Daddy Won really adapted the Filipino way of eating pandesal. After he dipped his pandesal in the coffee, he eventually took a sip of it. You should also try different kinds of pandesal, not just the plain one. We have malunggay pandesal, ube pandesal, and so on. It's more healthy and delicious
Watching this with my coffee in the afternoon feels like having breakfast. Pandesal is good with anything. When we buy a bag and can't finish everything in the morning, we microwave the rest so it's hot before we eat the left overs. Yum!!!
Hello Kim Family, annyeonghaseyo😊 sorry I'm not korean but I also grew up in Negros😂 Anyway, Happy Father's Day to Mr. Kim😊 & I am glad that you're blending well with the locals, especially with the foods. You made a lot of contents that made Filipino so proud. Thank you for embracing our culture & hope your channel can invite more subscribers.❤ God bless😇
lyn is becoming more and more beautiful ❤ everyday if she could just learn to speak the local language specially Tagalog she can easily land a career as an actress, she just needs some more exposure like auditioning on celebrity search shows like PINOY BIG BROTHER
You can also try pandesal with Reno liver spread, salted egg, sardines, cheese, white goat cheese, hotdog, ham, corned beef, and leftover food like adobo, menudo, sisig... And so many, me i dip it in a hot coffee. Enjoy! ❤
You should do a part 2 of this video. You're correct, there are a lot of combinations that you haven't tried yet with pandesal. Pancit canton, sardines, reno liver spread is good also, corned beef, etc. Pandesal is good to be eaten either with just dipping it in coffee or with any spread or fillings that you like. 😊Thank you for learning how to eat Filipino foods and liking them as much as we do. 🥰God bless you more and always keep safe!
This reminds me of my childhood. My mom would serve us pandesal with ice cream as a summer treat. But on most days, we would just eat it plain or with butter.
Maybe my kids will also miss the pandesal they eat now in a few years. I hope this will be their memory. The warm pandesal is really delicious. pandesal is so perfect!💜💜💜 Thank you for watching our video 😍
My brother and I used to jog to a bakery about 2 miles at 7 a.m.to get pandesal in Burnham Park ,Baqiuo for my dad 5 days a week.We were 12 and 13 at the time.A few weeks later we moved to Manila. Then my dad passed.A year later we moved to the U.S.A.Louisiana.That was 58 yrs.ago.I still miss the P.I.!
Pandesal is even good with LUCKYME PANCIT CANTON. Its basically food for college students in a budget. Filipinos's are known to combine flavors you could never imagine. Just like Adobo a mix of combined flavors [Salty, sweet and sour] We even have a peanut butter soup called KARE KARE mixed with fermented shrimps. Or Organ Soup made with Bile and animal organs called PAPA-ITAN.
You can make pizza pandesal. It's very yummy! Buy pre made/cooked pizza sauce at the grocery store, spread it on the pandesal, sprinkle some cheese and put it in the roaster oven. Heat it for a few minutes or until the cheese melt and enjoy. It's very delicious 😋😋😋
You're lucky to get access to home-made natural peanut butter instead of those supermarket brands. Also, Pan De Sal can be eaten with practically anything you can imagine....even Kimchi, although that would be stretching it but still, palatable. One of my faves is with cream cheese.
There's a lot of combination for pandesal butter and honey. strawberry jam and sliced cheese.eggs with mayonnaise. Try to taste native kakanin like tupig, espasol, turon, bibigkang malagkit, sapin sapin, puto bungbong .

That red egg was Salted egg. Really yummy with rice. or Mix salted egg with sliced tomato and small fish sauce. Mix them then eat it with rice. 😄
Freshly baked pandesal is the best. Paired it with margarine or butter, or peanut butter, that’s my favorite. Pandesal with Ice cream if the weather is very hot, that’s ok too.
pinoy are like beta tester of food and if they say it is good then it is. But receiving food is another art pinoy perfected. It's like mix and match, right mindset of enjoying.😇
SALTED EGG (it's ready to it, but needs some more ingredients): 1. Remove the shell (Just like boiled egg). 2. Slice it, i prefer small bits. 3. Put in a bowl 4. You need not so ripe Tomatoes, for me the ratio is 4-5 tomatoes per 1 egg (no rules) you'll have your own preference the more you do it. 5. Add vinegar, probably 1 tablespoon per 1 egg 6. Mix altogether. Taste, if you want more Vinegar add little by little. You would want to eat them together i mean salted egg with tomatoes and of course follow it with rice. Ask a local as well but generally this is how it's prepared.
You should also try putting butter or margarine in the Hot Pandesal and then dipping it in a freshly brewed coffee. The saltiness of the butter and the bitter sweetness of the coffee makes a great combination! And The taste is amazing!
Pandesal is a bread traditionally baked for breakfast. It is available throughout the day nowadays. Pandesal (Pan de Sal) has Portuguese origins, literally translating to Salt Bread so it will go well with almost anything, including savory dishes. You can fill it with sweet (jams, curd, etc) or savory (liver spread, tuna spread, ham, cheese, ham & cheese, bacon, egg, etc). My favourite is condensed milk or coconut jam (Matamis na bao) with plain kapeng barako (brewed locally grown coffee using Liberica coffee beans) 😅
I would like to suggest mix sardines in can with egg we call it torta we also cook eggplant with egg try eating it like u did in the ice-cream put it in the middle. When you try the butter with the pandesal it's oily because you put so much try putting it like a jam spread. ❤❤❤
You've missed pandesal, cooked sliced ham, scrambled eggs 🥚 with lady's choice mayo, that is the best combination a pandesal can have for a palaman (fillings) 😊
You can also eat pandesal with pansit ( noodles) ...sandwich style...you have to spread the butter inside the pandesal like you did with the ice cream same as the peanut butter. then dip it in the coffee 🙂
As for me I always like my pandesal like the way it is when it's barely fresh baked hot and warm, I don't add anything on them because it tastes good already as it is. Although I do partner them with espresso but I did try all those together with ice cream, peanut butter and it was ok. I do like it with margarine.

When you were going to eat pandesal with sardines it is better to cook or heated the sardines first. To cook the sardines you can sauté it with garlic and onions, you can add tomato as well. If you are not going to cook the sardines just let it boil or heat it with soy sauce and calamansi for added flavor.
pan de sal is a very versatile bread any PALAMAN or filling sweet or savory are good for pan de sal the RED EGG is good with fresh slice tomato onion and add more regular boiled egg so it will not so salty

Pandesal with peanut butter with coffee👍 Pandesal with san marino with drinks, good for merienda👍 pandesal with scramble egg with coffee good for breakfast👍
I wash my pan de sal before I eat it by dipping it in my cup of barako coffee. Pan de sal with coconut jam filling is another favorite, but it spikes my blood sugar.
