For a new patient, first check vision without glasses and note this as (sc). Next check vision with glasses and note as (cc). For established patients, you just measure best corrected acuity = with glasses on (cc).
He mentioned that if the paitent cannot seee 6/6 which is the normal vision......then there is something wrong such has refractive error......then you have to use the pin hole glass to correct the refractive error that's it

6/5 is great vision. It means you're seeing at 6 meters what a normal person sees at 5 meters.
