Let's just take a moment to think about the fact that Ahsoka has wielded more lightsaber colors than General Grievous, the dude who made it a point of pride to collect them.
Not master of the Force, but mastered by the Force. The Jedi should have been simply just obeying the will of the Force, wherever it leads. However, the Jedi and the Sith depart from this, each going to their respective opposite extremes. They wield the Force like a tool for their own selfish gains and philosophies, mastering the Force, instead of being mastered by the Force.
There is one detail I like about Ahsoka. Ahsoka made a lot of her living as a mechanic, mechanical skills was something Anakin taught her. Anakin, in my, opinion was a very good teacher. He not only helped her be a prime example of a Jedi, he taught her the ability to survive almost anywhere. So in one of the most ironic twists of fate. The reason why Ahsoka was so difficult to find was because of Anakin.
Anakin being her teacher makes no sense at all because anakin was still with obi-wan in episode 3... I know the fanbois of ahsoka really really want this to make sense but it doesnt.

I prefer how lightsaber were made in legends. They weren't u seing Khyber crystals. They used any crystal that was sufficient enough to focus the energy output needed. Plus Sith red crystals weren't bled Khyber crystals from a Jedi sword. They were synthetic crystals made with Sith alchemy and magic. Hence and aberration in the force. The force is living. Loves living things but synthetic things goes against the Jedi doctrine. He'll even Chewbacca nephew lowbacca used a crystal from old machinery at yavin base. Elias saber was multicolored because her son Jacen got her a Corusca gem that twinkle with all colors. That's why not so many Jedi had blue or green. ALOT did because that was the easiest colored gems to find but yeah. I mean even Disney basically turned the death star into a pseudo lightsaber just much larger.
I prefer the canon way, I think it adds more to it then just "oh yeah I found this one and it makes mine white". Really either way fits for the Sith but for other colours I think it's more enjoyable to give stories to why they are that way.
@@caderidley2309 I am personally not a fan of how they keep tying everything back to The Force in some way. Can't ever have a technological solution, always has to be Force-sensitive this or that. =/
Just so you know, purifying red lightsaber crystals is not the ONLY way to get a white lightsaber. Durinfire crystals can be added to lightsabers of any color, and the blade will change to white/silver color.
Imagine if Ahsoka showed up in the third SW Jedi video game. That would be so amazing! It would fit, too, since she and Cal have similar views/beliefs about the Jedi Order and the Force. It would be awesome if Kata became the new main character after Cal's story is "finished" with the third game.

This is a really good video. It's hard to find a channel or a video that gives correct information about what lightsabers are and the story that connects them. But every little thing in this video is 100 % correct and that is just so much fun. I already knew how Ahsoka got her sabers. But I wanted to see if I could find some more information. This video definitely did that. This is a job well done. Very good. Happy to know that not everybody tells bullsh*t. Thanks.
I love lady Tano! I’m glad u mentioned this channel in your landscape photography channel! You are right up my alley mike…. Lol. My name too. I love this stuff!
Back in KotOR2, I used silver blades in every run through where I wasn't a Sith. They were the first non-standard (green, blue, yellow, red) color I found. Been using the white blade in Jedi Survivor.
Personally Ashoka is my favorite character. She’s got a story rivaling anakins, skill rivaling obi wan, and force powers almost rivaling plo koon. “cough cough” she’s also pretty hot later on. I ain’t stupid I know she was 14 starting out, not falling for that trap😂
So, I'm not sure how many people realize that the curved lightsaber hilts Ahsoka has, could be based on Asajj Ventress' lightsaber construction, who based her lightsabers off of Dooku's design I believe. The curved hilt makes it possible to perform attacks you can't defend against as easily as a straight hilt, due to the ability to change the direction it goes while mid swing, with a flick of the wrist. Part of the reason Ventress was such a good assassin, was her sabers.
She also used shatter point to destroy the lightsaber of the Sixth Brother. In a way she read about the technique from the Jedi Archives and asked Mace Windu about it.
So I guess Tera Sinube also purified a Sith crystal? As far as I know he is the first Jedi in canon to ever be shown using a white bladed lightsaber. Honestly, I"m not sure how much I like the healing/bleeding thing, but whatever. What I WOULD have liked to have seen though, is a post Order 66 adventure where Ahsoka teams up with Tera Sinube again, and he would gift her with his lightsaber/crystal. That may lack the mystical "woo woo" of Ahsoka creating them herself, but I really like Ahsoka & Sinube's team-up in "Lightsaber Lost"
Explain mace winfu saber. Its purple, which is a combination of blue and red if you paint. I guess he pours his strength and emotions into it without losing control. I hope they do a movie with him in it.
I like the dark saber even though there’s only one known to exist. I read somewhere that the dark saber symbolizes an individual who’s in between the force and dark side and has mysterious ways. Someone that doesn’t consider themselves to be a hero or villain. They’re someone who’s likely to have issues with the Jedi and Sith, but are more likely to feud with Sith.

