Com'on dude. Im a metal head and CANT AGREE WITH THAT. Bach's music is MILLIONS TIMES MORE COMPLEX than Metal. Bach would be a composer like he was... The complexity of his music cannot be expressed by a guitar-bass-drums band, using power chords riffs. NO WAY

Are you telling me that because Bach was an extremely intricate composer, that he could not also enjoy the simpler compositions of a heavy metal band? That's sounds like a very harsh slight against Mr. Bach's musical comprehension capabilities.
This classic piece is like actually rock, I think Bach wanted to do something like this but in that time the only thing similar to the sound was the organ, he would’ve been proud with your cover
This is not rock This is the Genius of one of greatest music creator If you choose to play in classic way or heavy metal does not matter Bach ,Paganini, Vivaldi and many other in the past wrote the notes and opened the way to the secret of Music. Today we know only do great cover of them.
Until recently i had only heard the intro to this piece. When I heard it in its full lentgh I was really blown Away. I thought, wow this is hard rock/ heavy before its time. Perfect for electrick guitar. So cool🥰
@@MysterioFan02 It's well played for a single note version, but you're right, it's quite a bit incomplete... the Bass (which is extremely fundamental) is missing completely and the counterpoints are artificially added through a digital gadget. Maybe it's a promo for the effects pedal ?
As I play organ, I know the score very well. This full version is played perfectly. Bach is my favorite composer and the quality of melodies allows to be played on instruments that did not exist in his time. The sound at the beginning of the fugue is very well chosen.🎹🎹
My all time favorite classical piece. There is a dark beauty to each and every note. I have never heard this piece played in it's entirety on an electric guitar. This is incredible. Not just incredible but brilliant. Love the Ibanez too. Sir, once again you have made my day, Thank You!
This song (piece?) is not only the original guitar solo, it's practically the basis for many forms of modern music. I have always said that before I die I want to make enough money to pay Eddie Van Halen to play Toccata and Fugue in D Minor for me, but damn it he died and the above rendition is certainly a great consolation prize.

Any chance you'd ever tab this out? I've dabbled with this in the past, but now you've lit a flame under my ass lol I have a BOSS Pitch Shifter in the FX loop of my Mesa/Boogie TriAxis, set +1 oct & -1 oct, JUST to make a pipe organ sound for songs like this and Mr. Crowley. Been doing it for 20+ years. Nobody can ever figure out how I managed to get that sound lol
well i can take a wild guess even if i haven’t seen ur playing, something like evh’s cathedral and yngwie’s echo etude, playing with the delay and vol knob? Or you have some really interesting way to mess around ur pitch shifter to make some reverb and stereo sound

For the time being, there were 3 arrangements I heard that were fantastic: Vanessa-Mae (from her Violin Player album), Maxim Venergov and a violinist I discovered over a decade ago. This is now the 4th. Bach would be so proud of your arrangement. Pure virtuosity throughout the piece. You played with so much ferocity and it took me to a different world. By far the best electric guitar version I ever heard for Bach's famous piece 🙂🙂✌🏾!!

I’m most impressed he remembered this whole song, there’s a lot here. Most songs have a refrain that plays at least 3 or 4 times which eats up a lot of the song which is easier to remember.
I started to learn this on guitar from a very incredible recording of a fantastic organ in Germany. I lost it many years ago and never really finished. The full song is beautiful, and this rendition is a great one. Good job buddy! Thanks.

I was thinking what if someone played this classical piece associated with Dracula on an electric guitar, thinking it’ll sound rad. I searched and found this video and I am LOVING it so far. My favorite part was 2:40 it sounded so mesmerizing!
I love this, I know its sound rediculous but this was one of the first songs I learn on guitar (partially learnt) I'd play just the one song over and over and over. I pedalled the 12 fret not the 24th though.

Thank you so much for your Electric Guitar interpretation of Toccata and Fugue by J. S. Bach. You play it so beautifully. The only problem I have with it is that I can't stop listening to it.
It's difficult to say what Bach might have thought of this electrified version of an electrifying piece but I know that I thought it was spectacular and totally in keeping with the spirit if not the technology of Bachs original composition. Oddly, The Baroque pipe-organ and the electric guitar are the same thing, in a way, they both lend themselves to lofty, anthemic chords with the same overwhelming power and even the same kind of range coupled to a string and pipe arrangement that allows for similar chord progressions and tonal qualities (I only pretend to know the mechanics of music but in truth, I'm actually just a very appreciative listener.) and blah, blah, blah. Seriously, Mr. Ochaion, you got my heart-rate up and my ears rejoicing just like the organ version does and I'd love to see you do what you just did, live...I'd pay money for that. Bravo...tastefully and faithfully done.

This is not a classic piece, it's actually ba-rock.
It is in a way. But its just very powerful. I totally left me stunned when i first heard it in a church somewhere that had an organ.
