I feel “The Mandalorian” was never about Din Jarin or Bo-katan, but it’s about Grogu. He is The Mandalorian. This is his origin story, the others are just part of it. And yes, the combination of his force powers, Jedi training, and Mandalorian apprenticeship will bring a whole new warrior to the world, one like no other. And this is his beginning…
100% what I began to suspect when the Mythosaur legend came up this season. Who better to connect/control/ride the legendary beast? Grogu in his own right is a unicorn amongst the galaxy, one of the few who can channel the force with limitless potential, and is being raised by warriors who will hold honor above all else. He's the perfect one to bring Mandalore into a new age. Raised in 2 dogmas and witnessing one dogma put aside for the greater good. I'm just curious how he will come to posses the dark saber. He must win it in combat. I suspect from the one who defeats Bo Katan in a future season.
I think Ezra would make the perfect master for Grogu as he has a deep connection to the mandalorions, has experience resisting and dealing with the dark side, and is (In canon) arguably the greatest master of beast control.
@@Mr._Galaxywide totally agree. Also, he is a jedi who was taught to form attachments and turn those into strengths rather than weaknesses. It would so align to what Grogu wants.
In all honesty, I would like to see Grogu become the second Mandolorian Jedi in lore and have a bit more explanation/exploration of the first. Both cultures are not so incompatible and follow a similar mindset of the elite warriors. The Jedi code and the Mandolorian creed are both steeped in traditions and are what drive both to fight fearlessly in battle. Both have a strong sense of honor, duty, and encourage the passing down to the next generation of the history and traditions of each culture.
@@iownstaticz8687 Yeah but look where both mindsets led them. The Jedi and Mandalorians are defeated and scattered. Maybe they need to find that middle ground to build something better or at least make one hell of a hero.
I feel like grogu will become everybody's favorite force wielder at the end of all this. He has all the building blocks to be the most badass thing the entire starwars universe has ever seen.
If Living 900years for Yoda/grogu's species is not uncommon then it is the equivalent of many lifetimes of humanoid species. It wouldn't be a suprise at all to me if grogu was to live to the mandalorian creed until the time of Din Djarin's death and then move on to live a life of a fully fledged jedi while staying semi-true to the creed. He's definitely going to have an interesting timeline ahead of him
Personally, I think that Grogu is "The Mandalorian". This is his story from Foundling to Mandalore. Imagine the stabilizing force of a Mandalore that lives 1000yrs!
@@EinarOfBC Yeah, I can just see a sequel movie set hundreds of years later when Grogu is like 500 years old and can tell the Mandalorians what the retaking of Mandalore was like since he was there.
I really hope they continue his story for a long time. Also I think Ezra would be an amazing Master for Din Grogu to learn from. Ezra had a deep connection with animals as well.
@@brandon-alcocer No, that doesn't make any sense. Having a strong connection to the force and having knowledge about the force are two different things.
Any one want to just take a second to appreciate the fact Bo Katan thought her side plate sized shield was going to protect her at all from that fire ball
I think it’s just instinct, the way someone would brace before a accidental fall. No different, u can’t assume she assumed it was going to actually protect her. Even if she didn’t have the shield, fire coming towards you in that position seems perfectly natural for one to raise their hand or hands in a form of brace
Can we talk about how heartbreaking it was to see him split up Paz and Axe? It was almost like a PTSD episode from watching the clones kill the younglings, seeing people he considers his friends (assuming he knew clones during the war) gun down his classmates and now having IG give him the mobility to stop it from happening again on a way smaller scale.
That does make sense. It would explain why the Jedi focused on getting Grogu out of the Jedi temple when it was attacked by Anakin and the clones. They knew how powerful he could be and his potential.
Grogu and Anakin were born at the same time. I don’t think many have noticed this yet. I think there’s a connection there and Grogu is going to be insanely powerful.

@@annoyerboka yeah I think you're right, I don't think he will be "the chosen one" but I believe it will have some meaning. In terms of just raw force power Grogu seems more gifted than a lottttt of force users.