I've read the Ahsoka book so many times and better yet listened to the audio book read by Ashley Eckstein, if you're not a fan of audio books but a fan of Ahsoka this is a great way to start
They missed a huge opportunity to animate this for Tales of the Jedi. Like if you would make MORE Ahsoka stuff, I would hope this would be something you would straight adapt. But maybe we'll get this in her show coming out in a flashback, using the crystals of the Inquisitor she disarmed.
i wrote a draft for a fanfic many years ago before i knew there were more crystal colors. my darkside user had a white saber, i might be able to do something with this.
Someone noticed, that Ahsoka's second white lightsaber wasn't a shoto in Rebels? The handle was shorter but the blade had regular length. I guess she modified that weapon after Rebels to get a shorter blade, making it a shoto.
Ahsoka is a great example of how to make a good character that happens to be female, who ALSO was an original character to her stories. Her character development was earned, respectfully done without outshadowing her predecessors, and is now probably the most universally beloved character in all of Starwars besides maybe Luke.

In my opinion both of these can work in the universe
I prefer the canon way, I think it adds more to it then just "oh yeah I found this one and it makes mine white". Really either way fits for the Sith but for other colours I think it's more enjoyable to give stories to why they are that way.
I like the way they explain red kyber crystals better in Legends and personally, I think it makes more sense those are synthetic ones.
@@caderidley2309 I am personally not a fan of how they keep tying everything back to The Force in some way. Can't ever have a technological solution, always has to be Force-sensitive this or that. =/
@@vomErsten And why shouldn't it be that way? The Force demonstrably exists in that universe. It should rightly be the center of Jedi and Sith life.
Just so you know, purifying red lightsaber crystals is not the ONLY way to get a white lightsaber. Durinfire crystals can be added to lightsabers of any color, and the blade will change to white/silver color.

The blade looks so intimidating, yet an unarmed Jedi can quickly disarm them. That’s definitely a flaw in the lightsaber design.
awesome video and info. huge ahsoka fan also. good stuff
Asoka is definitely an awesome force user! Probably in my top 3 or 4 as well!
I’d be slightly mad if they don’t show her purifying the crystals into white in the tales of the Jedi show
Imagine if Ahsoka showed up in the third SW Jedi video game. That would be so amazing! It would fit, too, since she and Cal have similar views/beliefs about the Jedi Order and the Force.
SPOILERS AHEAD!

