He really is. Between 2016 and 2018 we didn't see much difference in the way he danced but 2019 has been a whole new story.
In this battle I wouldn't say that. The whole time I was thinking Larry was dancing exactly like 2016 Larry. He's definitely evolved this year after losing Battle Bad last year. We're definitely gonna see another evolution with Rubix, Slim Boogie, and Badd Machine inspiring and pushing the twins in training, especially Slim Boogie.

He is way better !! That was i saw myself after a year and half since ive saw a video of his. He is far better , specially with popping and other techniques. So is Laurent with "robot" style. Both evolved way and beyond.
I feel like they gave Lumi a round just so they could see Larry dance some more, cause come on, that 2nd round wasn't even close, lol.
they do that sometimes when both dancers are good just for them to prove they deserve to win vs the other person. not saying that’s what happened here for sure, but just something I noticed in a lot of battles
RD for sure, this was such a slaughter in my opinion though.

100% agree. I watch a ton of dancers and am not bias towards Les Twins and I have to say that Larry won the 2nd round by miles, it's not even funny.

What is wrong with these crowds. They all must know the other dancers and not know how or what dance is.
This crowd do not feel the cohesion between movements of a dancer and a music rhythm. At all... Larry was way beyond of the level of this audience! And he keeps calm in these kinds of injustice, my respect.

Lumi won each round man its a hip hop battle...his first round had nothng but animation lol, but Larry's second round was fire I can't deny it. I think he only lost cuz he didn't look at his opponent at all just did a showcase.

2:50 - 3:04 just listen that background sound like a bell ting ting that larry is dancing to listen it carefully. Thats called musicality at its peak. Larrys second round was better than 1st round. How the fuck lumi got the second round . This only part from 2:50-3:04 is enough for winning the round and they gave it to lumi. I gt devastated aftr this.

I really don't understand why all these competitions INSIST on bad camera angles!! It's baffling. If you're recording a dance competition isn't it important to do your best to capture the front of the dancer's performance? Am I missing something?????????????
Almost impossible.
To do that you need to be behind the opponent which is also moving when the other one dance.
At the end most of the round will be blind because of the actual dancer dancing on the whole stage, going forth and back, facing it's opponent... Or also because of the position of its opponent itself.
@@battlebadtv Thank you for responding! I appreciate that. It seems the dancers tend to dance mostly side view or towards the judges but the camera angles usually are facing the judges instead of from behind them... (this is not just your competition, I'm speaking in general) Is there a reason for this? Why not always have a good camera view from the judges perspective?
@@battlebadtv Honestly just need to have the camera from the judge's pov. Dancers usually face their opponent, the judges, or their side of the crowd.

First, judges are not on the ground so the point of view is from the top which is a bit weird.
Also, not enough space behind them and stage lights are oriented from public perspective...
To be honest, the best is to have 4 cameras, one at each corners but that's next level 😅

Ayo I'm sorry respect to lumi but round 2 was all Larry. He was nowhere dissecting that beat better then Larry. So many are like "ya'll LT fans always saying that they win, give someone else a chance". Yeah we will when someone steps up and shows they're capabilities are a close to the twins. Not just giving a win because we feel bad. It's a competition, not supposed to be all sweet/ sympathetic. Judges suck
100% I also think the judges gave lumi the round just to make it not so one sided, this has been done across so many different battle tournaments im sick of it. I mean if you win you win, now a days in my opinion theres a lot of FAKE JUDGING going around. I do not trust any judges at all, unless its skitzo, tight eyez or the twins judging.

Ricky Villa You just said Lumi‘s rounds were terrible. Everybody who knows dancing or dance aswell knows that lumi is high class and this rounds also. Doing tricks on repeat is good for the eye (Larry) Yes, lumi style can be seem boring, but when you look closer and understand his movements, it’s not. Look at first round would give a tie tbh. Larry staying on the same spot the whole round and only focusing on doing moves/tricks, without bouncing once! I really can’t see/feel a connection to his dance (on this round) to the music. Other hand lumi taking the room/place and is really into the music, grooving and flowing in once, different directions, followed with technic and even showed more musicality then even Larry, but he takes too long at the beginning to start his round. Just two completely different styles. I understand your point, I don’t want to offended you or something, but stating lumi as terrible, nah come on haha
