I have been trying to steer people to this channel for awhile now. Seems that many are frustrated for lack of information on other channels. It's not the vloggers fault at all. People ask about stimulus money dates and there is a lot of websites and phone calls for 50 states. It's really clear there is no help coming soon for seniors,disabled and people without children. So time to come to channels like this. Even Budget Bill agrees.
I love the Department of Aging and Disability. They have helped me more than once. I got help for my dad before he passed away. I also got help for myself through them.

( I still drive to doctors, P/T and to pick up meds) Could you check on places that help with car repair ? Just found out my 11 year old truck needs brakes ! Quotes are $1200-1500 just for the front ! I can give up on the food delivery but I NEED to stay mobile 💪
Call your auto parts store and find out how much the brakes are to fix your car. Buy them. Take the brakes to the mechanic and it will cost you so much less. My quote for brakes was $350. The brakes were $112 and mechanic was $60= $172. I said a lot of money by doing it that way. Good luck.
I’d like to know if legal aide is qualified to update or create for senior citizens their Last Will and Testament? Mine needs updating but attorneys are so expensive these days.

Do you have access to 211 in your area? Call them and explain what is going on and give them the phone # that you have been leaving messages at and ask them for the local phone # for your zip code. Or try Google for your your particular area. I’m in Texas (I was assigned a case worker on my 1st phone call), I called 211 and they connected me with my local area on Agency for the Aging. Or you can try the phone # that Nicole provides in this video, National Elder Locator Hotline at 800 - 677 - 1116, to find help in your area. Hope all of this information helps you. Regarding Meals on Wheels, please do not assume that Meals on Wheels is only for the homebound. In my city, Meals on Wheels is available to anyone who is elderly and desires it at a cost of $3.25 per meal and special diets are available. If someone else in the household desires a meal as well, they can receive one also at the same cost. Not sure, but I think they accept food stamps. I live in Illinois.

Also those who recieve help from medicaid food stamps etc... may b eligible to b paid for taking care of their mom paw grandma/ pay. My neighbor gets paid minimum wage for 8hrs a day from medicaid. She had to fight for it n she won. It's not something they like anyone to do. Please look and ask if you r taking care of anyone.
