    Have you ever experienced bloat in your fish? If so, how did you manage it?

      Hey brother i have and in the process of curing columnaris i ended up curing bloat as well on one fish not sure if it was because of my method.I wanted to share with you cuz I know you said you hadn't dealt with columnaris and I know this is a different video with nothing to do about this but I wanted to share my method with you to see what you thought about it. I'll be posting a video on my channel that I just started and I will share with you how I cured it and another disease and would love a feedback from you since I know you're so knowledgeable.

    I really liked this video although I did find the editing to be very distracting, I think it would be more helpful to have pictures of the condition you’re talking about instead of the cartoon fish pop ups. Pictures would help people identify the condition better, and in videos like this maybe you could show similar conditions of different diseases, personally I think that would be very helpful in identifying diseases that can look similar but might need different treatments

    Great video! A little constructive criticism-While I applauded the new editing of the last video, I believe it was a little much in this video. Too many cutaways and some of the popups had an immature feel to them, not Zenzo-like. I believe Jimmy has the perfect amount of editing - not enough to take away the delivery of the talk/message but enough to support the main points (plus amazing intros and transitions).

    Great video as always. The nod to Blanch from the Golden Girls was awesome.

    Very good video. I haven’t had this issue because I give them a heavier vegetable based diet like you do. I also have to say the new intro in the last few videos is very well done 👍

    I have a question about glass surfing. 1 of my bigger male cichlid is nonstop glass surfing ever sense I move all my fish into a 55 gallon tank from a 50 gallon(?) 36"wide 21" tall 18" deep. I have all the same plants and pretty much same rock settings just different types of rock. Went from slate sheets to nice size flat think rock. Anyways all of the other fish are loving life and seem to be doing great. What's ur thoughts on y he wont stop surfing? Also he used to be the tank boss but that seems to have died down %75. Thank you to anyone that has some input on this..

      Speaking from experience 3 demasoni is a bad number because they will be very aggressive towards each other. A group of at least 8 is best as they are super territorial. You could also end up with 3 boys Nd they would fight immensely

    • @amazingaquaticsandexotics3030
      @amazingaquaticsandexotics3030 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Same for yellow labs. I have 4 and the dominant fish is a huge bully. I plan on making him the only yellow lab in the tank with the demasoni

    Why do you blanche the veges?

    • @TazawaTanks
      @TazawaTanks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It helps them sink, and also makes it easier for them to eat.

    Petition to rename this condition "Malawi Meat Sweats!" This just goes to show that we ALL need sufficient dietary fiber. Eat more veggies!

    Its a big challenge at our fish hatchery due to the density of fish. When the water quality is poor and the fish get stressed it can wipe them all out. Get your water quality on point and you will suffer less losses.
    Medicated feed with oxytetracycline can help if used very early on.