I want Grogu to have a ghostfire blade. I envision him being very economical with his movement/strikes-a very samurai style of combat. His incredible quickness would be enhanced by the after-image of the ghostfire crystal.
Grogu is a little badass and more powerful than most even realize. I had to explain this to my wife. Grogu almost always uses his most emotional, powerful force abilities when he is triggered to protect Mando. The Pratoreon guard scene is a perfect illustration of that. Grogu basically toyed around with the most vile, dangerous guards in the empire. Almost no one noticed this..
Yeah apparently people didn't like that scene. They gotta remember though this is a baby. Who's probably gonna end up being one of the most op characters ever.
in the next season, I would love to see Grogu a bit bigger and learning to speak. I think that there is a lot of potential left in Djarin and Grogu's story to tell. Im still hoping we get to hear grogu say this is the way
@@RobertDMoore We learn to speak from our parents, so I am leaning towards him speaking standard English like Din. If he does wind up speaking like Yoda, it will be very charming, however!
I feel that Grogu will pursue his Jedi training after his father, Din Djarin passes. Grogu chose to be with him & is now Din Grogu. I feel that Din Grogu will unite the Mandalorian/Jedi spiritual wisdom & warrior skills into a new breed of galactic protector. Din Grogu has immense & unprecedented potential to truly unite the galaxy.
One of his best attributes, to me, is the fact that he's not afraid to walk both sides. However, let's hope pride will not be his downfall such as vizla.
Grogu has huge force potential. Now he is a son of Din Djarin, a devout mandalorian of foundling origin so it would be quite logical for Din Grogu to adopt his father’s moral compass about honor and the Way. This means that he might use all weapons and force powers possible to protect those in need of help but stay on the light and right side of the force. A nice touch of DD:s responsible attitude towards his fatherhood is that he decided to choose his future gigs as a bounty hunter so that he would not end up signing in for things that are morally wrong. All this because of his responsibilities as a role model for his son. He is not a professional educator and has no experience of being a father either but the bond between father and son is very strong. Btw, Bo Katan would a really nice space mom for Grogu and she likes him very much too as can be seen in various occasions a taking him into her lap as she flies the fighter/transport ship. Grogu could be the future Mandalore and he could ride the mighty Mythosaur as he has already connected with it through force momentarily. This is the way.
I can really see grogu being a force Mandalorian learning the way and practising his force abilities hope the series last long enough to see that mature transition
I love how the show's title "The Mandalorian" literally is talking about different people in different seasons. Clearly S1 and S2 the Mandalorian being referenced is the titular bounty hunter himself, but in S3 as a foundling, it's becoming clear to me that the character being referenced is actually Grogu. It could be when the series finally concludes (if it ever does) we realize the entire series was about Grogu himself, and the title was describing him the whole time.
Watching Grogu protect Din Djarin and Bo-Katan from the fire, I was thinking about Kanan Jarrus' sacrifice and how strong Grogu had to be to do what he did. I realize it's not exactly the same but there is obviously a strong parallel and I was more than a little impressed. I was expecting him to pass out after, so when he just sat down, I was like "oh, damn." It's nice to hear I wasn't the only one thinking exactly that.
@@nilesclifford9704 Found? Like they just left it on the ground on the floor of the Senate building? That seems like the kind of thing the Empire would have found. I'm certain that Sidious sent Stormtroopers to scour every inch of that building for Yoda. They would have found the lightsaber and it was either destroyed or locked away somewhere hidden. I'm not buying that Luke ever found it, that's just too illogical.
Ive been thinking for awhile that Grogu would tame the Mythosaur. I thought it would happen at the end of Mando season 3. I think thats a big reason they brought him into BOBF, to tame the rancor as a kind of audience prep
In Legends, Corran Horn did something similar (I Jedi), where it was explained that he was actually using the energy from the explosion to bolster his power in the Force.
My favorite character from the Star Wars Extended Universe. I'm pretty sure he was patterned after Odysseus from Greek mythology. Not the strongest warrior, but by far the most intelligent and cunning. A tactician and strategist, a commanding general, rather than just a frontline soldier.
That's one force power/stunt that's onerlooked, he was also shunting alot of the energy through the force and dissipating it...but using his body as a conduit. Loved I,jedi...it's begging for a mini-something.
I think Grogu could become the most powerful force user. As he ages and maybe gets taught by Ahsoka or others he can fully explore the force without the boundaries set by the Jedi and the Sith. A fully immersed emotional exploration could lead to a very powerful being.
First, Kanan was standing on the exploding fuel pod when it blew, and gave himself up to save the others. Second, Grogu was standing on solid ground, and just made a small bubble to redirect the explosion around them. Different feats of strength. Not discounting how powerful Din Grogu is by any means, just pointing out the difference between them.
Exactly not to mention Kanan also uses the force to hurl the imperial gun ship away from the explosion. Kanan at this moment is at his most powerfuI state.
Yeah, Grogu’s was crazier. That’s the fuel, snd shrapnel from a big ship, not just one fuel pod. Call it what you want, it’s just as impressive. It shows the potential for much more power than Kanan. He has many years to get more powerful.
@@CorbCorbin pretty sure starships are fueled by nuclear reactors too so it was basically resisting a atomic bomb blast at ground zero. Insane feat of emotional control and connection to the Force!
@@SirTorcharite while I do think that the blast from the starship was more powerfull than the fuel cell, I doubt it was nuclear, as 1, no mushroom cloud, also evreything around the force bubble would be incererated including moff Gidion through his armour, and while ships are powerd by nuclear reactors, It would be more like chernobil than heroshima. so while the explosion was indeed large and very impressive feat, it probablly wasn't an atomic bomb. (no hate though)
@@CorbCorbin he’s also many years older than Kanan, I feel like a lot of people assume since Grogu has the mentality of a 3-5 year old that he is weak but he is still 50 years old, plenty of time to get Jedi training from possibly multiple masters
I think he could end up being offspring of Yoda and Yaddle. Not gunna lie, I was a bit disappointed when Grogu ended his training with Luke. I was really excited to see where that would lead.
If they do they’d have to recon the hell out of it. How would they explain why Yoda didn’t seek out his offspring and then go into hiding? They’d have a hard time trying to explain that. Yoda would not compromise his mission with a child. If he had a child it would’ve become a great distraction from what he had to do.
It would have been interesting now but boring in the long run. I prefer the fact he did not take interest in the jedi academy but he's totally cool with walking the way of the Mandalore 😍
I recently dived into some Star Wars 'wiki' sites and read that in the early days use of the force was known as "the way" perhaps Grogu will bring about an era that is full circle. It would appear also that Grogu understands he needs attachment and would argue that Grogu's shield against the fire was strengthened out of the love he has for his father. The force itself is neither good nor bad it's a matter of intent of the user. I further think he'll do away with the concepts of the light and dark of the force and will use it for justice which he's seeing is very much actions steeped in grey. Ultimately, he is The Mandalorian, bringing about a new force system and philosophy.
I think that's a good point. I think Grogu is going to be representative of the Luke and Qui-Gon philosophy of the Force. Grogu probably won't have much more official Jedi training, but I think his conception of the Force is going to be that it's a method of protecting the people he loves. I think he'll show that attachment isn't necessarily bad and that his love for his father and his fellow Mandalorians makes him stronger.
@@robertanderson4921Grogu had over 20 years of training by the time order 66 happened don't forget. And I strong agree for Grogu it's his attachment and emotion that brings out and amplifies his use of the force.
Yes! Plus his people , to my understanding, aren't near as likely to fall to the dark side. So he could learn to wield both the light side and the dark side. I'm so excited to see Din Grogu become a bad ass
I don't know about that one, I think in canon we have only ever seen 3 of his species (yoda, yaddle and grogu) so that's a very small sample size to go off of. There might be some canon lore i've missed that has more of the species but idk
