  • Red Crowns Senior Living - Singapore’s first co-living concept for seniors in Singapore with the goal to provide high-quality co-living support to seniors and create a safe, residential ecosystem for the ageing population.
For Joshua Goh, the founder and CEO of Red Crowns Senior Living, the inspiration to launch the company came from personal experiences and the challenges he faced while looking for a quality safe space for his father.
“My 86 year old father is one of the first residents of Red Crowns Senior Living, following his hospital discharge in 2020 after a series of falls. I wanted to find an ideal senior care solution for him and realised that there were many gaps in the system, including the cost of non-subsidised nursing homes, a potential loss of freedom and autonomy, lack of suitable caregivers, a lack of space to accommodate a domestic helper in a multiple-family home, and more. As a result, I came up with the idea of creating sustainable living outcomes for people like my father,” he shares.
Update in March 2024 - Pioneering this model of eldercare in Singapore since April 2021, Red Crowns has served over 250 elderly residents in over 30 homes. Since November 2023, Red Crowns is part of the Shared Stay-in Senior Care Services Sandbox - a pilot programme by the Ministry of Health and Agency of Integrated Care to explore new models of care to widen the range of care solutions for seniors. As part of this pilot programme, its care ratio has been adjusted to 1:3, with the commitment of ensuring all residents are well taken care of.
