my biggest regret with the 14+ was buying the starlight white version, originally I wanted the blue and I should’ve went with it and I don’t know what possessed me to get the white. But they came out with this nice yellow colour a few months after I got the 14plus (white) so I gave my it to my dad and bought the yellow, i even bought the matching case😊. I have no regrets now. but I do agree with you about the sky blue and the yellow iPhone, looks different but nice.

I think you find the sky coloured case against the new yellow colour of the phone aesthetically pleasing because blue and yellow are complementary colours, which means they usually go well with one another. But like you said, they're both light shades so they wouldn't be complete opposites of each other..
In my opinion,any colour Apple case can be used with any colour iPhone because once you have the case on,only the colour on the camera bump can be seen and that is facing away from you 99.9% of the time anyway.

QUESTION:
Other than 3rd party apps, is there a way to make icons on home page more transparent or to tone down color intensity?
I use my own artwork as wallpaper and would enjoy being able to see the color and detail of my paintings, while still being able to have home screen functional.
Looking for some subtle changes here?
And if ur response is no (which i expect it will be) is there a good app u might have used or tried that u feel comfortable suggesting i might try?

I have waited until the launch of iphone 15 to see the new yellow. The pale pastel shade is horrible. I am getting darker yellow from 14 series. Luckily that the new ones are out so 14 is a bit cheaper now.

The sides look to my eye kinda like a soft antique gold. I like the side color w the yellow glass, tho i prefer my Starlight💜💜💜💜💜💜💜Would enjoy in future a soft and mellow version of turquoise (ie like the turquoise stone, only toned down and lighter)

Yes. All the iPhone 14s in the other colors (not the Pros) will be able to use the new yellow wallpaper on 16.4

@@IamBATMAN2024 Because the pros have their own set of wallpapers. There are, however, sites where you can download the yellow wallpaper that’s for the non pro iPhone 14 and use it on the 14 Pro.

For some reason, I shouldn’t have bought my mom the yellow one. I think that besides the yellow case, the others are just not that good. I should have bought her the light purple. But, I guess I’ll have to ask her about the case color.
And when people put a case on it they will not see that color anymore, so the color of the phone doesnt really matter in the in the end, unless you dont use a case or if you use a clear case.

seeing Starlight and maintain drop protection; however am finding the edges discolor too much.

I love my 14 Plus (there were no Starlight in 14 PM anywhere, at the time i ordered)
Have vision issues along w eye strain (what’s new, right??)
The 14 Plus screen is considerably more easy on the eyes, as compared to the previous 11, which i apparently kept forever…
Also prefer the larger size in general 👍
I don’t know why Apple puts out a colour edition like that. I mean doesn’t makes sense plus people have already seen yellow colour in the iPhone. 11 as well, so nothing that new. Plus even in the case of iPhone 12 Apple launched purple which again we’ve already seen in iPhone 11. If Apple wants to launch a colour so atleast be new with the colour and bring it with the line up and not later on. I think Apple should think about it.

I actually hate Apple’s silicone cases, I really like their leather cases and their clear cases. I honestly prefer their leather cases over any other case, but everything always sticks to the silicone.

@@BrandonButch the leather ones are great for me, I prefer light send cases I do not like thick heavy cases. The only other case company I like is tech 21.