@@drakethesnek6429 well that’s a bit much, isn’t it? Personally I’d be down to see something new like that, and Grogu is probably one of the ways to make it happen that would make the most sense, if his species really resists falling to the dark side like that
I think it needs to be considered that Kanan was completely stopping the progress of both the fire from the explosion and the explosion inside the fuel tank he was standing on while Grogu was more redirecting the explosion around him
Also most people dont realize that Grogu being a mandalorian means that even if he encounters an enemy that is not susceptible to the force attacks like the yuzhaan vong he will still have the best warrior training in the galaxy, the mandalorian training. Plus he will enhance his body with the force to fight even better than any Mandalorian.
If Yoda's species is rare and yet completely force sensitive... and if the force maintains balance... could it be that the Force knew Yoda's time living was coming to an end and Din Grogu was the Force's way keep such species maintained in the Force??? I would imagine if this could be the case, if we see another small green one, could it be a sign Din Grogu time could be coming to a close???
So he just manifested? Maybe I could see females like Yaddle reproducing asexually about half way through their lives to ensure their species continues
One theory is that his species isn’t rare just reclusive and don’t leave their home world but neither yoda or yaddle talk about the homeworld so they may have been sworn to secrecy. I feel like its more likely that Yoda and Yaddle just procreated.
This a good theory. I believe Grogu was created purely by the force either for the reason you said, or because he is apart of the prophecy like Anakin. They were both born at the same time. 41 BBY.
i don't know how much of it has been explored in the EU, but i like to think that Yoda, Yadell, and Grogu's specie are born because the force manifested them, and that's why they have such a long lifespan, and high sensitivity of the force, and why nobody know much about their home planet. They are unique and endangered at the same time, so they live in secrecy of the rest of the galaxy.
I agree,I also think it must have been either yoga or yadell that found grogu on their home planet as no one else would know where that was. I think that would be such a good episode to watch as well showing a bit more of his time at the temple as a baby having his Jedi lessons.
The shield must have extended below the floor as well because you would think that the metal of the base floor would have heated up to thousands of degrees and burned the three of them alive.
The explosion was way faster than what we saw on screen. Remember what we saw was slowed down for cinematic impact. And fire even from an exploding ship isn't going to do much to durasteel plates that are likely well over an inch thick.
@@ralph90009 I agree with you I'm just saying why would it heat up anyway? Was or was not Grogu's shield sealed around the surface area of the floor? What would be getting through?
Ngl I was kinda getting hyped for Mech Grogu. Would be sweet if he spent most of the time in a full beskar IG unit, maybe even wielding a full size lightsaber, and was still a powerful fighter once out of the suit
In the comics wasnt there a story where darth vader also used a "force bubble" to submerge himself in molten lava for a time? I may be mistaken, it's been a while.
In the season finale we saw the culmination of Grogu's dealing with his fear from the past and Din Djarin's dealing with wanting to protect Grogu. Grogu finally overcomes his fear and Din Djarin finally makes Grogu part of his family. I wonder if they kept the dark saber so that Grogu would at least have the crystal to create a light saber. I suspect that the dark saber needed to be broken so that it could be resized for Grogu. What happened in the past seasons up 'til now might be considered Grogu's trials towards becoming a Jedi knight.
I definitely hope Grogu gets the kyber crystal from the darksaber. It would be so badass if in the new Rey movie she's in trouble and a black lightsaber flashes out and the little Mandalorian warrior Din Grogu saves her.
@@robertanderson4921 after 7, 8, and 9 I'll avoid the movie if it has Rey in it. She was such a poorly done character. They really need to go in a different direction.
By the logic that Bo-Katan had a rightful claim to the Darksaber because Din was captured and she saved him... it makes sense Grogu now has a rightful claim to it, because he saved Bo-Katan from certain death with his force shield bubble after she was disarmed of it by Moff Gideon. Not to mention the hilt was crushed. Recall the Armorer said it was made of an special kind of Beskar alloy. I think she might be able to find the ancient technique used to reconstruct the hilt, now that she has access to the great forge again. However, realigning the kyber crystal into the hilt would be extremely difficult if not impossible for anyone but a force-wielder bonded to it. And since it's a Beskar weapon, the creed would surely forbid to anyone but a Mandalorian be involved in the process. Since Grogu is now formally a Mandalorian, and also the only Mandalorian force-wielder... not only does he have a rightful claim to the Darksaber, it may be that he alone (with the Armorer reforging the hilt) could actually restore it to working order after Gideon crushed it.
In one of the season 3 scenes, grogu is interacting with those crab rocks, and that to me was a good indication that he was actually "conversing" with them using the Beast Control. He does it a couple of other times as well, so it seems like it's something they're hinting at.
Don't forget Grogu also has the power to heal. I don't recall seeing any other force user or Jedi using this ability on any of the shows. I have not read all the books etc. so there may be someone in those that also has the healing power like Grogu.
I think next season or at some point, Din should seek out Ahsoka or Luke to help Grogu with the Force. Din Djarin can teach Grogu the ways of the Mandalore and all of the combat skills he knows, but he's aware that Grogu has an additional power that he can't train him in.
@@robertanderson4921 I think he will need to seek Ahsoka's help in learning how to re-align the darksaber's kyber to be set in a reconstructed beskar hilt the Armorer will create on the great forge. After all, by the logic of "saving someone who was disarmed means you can rightfully claim the darksaber from them", Grogu technically can claim it since his force bubble saved bo-katan after she was disarmed by Moff Gideon. And Grogu is the only person who can fix it anyway, as the only forcer-user mandalorian. I think creed would forbid a non-mandalorian like Ahsoka or Luke to wield a beskar weapon, even if only to repair it. And I should add she is something of an expert in dealing with unusual with kyber crystals, since hers are white because she purified red ones with the force. Seems like a perfect person to consult on repairing the darksaber.
Ultimately, grogu would be weakened from being a mandalorian. Sure, he would become hardened and learn a ruthlessness from them, but his most powerful and fulfilled form would be to train in the force and the sabre, hopefully from the most powerful, wise and force-aligned being around - Luke. Grogu having a mandalorian association would only hold him back.
I’ve always felt that they missed an opportunity with yoda’s species. They live so long and could have had different stages of their lives amphibian style. I imagined that they begin small but grow very tall like the size of an ogre then shrink back down as they get older. It would give them an opportunity to experience life in different ways and more fully understand the force from differing perspectives. I don’t know, just a thought. You could always make the argument for them staying small so that stature matters not. It’s a completely valid point. But because they could be small for hundreds of years, you could have it both ways.
Or a movie/series from the empire point of view, like rooting for law and order against a small group of religious terrorists that keep sabotaging your efforts by killing thousands of your officers and expensive equipment.
He really shouldn't have been fatigued at all . That ability absorbed energy, making you temporarily stronger. Like yoda vs. dooku. ( obviously, kanan doesn't doesn't count)
There's a difference between a barrier and absorption. iirc the Absorption technique is called tuteminis, and was demonstrated by Yoda during the prequel trilogy against Count Dooku and Darth Sidious.
@Steffon Penke yes you establish a barrier, but then you absorb. . But you can deflect the energy as well . Like yoda vs dooku, yoda made a barrier, then he defected, then he absorbed. . Or kanan, he made a barrier; then absorbed the energy and used it to push the gunship away.
I definitely noticed the feat and I some what agree that he is going to be great but right now I only put him top 10 or so. Can't wait to see other feats tho
This is just one more example that proves why we will see Luke again if not maybe in the movie. No way he could leave a force wieldier with this much potential power to just be on his own and do what ever. He has to return and train Grogu and Dave knows he has to. We will see it sooner then later..
@@CojaGamez Ezra has so little training he would be the worse person to train Grogu plus Grogu has some 20 years of training so he would be a teacher to Ezra if anything. Also who can say Ezra has not turned himself at this point..

