Used this for a Backyard Ultra this past weekend. Shoe was very comfortable at first and held up for 15 hours. Switched shoes and ran the trail course for 9 hours, then when switching back to the road course again on Day 2 it seemed like the Glideride MAX wasn't excited to go again. It recovered some plushness over the 9 hours of not being used, but about 2 hours into using it again it began feeling flat and too stiff in the foam.
@@noahsmolsky4434 GRM is more rockered, not as energetic in the ride and the upper is thicker/ less breathable. Nova feels more dynamic and exciting underfoot
The description of the fit sounds also very good for me, since in many shoes i have just too much space in the front. Narrower to mid width at max i would say my feet are, but with a very low instep and generally ultra low volume feet and heels i seem to have. Everything else is normal, arches, etc. I hate my Nimbis 26 since this is a heel striking shoe and total unusable if landing more in front (hard and terribly loud slapping) and i also like the Noosa Tri, especially the new #16. I also have a Novablast 4 TR, a Novablast 2 and the novablast 3 which i bought after the 4TR and the 2, i sold after 2 runs. Not a "bad" shoe, but I dn't like it at all. Hope the NB5 isn't too soft for my 92kg/200lbs ;)
Well, "another Nimbus" doesn't sound good to me. "It's what the Nimbus should have been" sounds better to me. "Narrow fit and low volume foot" sound superb to me :) "Softer and sinkier than Nimbus 26" sounds terrible to me. Quastion @Run-are Is the Glideride max suitable for forefoot or mid-to forefoot strikers? Asking for a friend (me) ;) My Nimbus 26 is good for heel striking, walking, etc, but absolutely useless for forefoot striking. Hard and extremely loud slapping and just: unrunable. How is this Glideride Max? I mean, of all the highly cushioned shoes lately, there is a ton of competition among those shoes! Starting with the Superblast, then Superblast 2, Hoka Skyflow and Skyward X, Brooks Glycerin Max, Saucony Hurricane 24, Puma MagMax, etc, what advantage does the Glideride Max have? Besides a different fit to other models? Maybe we just don't count the Superblast 1+2, because they are 220€ and have Superfoam and are "do everything to long run" shoes. All the others are elevated daily trainers - the Skyward X beeing the most techno one. Really nearly too much to choose at the moment - just buy a Superblast 2 and don't think about anything else would be an ok idea, if there was enough stock ;)
@@philipppuchner1115 The GRM will certainly be a lot less slappy than the Nimbus due to the rocker, I think a forefoot striker will find this a bit like the Noosa. Probably a little more responsive feeling for you than the experience a heel striker will feel.
Kudos for revealing the headline in your starting teaser. Makes me realize, I am more likely to watch your videos if you dont cut off the revelation in the beginning.

Damn, you already have new colors!!!
@@alb.1911 the thumb is just a filter but my version was released when they dropped.
Looking forward for the Nimbus 27 with the new foam. 🤩

I have narrow feet and the fit for me is perfect. Love this shoe. Can you compare it to the novablast 5?

I have ordered the Nimbus 26 in wide... Noosa 15 and 16 a bit narrow for me at the metatarsal.. I guess this is narrow as well...
@@i.p2088 yes it's narrow, get the wide version or 1/2 size up
How's the sizing compared to Novoblast?
Its 1/2 size shorter IMO
Already have a Nimbus. Thanks for the review. I’ll pass on this one
@@jerrydooley7551 thanks for the comment
Do you think that the Nimbus 26 is faster?
@@alb.1911 no I don't think so, the GRM feelsa little faster with the rocker...only just though. Both sluggish
True to size bro?
@@The_Firm_21 not unless you have thin feet... go the wide version or 1/2 size up
