Please have a look at german extreme athlete Jonas Deichmann. He just did 120 Ultra-thriatlons in a row and will probably have over 200h of training a year
Ben Smith ran 401 marathons in 401 days. I ran 2 partial days with him and the pace was slow to allow for recovery. Ben's training volume would have been massive over the year.
Olli-Markus Taivainen from mainly Ski-O used to train alot. But dont remember any numbers. Iirc Justyna Kowalczyk were over 1200h if you include gym sessions.
@@igorpiasecki7909Since it is so well documented it should have been included he sure trained alot but I dont know if he makes this list without calculating. if someone have the time to do it it would be nice
So, why is there such a huge discrepancy to the training intensity that the cycling elite are following? Tadej Pogacar admitted that he spends more than 50% of his training sessions in zone 2 …
Personally I think a lot of people even professional conditioning coaches disminish the reality and follows certain numbers too much. With Pogacar you have to remember he is competing quite a lot through the season. This is why some lower levels who doesn't compete as often and dificult races should certainly push their training. They're holding too much and just spending time on the bike that way.
Mad respect from the research. Hands down the best XC skiing channel out there.
Not XC skiing but Keith Roy a cyclist is on 2110h this year. He is on 790 consecutive imperial centuries. You can check his strava.
I train 1000h/year. +600h running, +65h cycling and +300h walking. I'm 64. Senior training😁
Enorm video! Også avslutte med Lars! Fader meg rått, mann🥰

Which podcast did Klæbo hint about his training?
Love the disclaimer that there is no guarantee for the numbers to be accurate
Hey nice list, but what about Nils vanderpoel?
NVDP might be the most well-documented training regiment there is that is also available to everyone to look up

I wonder how much Katie Ledecky trains in a year
Does anyone know if Nikolaj has any socials/Strava????
Bro may have overtaken Muhlegg 😯 jk but great video!
Ok so my 200/yr might not be cutting it. And some of that is marginally translating activities.
You should have mentioned that Johaug used doping.
And Sunby.
Sundby asthma doper, but Johaug did not dope willingly
@@ceschenrik Wtf are you on?
@@Ritaroija69 have you looked into her case? if you think she doped you are actually retarded
@@ceschenrik LOL
I wonder where cyclist Lael Wilcox would be on this list.