Grogu was born the same year an Anni so maybe be was the balance force baby. I only learnt that about 10 minutes ago by another comment and a Google search 😏
@@1616jaime How is that even possible? Grogu was 50 years old when Mando rescued him. Luke saved them at the end of Season 2. Luke was still in his 20s, maybe early 30s, definitely not 50. Also, Ashoka said Grogu was trained by many Jedi masters at the temple, Luke wasn't even born then.
My coworker and I had this idea. Grogu salvaging the keiber crystal from the damaged Dark Saber to forge a new one. using the beast taming skill to tame the mythosaur, and his long life span of his species, Could maybe become something akin to Tarre Vizsla, the first, and to this point, only Mandalorian Jedi. Yoda started training other Jedi at about the century-age mark, and if in the Mando series timeline, he is about 50-52 or so, it shouldn't be much longer until he can finally learn to speak and officially take on the Mando creed.
It seems like I read that there actually WAS one Mandalorian Jedi in the past. So Grogu would be the second if that is the case. That might have been what Bo Katan was referring to when she told Grogu that Mandalorians and Jedi hadn't always been enemies, and had in fact gotten along quite well at one point.
Yeah, he's quite powerful, but, on the other hand, I believe he has a higher probability to fall to the dark side. When you think about it, he's hanging with a bounty hunter who may kill for a living, and he's no longer having a proper Jedi training to control his abilities and develop patience.

