We’ve finally made it to Mexico City, one of our dream destinations. You might ask yourself, "Why Mexico City?". Well, being the largest city in North America, there is SO much to do here. Between the museums, the local markets, the culture, the people, and (of course) the food. We knew we just had to experience this city and it’s so much more than we realized.

Awww, this reminds me of early Kara & Nate videos and how they started their channel. I am happy that they are trying to give opportunities for other vlogers.
Early K&N had no money and didn't really know what they were doing making videos. Love the early videos, but these do not remind me of them at all. Maybe remind me of like year 3 or 4 K&N, comfortable in front of the camera, not completely broke, travel-savvy.

Fantastic!!! I travelled to Mexico City in 1985 with my Girl Scout troop, there had just been a massive earthquake 3 months before our trip. It’s a very, very different city now and after your video I think it’s going to be added to my bucket list 😊

Can you explain the process of taking out money from ATM’s. I’ll be in Roma Norte in July so I’m curious
Pretty standard. They even have citibank which didn't charge atm fees. There's a citibank in roma norte as well. That's what we used. They give you an option for pesos or USD we just did pesos.
Considering that I live in Mexico City it was interesting to see a tourist perspective because I always thought it wasn't very tourist friendly but I guess it depends on your budget. It was very weird to me to see that side of my city because if I had to describe it I would say it is chaotic, loud and always crowded specially in the touristic areas and the editing makes it look so peaceful and friendly. If you didn't experience the traffic chaos or you didn't get your ears blown off by a merchant you didn't really experience Mexico City.
People have different experiences. Didn't feel like that to us at all except for seeing everyone packed into busses. That said, I the place has more people than NYC so we went in expecting it to be a bit chaotic 😊
@@faredrop sure, visiting for a few days is not the same as living here but really if you visit from a small city or town it can be quite overwhelming specially if you try to use the public transportation because most of it is done by bus and you wouldn't find a map of routes anywhere in this city, that's why I said it isn't very tourist friendly but it depends on your budget.