Imagine if Ahsoka and Cal both mentored Kata in the ways of the Force. That would be so sick! We don't know yet if Kata is Force-sensitive or not, but I'd imagine she is since Bode, her father, was a (dark) Jedi. It would be awesome if Kata became the new main character after Cal's story is "finished" with the third game.
Thank you!! This was excellent.
I’m definitely subscribing. This channel is going somewhere
If you read the book "Ashoka" just know it's real slow it's not a "path of destruction" type book it picks up at points but the premise is basically shortly after order 66 so she's hiding
She’s no Jedi but she’s pure LIGTH
Ah yes, LIGTH!
-The thing we need to see
-Emitted by the sun
-Helps plants grow
-Faster than light
-Has many colors
-Makes rainbows together with water
-Symbolizes good and purity
-That one part of the force used by the good guys.
Sounds right to me…
Ahsoka always been 1 of my faves as well, Also I can imagine what might go thru another Sith's mind when when he sees the light sabers for the first time and the story that goes with them
Though i know most of this, this is very informative and over all a great video. Love how you put in small details like how her name changed, and what it represented.
ahsoka went from pure fan fiction to beloved main stay character
Ashoka is such a good book, def recommend👍
This is a really good video. It's hard to find a channel or a video that gives correct information about what lightsabers are and the story that connects them. But every little thing in this video is 100 % correct and that is just so much fun. I already knew how Ahsoka got her sabers. But I wanted to see if I could find some more information. This video definitely did that. This is a job well done. Very good. Happy to know that not everybody tells bullsh*t. Thanks.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I really appreciate it!
I love lady Tano! I’m glad u mentioned this channel in your landscape photography channel! You are right up my alley mike…. Lol. My name too. I love this stuff!
Haha great to hear fellow nerd!
I already knew this, but it's such a great story!
Back in KotOR2, I used silver blades in every run through where I wasn't a Sith. They were the first non-standard (green, blue, yellow, red) color I found. Been using the white blade in Jedi Survivor.
It's in the book.
Amazing Story. I guess we have Filoni to thank for this.
Underrated channel ngl
Personally Ashoka is my favorite character. She’s got a story rivaling anakins, skill rivaling obi wan, and force powers almost rivaling plo koon. “cough cough” she’s also pretty hot later on. I ain’t stupid I know she was 14 starting out, not falling for that trap😂
My dude spoiling the entire star wars without even one spoiler alert
great video. checking out the video you just said cannot wait to see it.
How do u not have more subs this is amazing :D
Awsome video bro, glad to know how ashoka got those Khyber crystals
Excellent job, thank you
Ashoka is the reason I still watch the shows
So, I'm not sure how many people realize that the curved lightsaber hilts Ahsoka has, could be based on Asajj Ventress' lightsaber construction, who based her lightsabers off of Dooku's design I believe. The curved hilt makes it possible to perform attacks you can't defend against as easily as a straight hilt, due to the ability to change the direction it goes while mid swing, with a flick of the wrist. Part of the reason Ventress was such a good assassin, was her sabers.
Answer to the question is @ 4:10
Awesome content. Liked and subbed.
She also used shatter point to destroy the lightsaber of the Sixth Brother. In a way she read about the technique from the Jedi Archives and asked Mace Windu about it.
The amazing TRUE story lol. This really happened folks, I SEEN it!
I saw it on the Holonet! It’s true AND amazing 🤣
A quartz white blade is truly something. In the light I’m so low-key I would have a ghost fire Crystal to pair my Spectre mentality.
There were quite a few inaccuracies in this vid but you got the point across i guess.
NICE JOB MAN !!!
WOW Partner!! Build it and they will come!! Awesome, I do like this story!!
I hope they do a movie with him in it.
or its just a natural purple crystal from ilum.....
Simple. Samuel L. Jackson wanted a purple lightsaber.
Disney reworked lightsaber lore into this garbage. If you read the old lore it all makes more sense.
She is my number one fav character
I want to see purple lightsaber next.
"OMG Mike, you can't just ask someone why their lightsabers are white."
Ahsoka's preference for reverse-grip is her greatest weakness. It reduces her reach and detracts from her defensive options.
SHOTO DARK SABER
It was created by the first mandalorian Jedi 🙄. When he died the Jedi locked it away for safe keeping and the mandalorians stole it
Red and white kyber crystals can actually be created normally without bleeding or purifying, but incredibly rare opposed to blue and green
Yoda uses dual phase .75-1.5meterz and the named inquisitors is Trilla Sundari 2nd sister, Reva 3rd sister, bil valen 6th brother 9th sister Masana Tide 10th brother(blind master who windu beat down)Prosset Dibbs , was cool how 10th used 2 shoto inquisitor saberstaff , wish theyed brought baCC Cyborg Pong Krell as like Grand exectioner w same giant hinged saberstaffs but only in empire colors like hands(purple)&Inquisitors(crimson)
When I say your thumbnail and text in it, I saw it saying “There can be only one”
HAHA
🤣
Mace because of his unique fighting form Vaapad, Yoda because of his wisdom and his mastery of the Force and Plo Koon for his piloting skills are my favorite Jedi in the Star Wars Universe
storytelling at its best. :-D
ooooo this video gave me all types of feels
Very nice video
Hope we get this in Tales of the Jedi.
\Thank you for putting that together! Ahsoka is at least in my top 3 as well.
1:25 The what clan now? The "farty-clan"?😂
Thats propably not it but I can't unhear it.
This is why Ahsoka is just amazing, I don't get why people hate her. She's the best Jedi character in the entire Star Wars franchise. :)
that’s every character in star wars, the fans hate them and then years later they love them. the original trilogy is perfect example
i wrote a draft for a fanfic many years ago before i knew there were more crystal colors. my darkside user had a white saber, i might be able to do something with this.
Great video!!! subscribing!!
Actually ... Did not know this .. dope
Someone noticed, that Ahsoka's second white lightsaber wasn't a shoto in Rebels? The handle was shorter but the blade had regular length. I guess she modified that weapon after Rebels to get a shorter blade, making it a shoto.
The Ahsoka novel isn’t canon anymore
Ahsoka is a great example of how to make a good character that happens to be female, who ALSO was an original character to her stories.
Her character development was earned, respectfully done without outshadowing her predecessors, and is now probably the most universally beloved character in all of Starwars besides maybe Luke.
This is actually a book called Ahsoka I highly recommend reading it very interesting
Ahsoka is the best female character Star Wars has right now so putting good content out for her would be wise.
weird how this popped up in my recommended when i was talking to my brother about this.
TH-cam is always listening 👀
@@SWPhoenixSquadron via alexa lol. were so screwed.
Ashoka is a good example how to write a good and strong female character, besides that she is freaking bad ass
Can you do the one about Anakin
Hey man! So I looked at that footage a few times. But I don’t think he could’ve made it out. He was trying but it was too steep and he kept sliding back down.
@@SWPhoenixSquadron okay then can you do one if like what if Obi-Wan turned him back for Anakin or smart or something LOL