do you think grogu is actually son of yoda and yaddle born of two force users like starkiller if this is canon and true than he is way more powerful and hope he gets more powerful
Yoda was grandmaster and Yaddle was added to the council after. It would be highly inappropriate if he was having sexual relations with a Jedi Knight and then promoted them to Master and Council and got them pregnant. Who would respect Yoda after learning how he abused his power?
I think it makes more sense for Mandalorians and Jedi to team up to create a new order of both, because it would make it easier for force-sensitives to survive by having more options than a lightsaber, sometimes fallible force connection, or the random pickup of a blaster. Consequently, both are targeted by the empire so it only makes sense to team up.
There was a Jedi during the NJO books who fought against the YV, and if I remember correctly he harnessed the force in some pretty incredible ways. I don’t remember his name though.
Jacen Solo. He once got caught in the vacuum when his ship was destroyed, and he used two separate force concentration powers (one to preserve a small bubble of atmosphere around him, and another to go into a semi comatose state to endure the cold of space) simultaneously to survive for hours until rescued.
Seeing Grogu with a helmet would be so interesting, would thy cover his ears or not? What if it had colors other than silver colors like Din. That’d be cool
Most Jedi always suppress their powers too keep themselves and others safe maybe that's what din grogu did, which is why we all never see him at his full potential. And I also hope he wears his armor like this concept art.
I think Grogu needed an orange slice after the fire. I also think that the force absorb ability is natural from Yoda and Grogu's species. Yoda was also able to absorb energy and release it as he did to Dooku and Palpatine. In Legends Continuity Corran Horn did something similar in the I, Jedi novel where he was in a hurts lair and triggered an explosion, he had the energy absorbing ability, but what he did in a rougher way was to use the energy from the explosion to protect himself and create a force vision he sent to everyone.

