your vids to see 4k crispiness on my TV. QUESTION: Are there any video quality or gaming quality differences between the A75L and A80L? What OLED beats them in a 55 inch?
LG G3 or Sony A80L in 65" if they are close enough in pricing? Only to be used for OTT streaming & youtube. Need right balance of image and sound (without soundbar for now).
hello, congratulations for your channel, but you help a lot with your advice, I would like to ask you which of the two models is better Sony A80L OLED vs Sony A90J OLED
I run Destiny 2 on a .5ms response time monitor. The game runs at 60hz. I just recently bought this tv. How much different will the game run on this? I play on ps5
It’s a shame Compare to what competition offering. If you looking for gaming look at something else LG C3 is amazing. I have a 3 years Old LG CX and it’s way much better than my Crappy Sony TV A80L with Only 2 HDMI 2.1 wich one is an eArc. 😂 what a shame on Sony… unbelievable cheap on features.
Sony is a little bit darker and LG has slightly lower input lag. However, you won't see any differences between them. Both of them are really good for gaming. I have A80L and i'll not change it on another.
@@Melekhov8800same planning to buy tv but confused between c3 and a80l . Mainly for gaming and some movies . Have u faced any heating issues with a80 l while gaming or any lag?
Great video man. I love sony tvs because of the reality creation and bravia core imax movies. Do you think this the is better than the A80J ? Thats the last sony OLED i had.
Only 2 hdmi 2.1 ports is unforgivable. It’s a deal breaker for me. One of the ports is the earc which is used by the soundbar. So it’s really only one 2.1 hdmi. Pass
First lol I love my a80l for everything I’ve used it for so far but I haven’t gamed you on it yet edit 11/19 I’ve had my a80l since launch and it’s been awesome BUT. Now that I have a ps5 my mind has completely changed on this tv especially if you use a avr hooked up to this tv and care about having Dolby vision . Apparently if you run your ps5 though your avr to a Sony tv you can not have allm and vrr on and get Dolby vision at the same time which I find a complete fail on Sonys part the only way I could remedy the situation was to hook up the ps5 directly to my tv which is dumb as I got my avr to run everything through that . I’m sooo mad 😡
The later is for compatibility reasons. Many older HDMI 1.0-1.4 give a strange output when the TV expects a 4K signal. Defaulting it to compatibility mode means fewer angry "reviews" by people trying to connect this to a VCR. (Also, it is *literally* how every HDMI 2.0 and above TV ships unless both the TV and device support HDMI-CEC and HDCP 2.2 which will usually auto-negotiates a 2.0 or 2.1 input setting.)
@tim3172 Well hdmi 2.0 or 2.1, Sony does not have 4k enabled out the box. I work for geeksquad and many people literally have there Sony's stuck in standard format. It's quite hilarious getting paid to change a few settings in peoples homes. But yrs ago, when I wasn't familiar with tvs...I had to look up why my 900e wasn't blowing me away. No other company from my understanding has this issue, but I may be wrong
Woled ancient tech now, lol. But hey, Sony is still Sony, I'd get this over the C3... but honestly better get the A95L next year when it's discounted. QD-Oled is just too good to pass now - the colors are next level.
Worst Gaming Budget ‘’gaming’’ it’s no budget, it’s average for gaming and good for movies and upscaling. This absolutely not bright it’s extremely dark tv. Excellent Sony TV to watch 4K content.
Does vrr always increase input lag regardless of tv brand, is that a general thing?
I’m not sure. This is the first time I’ve specifically measured it

If only they invented a receiver which had multiple inputs, or something.
