- YES! This new trail was definitely worth the wait. Blind Snake is freaking amazing!
Blind Snake is a brand spanking new black rated trail at Kalamunda Mountain Bike Trails, Western Australia. Running from the very top of Mt Gunjin all the way to the bottom (with just one small climb!) it is jam packed with fast flowing fun. And with the recent rain it is running like an absolute dream.
Thank you to the people who have made this happen, including:
* The Kalamunda Mountain Bike Collective (KMBC) Committee
* Three Chillies Design
* The Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions (DBCA)
* And of course YOU, the KMBC members!

Cheers @elijah_outback for filming this with me, great riding as always. And well done on the KoM* I hope it lasts more than a day!
* It wasn't this run, I was slowing him down far too much 😅

Looks doable! Great vid, thx
Cheers mate! Yeah you got it 🤟
That’s crazy Ryan. Can’t wait to go ride it
Cheers mate! Yeah it's a blast enjoy 🤙
its my favourite Kalamunda trail for sure.
Yep it's a good one! Getting a few wheels over it, seems to be holding up pretty good hey?
Great video. Love the way you guys filmed it too.
Thanks mate! Yep I liked it too, reckon it was worth all the fiddling about.
Sick trial 🤙can't wait to check it out
🌶🌶🌶✅
The guys do a great job!
Awesome videoooo🥳🥳 cant wait to ride it
Thanks Annie! Reckon that step down has your name on it 🥳
@@RyanDillonMTB 🥳🥳 will definitely check it out once im good to ride again woohhoo🥳🥳
rode it last weekend cant call it a black feels like a blue but shes flowy
Yep fast and flowy! How's that bottom section holding up with all the wheels?
sick stuff guys
Cheers Hamish. Reckon you got that step down easy mate 👍
@@RyanDillonMTB when i do it in the day
Big step down @ 1:20
Slap dat berm @ 2:14
Gap watch out! @ 3:09
Oooo….that’s how you’re suppose to ride it 🤣
Hahahaaaa 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think Elijah had ridden it nearly ten times by this point! But yeah he had it pretty much dialled.
@@RyanDillonMTB hahahha I’m sure his first run on it was heaps better than my first run too 🤣😂🤣
@@DirtyPandaMTB yeah but did you ride that tricky left turn rock garden with no feet on your pedals? We needed another take for that one 😅
@@RyanDillonMTB I wanna see that! 😂🤣😂
I can’t clear the table tops
It's a little tricky to get enough speed. Gotta hit the entry berm pretty hard, and make sure it spits you out in right direction. You'll get there!
Thanks
I will try and do that on Sunday.
A Black Trail?
Looks like a x/c ride
Dare I say.. more berms instead of flat corners would be nice..😬 ( wait for all the haters😄..)
Agreed 👍
In the bottom section? I nearly ran off the trail a couple of times down there. Once I got a bit more familiar with the trail, that really helped. It will be interesting to see how the corners evolve as more wheels go over it.
@@RyanDillonMTB yeah, in time little catch berms will form. That other new trail looks mint, the step up, berms, be good when it’s open. Going to be a busy summer up there. 👍🏻
Oh man I haven't even seen that stuff yet! Can't wait! Yeah it's going to be nuts for sure.
@@RyanDillonMTB we pulled over on our way up the hill and went for a walk to look. It’s still very soft and people have ridden it which is sad, it’s all fenced off, but will be mint when it hardens.