Any one want to just take a second to appreciate the fact Bo Katan thought her side plate sized shield was going to protect her at all from that fire ball
lol... it might protect her face, but it wouldn't fit that big head of hers!
even if it would fail it's worth trying
I think she tried to shield Grogu with it, as seen in the initial action, but they moved her arm for the unobscured shot of Grogu using the Force.
Bo Katan KRISPY MORE LIKE IT
I think it’s just instinct, the way someone would brace before a accidental fall.
I cried when I saw grogu’s flashback
Grogu and Anakin were born at the same time. I don’t think many have noticed this yet. I think there’s a connection there and Grogu is going to be insanely powerful.

Imagine if Grogu made his own lightsaber , and it was a dark saber as well, confirming that the combined ideologies of Jedi and mandolorians creates this unique kyber crystal
I want Grogu to have a ghostfire blade. I envision him being very economical with his movement/strikes-a very samurai style of combat. His incredible quickness would be enhanced by the after-image of the ghostfire crystal.
He could just use the old crystal since it had such significance, and the darksaber was destroyed
omfg like the dark saber in the force unleashed but wielded by Grogu
I wish he woulda took Yoda's lightsaber
The dark saber was destroyed but the crystal wasn't, The mandos are gonna use the forge to remake a saber for grogu
Oh? We noticed 😂
Grogu did a bit of giggling when jumping around. He was having fun until he was caught.
Im still hoping we get to hear grogu say this is the way
Grogu will speak Yodaism, see to it I am right. 😅
Ive loved Anakin since forever but damn Grogu is very fast becoming my fav character in SW.
At this point I feel its fairly clear this the story of Din Grogu - The Mandalorian.
I'm hoping that due to his long life, he will be an important and legit powerful character in the post sequels era.
Yoda with 2 small darksabers riding the mythosaur while in his beskar armor and helmet would be the star wars stuff of legend!
It’s coming! 😊
Perhaps he could have the unique and most powerful potential since the days of revan, but only time will tell how far he will get.
I want to see Grogu get the crystal from the Darksaber and build a new one.
Me too, and I also want to see grogu finishes his training from Luke to become a jedi to get yoda's green lightsaber after he grows up.
Exactly.
@@nilesclifford9704 Wasn't Yoda's lightsaber lost in the Senate building during his fight with Sidious? How would they get that back?

Exactly!
@@CorbCorbin he’s also many years older than Kanan, I feel like a lot of people assume since Grogu has the mentality of a 3-5 year old that he is weak but he is still 50 years old, plenty of time to get Jedi training from possibly multiple masters
That mask on grogu in the thumbnail is just so cool
I think he could end up being offspring of Yoda and Yaddle. Not gunna lie, I was a bit disappointed when Grogu ended his training with Luke. I was really excited to see where that would lead.
well their species are top tiered force senstives species
There really is no way he isn't the offspring of Yoda and Yaddle, wether they bumped uglies or did some force invitro is another thing
Where it lead to was it would cost too much to do the CGI Luke for half of every episode.
It would have been interesting now but boring in the long run. I prefer the fact he did not take interest in the jedi academy but he's totally cool with walking the way of the Mandalore 😍
I love their duo. They have become a fighting unit vs. a caretaker and child.
It's exactly this sort of mentality that is ruining star wars. Grey jedi do not exist. The light side and the dark side contradict eachother.

God I hope so
Yea but wasn’t there Yoda and Yaddle during the same time?
One theory is that his species isn’t rare just reclusive and don’t leave their home world but neither yoda or yaddle talk about the homeworld so they may have been sworn to secrecy. I feel like its more likely that Yoda and Yaddle just procreated.
This a good theory. I believe Grogu was created purely by the force either for the reason you said, or because he is apart of the prophecy like Anakin. They were both born at the same time. 41 BBY.
I would love to see Yoda' force ghost have a talk with Grogu.
i don't know how much of it has been explored in the EU, but i like to think that Yoda, Yadell, and Grogu's specie are born because the force manifested them, and that's why they have such a long lifespan, and high sensitivity of the force, and why nobody know much about their home planet.
Really injoyed the 3rf season was hoping to see grogu use that dark Saber tho
The shield must have extended below the floor as well because you would think that the metal of the base floor would have heated up to thousands of degrees and burned the three of them alive.
Good point
There's no way they though about that
I think that the floor has enough surface area that it would have had to burn much longer for the floor to heat up enough to hurt them.

You disrespect Kaanan saying his power in the force was nothing special when he was able to best Darth maul in a duel while blind.
The stuff we should be talking about right now. I love this channel for that. This is the way!
You have not seen how Kylo Ren healed Rey?
Healing was always one of their powers. I think it came from the books though.
Grogu atop the Mythosaur with dark saber nunchaku and James Earl Jones's smooth baritone voice. That's my dream.
Ezra Bridger might be able to tame the Mythasaur, as he could commune with the Purrgil and not just one, but an entire pod of them.

That thumbnail is absolutely epic! Hats off to whoever made that.
I think Asoka could still train him. If Din died or started to travel with Asoka, she could change her mind.
Im literally crying rn, this is so beautiful
Not only did he stoped the fire from engulfing them but he stoped the heat of the explosion and the blast of the explosion.
Be so cool to see a grown Din Grogu in full Mando armor
I’ve always felt that they missed an opportunity with yoda’s species. They live so long and could have had different stages of their lives amphibian style. I imagined that they begin small but grow very tall like the size of an ogre then shrink back down as they get older. It would give them an opportunity to experience life in different ways and more fully understand the force from differing perspectives.
I don’t know, just a thought.
You could always make the argument for them staying small so that stature matters not. It’s a completely valid point. But because they could be small for hundreds of years, you could have it both ways.
I hope they will make new shows of him! 🤗

I remember another one. I think you did a video about him . Old Republic ancient jedi .
We don't know the lengths of Force abilities that Grogu possesses yet. If he's close to Yoda's level, than he could be more powerful than him.

Episode 1 of Tales of the Jedi, that series is promising, I’m not huge on the animated shows but I really enjoyed it.
I like that they forgot he can heal people too in the Mando series lol
Or, Ezra could become his new master. Ezra is a master of beast control and understands how attachments can be beneficial

Yes, Yes, Yes

In Legends Continuity Corran Horn did something similar in the I, Jedi novel where he was in a hurts lair and triggered an explosion, he had the energy absorbing ability, but what he did in a rougher way was to use the energy from the explosion to protect himself and create a force vision he sent to everyone.
Not just a slice, a whole damn orange and maybe a feast after the miricle he did.
This is very cool. Looking forward to next season.
That discord beep at 6:39 really screwed with my head
Vader was gifted with Beast Control too. Tamed a Summa-Verminoth of all creatures
Grogu already tamed an angry, injured rancor during the Boba Fett series.💪🏻🤘🏻
Grogu will ride the mythosaur and weild the dark sabor(a new one or the current sabor repaired). I still think the title “mandolorian” is directly about Grogu himself.
